Had my first session today, i can tell you it is the most painful shit I've ever felt.

It is terribly painful. I may have to take the Dr up on his offer of a lidocaine injection for the next session. On the plus side the tats are fading nicely.

But the woman with the laser was HOT and I was NOT gonna get my man card pulled so I sucked up the pain, didn't even grimace and just squeezed the shit out of a rubber ball she gave me. She asked if I needed a break and I said "nah I'm good" and then we both smelled burnt skin and she said "ok now I need a break" and she prolly figured "these military guys are psychos" hahaha, yes we have a high threshold for pain, but yeah, I'd agree with ya....

Tattoo removal exists because the majority of young people don't comprehend just how long "the rest of my life" is.
And everyone I know that's had it done says it hurts a shit ton more than actually getting a tat, plus I was not impressed with the results. Winds up looking like a blurry birthmark rather than completely disappearing.

The ink contains different metals depending on color and the laser has no light that the explosions caused by the metal basically the break down the metal in the ink so white blood cells can get rid of it faster

Hey dan since you're just going to get the full slieve eventually there are tattoo artists who can cover it up and incorporate it into the design for the full slieve, rather than spend money to laser remove it only to ink over it again
I've been getting laser tattoo removal for almost 3 years. I HIGHLY recommend you ice the shit out of your tattoo before he starts zapping you. It makes it slightly more bearable.

I actually sit on a tattoo idea for at least a year to make sure I still love the idea. If I'm not as excited about it a year later, best to give it another year and probably not get it done at all.

@@cooperrush76 Hydrogen peroxide is safe enough to rinse ones mouth with. Pushing small bubbles of it into my tattoo did the job without any ill effects.
