Which Rock song or Country song should I do next????🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ Drop it 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Volbeat.....Seal the deal, Metallica To live is to die....
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven, it’s a long song but also known as the greatest rock song of all time!
Jason Alden Dirt Road Anthem
AC/DC Hells Bells and definitely a Pass
Oasis~don't look back in anger
Played this song at our sons funeral in May 2020. His favourite Metallica song. RIP son ... with us forever.
Thoughts with you Jill, I hope the song brings you some comfort
Sorry for ur loss. RIP
Jill, I honestly don't really know what to say to try and make you feel even a tiny bit better, I couldn't imagine what that must feel like. But, I do just want to send someone positive thoughts and energy your way. Thank you for sharing that memory...🖤
Via Con Dios.. sorry for your lost.. I know the pain. It hurts like no other. Yet, you still find comfort and a smile in something that reminds you of them... As long as you talk about them they are still alive..
Sorry to hear man🙌🏻
Fun fact. James Hetfield, the lead singer, fought long and hard against doing this song because he didn't feel that it was a Metallica song. The band finally won him over and history was made.
Not to mention if anyone has ever seen him live you can literally watch him go from singing to a crowd to being lost in the very song itself
I just saw a clip of James talking about this song. He said he didn't want to present it to the band because it was to deep. He said they spent so much time being a heavy metal band and this song wasn't even close to heavy metal but when they heard it they convinced him into doing the song like you stated. That's cool learning that because Metallica used to be 1 of my favorite bands growing up. Hearing the rifts from this song really take me back to some great memories.
Wow what a fun fact..almost not fun
You know him..i font think so wonder you can Tell sonething like this🙄🤨
"Somebody playing that for real."
Of course there are, it's metal.
Lmao it's not rap
right on 🤟😆! truth.
Mama Llama Sorry for being a hypocrite but ehm. 🤟 This is not the devil horns =🤘
Meme Iselfaneye This song is actually rock, however, this is definitely a metal band.
@@kingexclusivo Power Ballad, though seems like only Metal bands do them.
metallica - one
2nd this but do a lyric video. The official music video is weird
One is amazing
@@chrisco9914 The video is fantastic and a must see.
@@SparksDrinker The video is really only fantastic if you have seen the movie before and are listening to the lyrics. Or already know the lyrics and are focusing on the video. Going into the video blind on both just confuses people.
@@gamerfreak0007 Maybe but those long shots of the band thrashing in that warehouse are the best, I want a painting of that. I think if before the reaction he is prepped on what the song and video are about it's worth it.
An interesting things I've noticed is that most of the Reactors who usually react to predominantly hip hop music seem to be drawn to Metallica's music and almost instantly love and appreciate the bands music. I really think these reaction channels are starting to bring great and diverse music into the lives of people who would never have listened or even given it a chance had it not been for this platform and it's pretty fucking dope to see people from different walks of life truly appreciate and like music that's meant something to you in your life! Fuckin awesome! 💯
Brandon Hinrichs x2 never cared for heavy metal but love Metallica.
@@Jeeper1378 you should check out the band Tool
I'm waiting for a reactor to try metal and go like.
Nope.
I tried but nope.
I'm going to laugh so hard when it happens.
I'm also waiting for these reactors to get into the extreme side like Decapitated or Behemoth.
Even some folk stuff like Blind Guardian or Wintersun.
Gary Pereira i thought that would happen with Shaq and slipknot but nope. Im not a huge metal fan but love Metallica.
@@Jeeper1378 the song Shaq reacted to is not close to Slipknot's heaviest and Slipknot isn't close to the the extremes of bands like Behemoth or At The Gates.
However, if you want to give metal a fair try you need to understand that Metal has subgenres so many and each has it's own unique style and sound. Metallica falls under Thrash Metal
The genres I'm into are as follows.
Thrash Metal (Metallica, Slayer, Testament)
Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ghost)
Death Metal (Death, Deicide, Bloodbath)
Progressive Metal (Opeth, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree)
Stoner Metal (Truckfighters, Bongzilla, Red Fang)
Doom Metal (Candlemass, November's Doom)
Black Metal (Mayhem, Celtic Frost)
Folk Metal (Blind Guardian, Wintersun)
Grunge (Alice in Chains, Mad Season, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam)
For the following genres it's few select bands I like but am not fond of the genre in general
Grindcore (Carcass)
Metalcore (Trivium)
Nu Metal (Slipknot, Rage Against The Machine)
Power Metal (Kamelot, Manowar)
Speed Metal (Van Halen, Accept)
Viking Metal (Amon Amarth, Korkiplaani)
Shock Rock (KISS,Alice Cooper)
Genres I don't care about
Symphonic Metal (too cheesy)
Deathcore
Genres that should be forgotten
Mathcore
Genres are even fused
Blackened Death Metal (Behemoth)
You definitely earned my sub, I love it when music breaks boundaries of culture and unifies is all.
Mos def!!! I listen to everything from krs1, outkast, eminem, crucial conflict, tela , luda , wu tang then switch up to Metallica, megadeth, iron maiden, offspring, slipknot, FFDP, bullet for my valentine, and then garth brooks, George straight, Conway Twitty ,Tracey Adkins , then to Eagles, journey , Boston, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn , and tons of other diverse strands of music. Cultural and ethical backgrounds should have no influence on appreciation of great music!
Yep. Same with food. I can’t stand people who won’t try something new because they don’t eat the way we eat. Fuck you are lame get the fuck out of my circle of friends lol. In my mind though, wouldn’t be disrespectful like that 😂
The guitar is a dual neck guitar. The top one is a twelve string, the bottom a 6 string.
The true hero
The only person that actually listened to his question
Much apreciated
I was gonna answer but you got us covered
Metallica. Fade to black. Master of puppets. The four horsemen
That's right Connie.
Harvester Of Sorrow live 91 Moscow, For Whom The Bell Tolls, No Leaf Clover, The God That Failed.
What he said!! √
Master of puppets 11/10
I agree ,fade to black !! Nothing else matters is so soft . I love wherever I may roam too. I love all of Metallica's music though. They are the best !!!! Oh he might like ONE as well.
Hetfield's solos are just so pure. He shows you everything in those moments! Don't sleep on this man!
You gotta do “One” and “Master of Puppets” both by Metallica
In the words of Heisenberg, "You're goddamn right."
4:25 it’s a double-neck guitar. It’s used when you have two different tunings, or in this case two different “sounds” going from a 12 string guitar to a 6 string guitar, in the same song and need to switch immediately from one to the other.
Please react to Fade to Black, The Unforgiven, One, Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman
This list is correct!
She knows her music
ONE for sure. That song is poetry
For Whom The Bells Tolls, The God That Failed, No Leaf Clover, Ride The lighting.
Of Wolf and Man and Carol of the Bells, too!
Enter Sandman by Metallica
"Somebody playing this for real this isn't analog" oh boy are you entering quite the rabbit hole.
this is how rock music is made and played"live" no sampled " borrowed" sounds. That's real talent.
Stfu
If you like this then Master of Puppets should be your next song from Metallica
Nice expanding the genres. I grew up listening to this whole album. This album was like the father that wasn’t around for me. Between 7 and 12 yo. Listening to every word and feeling those.... BARS. HAHA
7th through 9th grade for me. There are still people who call me Metallica chick lol. Then I found NIN and that was the soundtrack for my angsty high school career.
Here’s my personal suggestions for Rock:
Metallica - One, Master of Puppets
AC/DC - Dirty Deeds, Hell’s Bells, Back in Black, Rock and Roll ain’t Noise Pollution
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black, Sympathy for the Devil
He's listing the most mainstream songs by the way.
Love watching reactions like this. Seeing someone who was raised listening to diff music and appreciates good music no matter what form it’s in.
It's actually really satisfying seeing a rap artist enjoy music like this, earned my sub brother, so dope to see you expanding out to other genres and enjoying it. And most of all, respecting it.
Well I just subbed to you because I'm really excited for you to be on this journey of discovering all the Great music out there that alot of us "older" folks have loved all these years. I was a kid from the 70's and my #1 thing to do was going to concerts and at 60 I still do! Long live Rock n Roll!! Lol so enjoy the ride! ✌
Why I subbed too!
They’re amazing bro. At the end of the day wether it’s rap, country, rock or metal. It comes down to the lyricism and the music. When they hit that solo or verse that gives you chills.... That’s when all is right in the world. That’s why we love real music.
Thank you for this video, i just love your honest reaction and enjoyment that you show during all this.
My best friend died almost 10 years ago at age 21 because of cancer (he was 2 days older than me, i have loterally known him since birth since our mothers were in the same hospitalroom) and even now i cant listen to this song without tearing up.
And seeing you feeling this song with all your heart and soul just made me happy and gave me something which i cant really define. i don't know if you read this but thank you.
This song has followed me throughout my life. The chord construction and the acoustic aesthetic really make a story out of the journey. The words really start to program into you the more you listen. At the end of the day live life the way you want to because nothing else matters.
It's in their blood. They are really an incredible band too see live. Deep lyrics.
You're the only reaction I watch that actually closes your eyes and vibes out! Takes it all in ...that's wassup
I really loved experiencing that song through you, seeing your reaction for the first time, beautiful. One of my very favourites. Much love from Scotland 🏴
Subbed 👍
Metallica: One, Fade to Black, For Whom the Bell Tolls
Nine Inch Nails: Wish, Head Like a Hole, Only, Gave Up
Tool: Sober, Aenima, Schism
Korn: Blind, Freak on a Leash, Wicked
I agree with all of those!! Check them out, with headphones, and your ears will bleed as your trasported!
A man of culture
Hotel: TriVaGo
Elton John called this “one of the best songs ever written”
I'm not a big rock music or Metallica fan but my bro has loved them for years, one of theirs I like is the day that never comes.. will get your head moving!
This is one of my favorite songs of theirs! Some other really good ones:
"Unforgiven", "Enter Sandman", "Hero of the Day", "Of Wolf and Man"
Metallica is my most favourite band of all time🤘👍you got goosebumps didn't you? I have all their CDs..and they're still touring with new music
You should definitely check out more Metallica. I can see that you get into it and feel it. But just know that they are usually heavier than this.
love your reactions man!! love from Puerto Rico
I loved your reaction to seeing the old school reel to reel. Also love the black panther poster
Tool- Pushit Salival
The tribal drums in this version are amazing. The Vocals tho are fire. This is a live Album, it'll blow you away to know they sound this good in concert.
Ran across your channel by accident, subbed almost immediately. It's awesome to see you react to other genres like rock, so if you want something a little heavier, try out "In This Moment" (band name). Songs like blood, black wedding, or big bad wolf.
just found this channel and already love your reaction videos. just had to subscribe. greetz n beats from austria
I like your reactions a lot, please keep doing what you do!
your one of the first people on YT i have seen who raacts to music i grew up with that points out how everything was done on instruments and had to be together in a room to record, this is why i know so many people now who say new music is crap with all this auto tune crap. Then when i see young people now open up to this music they are blown away at talent musicians.
Completely agree. Musicianship is almost dead in todays popular music culture. Its now mostly about vocals and electronica. Not saying electronica is complete trash.. being a nerd from back in the 80's, electronic music was a goal simply b/c it was 'cool' to think that music could be generated via computer.. but it should have never replaced true musicians as the standard.
Peace
Which rock or metal bands are not recording their music with real instruments? Pop music is trash and has been for a while. Madonna never went in the studio with a band. To this day, rock and metal bands still record like this.
If you were replying to me (No idea if you were or not) I am not aware of many bands in metal or associated genres that do not record this way except bands that fall under Industrial or Electronica (both of which I consider to be fringe metal/rock crossovers) Bands such as NiN and The Prodigy rely heavily on computer-generated sounds.. but even they both have some real instruments to accompany... and I do not consider Madonna a band.. she is a singer.. a performer.. an artist.. the 'band' are the (nameless?) musicians that play/record the music she sings to and may or may not accompany her on tour. Those that did the recording and those that may or may not accompany the tour need not be the same people.. session musicians vs tour musicians.
My original statement was referring to Pop music and the majority of Rap/Hip Hop that I have heard.. tho I have not heard much so could be just that I have not heard the ones that have regular musicians and not just computer technicians running a midi synth or however it is done.
If you were not replying to my comment then I apologize for my need to clarify as if you had. :P hehe
Peace
@@uoabigaillevey not directly. I don't know why I got annoyed. His comment about it in the video kinda got to me. He's right, but also should've clarified. I can't think of one rock or metal band that doesn't play instruments. Or record in studio with pre manufactured sounds from a computer. It wasn't meant as an attack, but I get it looked that way.
No worries.. and I did not view it as a personal attack just as a miscommunication on my part lol.
Peace
This is one of their softer songs, but the level of musicianship carries over to their hardest songs as well
Great song choice!!! I've never heard this song. I wasn't into metal myself but my son's father introduced it to me years ago. Now, I love it!! I don't remember if he ever sang this particular song but I would've loved to have heard him sing it. He was an amazing guitarist and vocalist. R.I.P. CABRON!!
This song made me start playing the guitar, my biggest inspiration for sure
Please react to Queen; "The Show must go on."
Guns n Roses -November Rain
A def must layedbak
Really a beautiful song man...deep from the soul.
I still recall being a teenager listening to this song for the first time back in the day. Metalica always brought quality material, even though I have always been a hip-hop head.
Spit out the bone- METALLICA 🤘🏻🔥
He will not like it
Don’t throw him in the deep end!
he would not be "laidback" anymore, he'll be "laid" only
Try Metallica's unforgiven. The greatest riff in the history of hard rock music
This song was my dad's favourite and it was his favourite band he past away when I was 3 so now it's a memory song
As a huge fan of both hip hop and Metallica, this video makes me so happy. It's great to see other people connect to their music like I do. This may be my favorite song of theirs. As for future videos, I think The Pot by Tool would be dope
2019 health is wealth baby! Now let’s get thatMorning honey!!!
Bro. Do a reaction to Distrubed: Sound of Silence
Its done..
Cool review man, hope you do more like this!
You gotta check out their s&m album. They perform their best songs live and with an orchestra. Sounds absolutely incredible
Slower songs like this were my "gateway" to the harder Metal music.
Try Tool-Lateralus I promise you they'll blow your mind man. They're on a whole nother level as musicians than pretty much any band on earth
Apocalyptica- Hall of the Mountain King. A rock band with an unique style. They take the classic piece amd add an amazing twist
I've been a MetallicA fan since 1996 and NEM still gives me goosebumps.
plzzz react to metallica unforgiven
pass bro respect cheers layedback pet the dog lol I like that song I heard the title and passed it right off the bat
@3:23 I know you said back in the day, plenty of groups still honor this more traditional method to this day. I appreciate you for acknowledging that fact..
My favorite band....I heard this song and never believed it was them....A dj on the radio had to tell be 😂....I bought the CD and fell in love
Nazareth - Hair Of The Dog, Van Halen - Aint Talking About Love, Halestorm - Apocalyptic
"Somebody playing that for real", you wouldn't believe dude :D
I get goosebumps everytime I hear the opening to this song.
You enjoying this track is such a mood
If you like Rock/Country, try Metallica's song Mama Said
ua-cam.com/video/XdoAAWqJORc/v-deo.html
Another Metallica's rock/country song: unforgiven 2
ua-cam.com/video/VmqDtriTUEI/v-deo.html
What kind of guitar is that?
Otto: "You know those guitars that are, like, double guitars?"
My name is Otto, I love to get blotto
You keep time like a drummer, it’s cool to watch
This was played at my dads funeral along with see you on the other side by ozzy. Absolutely amazing song.
Metallica ONE song is there best song I'll go as far as the greatest rock song ever brother
nah
Nie jest
Plz the four horseman song from their first album young metallica also metallica is not a rock band its a thrash metal band
metal metalhead metal band, only one thrash album though.
I love that you are branching out, always love your reactions. There are so many facets to explore, I see a lot of people asking to react for some deeper stuff in rock/metal. I personally think that songs like Whiskey in the Jar by Metallica would be a better intro. 5 finger death punch - house of the rising sun is amazing, panic! At the disco - Death of a Bachelor, Sublime -Santaria, and so many more. But keep doing what you do, I'll be here.
Whereever I May Roam is my fave Metallica song, SO GOOD!
This is a classic Metallica PASS! My now 35yr old son worshipped Metallica.....BUT, he says he's still mad at Lars Ulrich over NAPSTER. There's a nugget for you!
Tell your son to get his shit together and try to see that whole thing from the artists perspective and to also let go of it after that because it's way in the past at this point.
@@Fertho get a sense of humor
Oh BTW, as for telling my son to get his shit together...he was one of those Marines that took Fallujah Iraq. He then went on to get a MS in Computer Sci. He's a Triathelete and a Spartan....you tell him to get his shit together. He'll clean your clock, stupe.
So despite all of that, he's still dumb enough to be mad over that whole Napster thing? I suspect lies. Do you even have a son?
No, that was just off the top of my head. All lies. No one could have a son that good. And, if he did exist, he wouldn't give a rats ass about Napster, Lars, or you. You're a silly mess.
NIRVANA!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!
You know youre right or on a plane come to mind

Well done man👍
I’m really feeling the mix of genres boss 🔥👌🏼🍀
James Hetfield is a badass. Dude has a PhD in astrophysics and is one of the greatest rock frontmen of all time
Think you're confusing him with Brian May from queen, bud
bro here in 2023 wow uve grown/matured with content but u are still u same deal....love it
This was recorded back in the day where it took like a year to make an album. There's a documentary about it (can't remember the title but just look up "black album behind the scenes" or something to that extent), but they spent over $1 million in pre-production alone (gathering all the gear and literally building a room for the drums to have the perfect reverb). Hella cool stuff
I subbed to you from your Em reaction, but seeing you react to my all time favorite song I think I'm in love!! 😍😍😍😂🤘
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽☺️
@@LayedBakDFR 😆😉
great reaction enjoyed it thank you
Metal music is still done that way in the Studio just instead of tape its to protools. That guitar is a Gipson SG dual neck. No G 2 a Key and 88 Keys are here in Milwaukee working with me on my solo metal album.
Most rock bands, especially the older ones, STILL record that way! Also, Metallica is still going strong!
I barely found you my bro but you get an automatic subscribe for that eminem poster in the back and with metallica thats a yes for me
Never been into music like this always liked rap, grime, RnB, reggae but damn is this song awesome!
That guitar was a Gibson EDS-1275 double-neck 12/6-string. Same is used by Jimmy page of Led Zeppelin and Alex Lifeson of Rush...
You should react to The Black keys...Too Afraid to Love You. Love this band. ♥️
The solo gives me chills every time
Finally you have entered the realm of LEGENDS!!! Two videos you have to watch are ONE and ENTER SANDMAN LIVE IN MEXICO! You definitely won’t regret it. 🔥🔥🔥
This was "our song" of my first love, and even after 16 years, its still painful and bittersweet to listen too. Glad to see you discovering Metallica though! Hard to go wrong with Metallica.
Holy hell you had a light theme background?! Dig the darker vibes lol
I remeber this song when i was 17 years old... a good friend of mine died on drug addicted in heroin. By his burial were close to 400 people, i nevr seen this befor and allready not after. Martin, i miss you my friend!!! Rest in peace where ever you are! The other song we played in this time was "Nur die besten sterben jung" von "Die bösen Onkelz".
This was the first Metallica album I bought as a teenager in the 90s. My best friend got me into them as a kid. We listened to Master of Puppets at 12 lol.
First full song I’ve ever learned on guitar love it
In reference to the statement about musicians having to be in the studio together. That’s what they are still doing (in music that includes bands).
Been going down your rock music reactions. Awesome to see you enjoying my childhood influences, saw metallica live in japan. Their live music just as good or better. Looks like you need to pick up a guitar bro, you be diggin the riffs. Keep it up, imma stay layedbak an watch some more.
