Awesome. Thanks for the tutorial. I have one question, how to assign the textures to a mixamo character that has more than one shape? I mean the ninja character has only one but what if I want to use Drake for example?
yeah, I’m totally understand question but the only solution I have is to convert this multi part shape texture to the udim as a one texture that’s will work. having said that eventually in karma, you can recreate your material with the separate part and assign it to the root of the crowd and it will work eventually to apply that individually for each agent.
Because you brought this up I have two options with real time solution: (I think sidefx not going to do that anytime soon) 1- niagara fluid epic unreal engine 1- JangaFX Product
@@diyz3n It's a bit early for Niagara fluids, but chaos destruction is very effective at this point. I would choose it over Houdini's RBD for its speed. Liquidgen isn't out yet, but Geogen and Embergen look so good that I'm genuinely concerned for SideFX's position in the market
@carlosrivadulla8903 totally agree with ya Niagara and in general epic live solutions like lumen cloth fluid in my opinion not production-ready (vfx industry speaking ) it’s just great for the live feedback (I would love to see that feedback in Houdini) And sidefx has a great history and reputation. I guess That’s saving them from the bull market, which is epic and jangafx riding head in live solution.
Thanks a lot for these tricks, I was figuring it out this morning and your tutorial was very helpful!
Yeah, this is nice tricks in my opinion and was helpful for me in first place honestly
