I love your chrome application over regular polish. I'm not currently a gel/lamp user, but finding that I am missing out on some very beautiful nails! THANK YOU! I was wondering why my regular top-coats were messing up the mirror finish. I'll be going to either Ulta or Sally's Beauty Supply tomorrow to get the water-based clear/top-coat so I can try my powder again. A lot of these videos would say 'no wipe' but didn't 'explain' the difference between the no-wipe/water-based & the regular top coat & when I'd do a google search, it would just give me a list of polish without telling what the difference was.

Okay so I get it wow now I have the machine and I have all the gel although I don't like the nail polishes I do have a black nail polish I never much liked it but I guess I could pull it out and try it.... okay thank you so much for the tutorial it's amazing it's beautiful and it's so obtainable I mean it seems very easy although usually things are easier said than done! 🤞 That being said it's definitely worth a try I absolutely want my nails to match my eyeshadows as I love all things sparkly shimmery shifty❤️ that is my jam!😍😍🙏😊❤️

I totally believe this is my fault for 1.pressing too hard 2. I did the sponge like 3 times when 1 or 2 was enough. Next time will be better but like she said trial and error. I still got alot of rose gold powder and silver on the way.

The the description of the Butter London peel off gel base you linked says it only works with its same brand nail system. It’s $18 so I wanted to make sure that it’s the correct product for your method before I purchase it. Thanks and great video
Susan Miller I believe the “peel off” part only works (or works best) with their whole peel off system. I didn’t like peeling it off when I tried the kit. I use it a regular base coat and soak it off. It comes off super easy and doesn’t damage my nails. I also like that it’s a base + top coat! But it’s not necessary for this method to work, any gel base coat will do! 😊
Try Elmer‘s clear school glue instead of water-based topcoat for your non-gel chrome manicure… Then seal on top with any quick dry shiny topcoat, extremely important to cap the edges sometimes twice. This is the shiniest non-gel chrome finish I have tried! :-)

One hand looks like it went through a hail storm with pits all over my nails while the other hand is smooth like I expected it to be. Very disappointed with her technique (or non-technique) so I'm not getting chrome done by her again.
Very nice video but when you voice sounds clear but annoying sometimes. Maybe you have the microphone too close. I don't understand why is that, you have a beautiful voice but if you listen to yourself with headphones, you'll know what I mean.

Cap the free edge before applying the polish to the nail bed. You can smooth out any kind of bump left by capping the free edge last 😉
