San Diego-based writer W. Scott Koenig founded AGringoInMexico.com to report on Mexican destinations, food, culture, and adventure. He is considered an influencer in Baja California and San Diego.

Scott is author of Seven Days in The Valle: Baja California’s Wine Country Cuisine, has written columns for Dining Out San Diego, San Diego Red, Discover Baja, and other print and online publications.

Scott curates and leads public and private culinary tours of Baja California. He has fixed film and video productions in the region and has worked with Netflix, the Food Channel, the BBC, NPR, Unilever, and the Culinary Institute of America.

Scott is the owner of Koenig Creative LLC in San Diego and has 30+ years of experience in marketing, creative direction, and graphic design.
