  • This talk will go over the process of making crowd animation using to Houdini based on my work for the installation of "Sekigahara sansuizu byoubu", a digital recreation of the folding screen depicting the battle of Sekigahara.
Hitsuji works with backspacetokyo, a collective of artists, as a freelance engineer on a number of installations and visual productions that involve programming.

Good day, tell me where it is better for a beginner to start learning houdini, thanks)

I was so confused myself for where to start learning Houdini and I just went on to watch tutorials on youtube but eventually, they got me even more messed up. So, in my opinion if you really wanna learn it, make yourself clear about what you want to do in Houdini. It is not so popular with modeling (as compared to Maya and Max), so I assume you'd be interested in FX. The best way to start FX in Houdini is Applied Houdini course by CG Circuit. You'll get a good base knowledge after that.
