Toyota 4.7 Transfer Case Re-Gear Tutorial

This video follows the marlin crawler manual for re gearing your gear driven toyota transfer case: www.marlincrawler.com/sites/a... It shows tips and tricks to help with the install. It also shows some of the tools and skills you would need to install these gears. This is a fun modification that is pretty easy if you take your time. It takes a couple hours to a day to do depending how long you spend cleaning all the parts. The 4.7 case is awesome and completely transforms the vehicle off road, I highly recommend!

With the bearing kit do u have to order a sepret kit cause the case is factory 21 spline and not 23. In saying that the new 23 spline comes with the bearing for main shaft or are they all the same size

Not sure, I ordered a seperate rebuild kit and ended up with one or two duplicate unused bearings. Call Marlin, they're the experts!

Hahaha, theres an ave video on it. If you wrap them in a bundle of wet paper towels it will stop them from sparking and because water can only get so hot before becoming steam it heats them reliably to ~212F. Works pretty well and only takes a minute or two if you dont have a fancy bearing heater!
