This should be a full documentary, something special for Beatles fans everywhere. They already know about the band's trip to India to see the maharishi. So why not this?
Hey Jed! Yeah...it's a very interesting story! Don't know if one could make a documentary, as it is just an unverified myth at this point. But it would make a fun "What If" movie or TV show for sure!
@@AGringoinMexico Well look more into it and get it noticed by giving it to many Beatles fans. Or maybe ask the last remaining Beatles themselves, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
@@jedhawkins1769 that would be awesome. Maybe I'll send this to Paul and Ringo and see if I get a reply? Did you see the TV movie made in the nineties (I think) where they re-created John and Paul getting together in the late seventies? It all took place at the Dakota and was based around the time that Saturday Night Live offered them a hundred dollars to reunite on the show. It had great interplay between the characters and was also a "What If" type scenario.
@@AGringoinMexico No, I haven't seen it. But the band's time in Mexico should be written in a book. This is a little piece of rock history that deserves to be told.
I don't know for sure but they did do acid in india, so this is believable actually! although how the hell mushrooms can grow in mexico is beyond me, a bit warm! but I guess it's not impossible.
Hahahah! Thanks for your comment earthsteward70! While the coastal areas in Mexico are quite warm, much of the country's interior, including Oaxaca, is mountainous and the weather changes drastically when the season changes. It's documented that a lot of movie and rock stars visited Maria Sabina to indulge in her magic 'shrooms. Including Rock Hudson and Jim Morrisson.
What do you think of this Beatles in Mexico Myth? Fantasy or did it really happen?
Saludos guero. Enjoy the mexican delicius food. God bless you my friend
Thanks JDMA! I live in San Diego, but when i want really good food, I travel south of the border, every time!
She was said to have shared her mushrooms with many! Fun little video! Gracias!
A lot of celebrities visited her and partook. Including Walt Disney and Jim Morrison! Thanks for your comment Shari!
great photos, interesting story. combining two of my favorite topics, mexico and the beatles.
Agree! I'd never heard that story before, and HAD to make a video of it. Glad you enjoyed! I love Mexico and the Beatles as well :-)

Polyethylene pam could be from the plastic band
