This is Germany, the meat is fine :P We dont really have much in terms of food bacteria and parasites over here in Europe, its a far more common thing in the NA/SA and Asia. We still follow safety recommendations mostly, but they are really just recommendations here because there is rarely any risk. Hell I'd eat raw chicken to just prove my point, but that shit is disgusting raw xD

not if it was german METT, if it was in some other county it could be. But the restrictions for german mett are really high (for example the meat but not be older then 4 hours, then they will cook it for something else). Some Germans eat it everyday and are fine.

This looks like more of Atkins type, low carb, high protein diet no? A keto diet is high fat, moderate protein (not high protein.)

no, keto diet still has high protein you don't need low protein to enter ketosis only low carbs then your body stops feeding off blood glucose and feeds off ketones/body fat
no, keto is intended for low protein, HIGH fat. protein is kept minimal to prevent protein from being converted to carbohydrate via gluconeogenesis. this is more of a ket-ish diet.
also, he is wrong. his body is not burning "his fat" unless he's in a caloric deficit. it is burning the fat he is eating.
For your information, excess protein will be converted into glucose by the body and kick you out of ketosis.
You're doing the ketogenic diet wrong, in a ketogenic diet, your protein intake should never be higher than your fat intake. What you're doing here is actually the Atkins low carb diet.

Generally eating raw meats is a well excepted practice. With the exception of poultry, most quality meats are handled well enough to be safe to eat raw. As you work towards the week old cheap cuts you have to worry about the bacteria that has begun to fester

I think for a keto diet your proteins will be limited too. Not sure what the exact macro split is but I recall it being pretty low in the end.

Im a bit late to this but the way I make them is half cup of almond flour, 4 tbsp of heavy cream, 1/4 tsp of baking powder, pinch of salt and 1 egg. If you want it too be a bit sweeter add stevia

For anyone craving carba, creamed cauliflower is delish. Just make sure you drain as much liquid off as you can. Get a cheese cloth if possible so after you cook thr cauliflower, you wring out excess moisture. Boil it, drain, mash with salt, pepper, butter, and if you want to add other high fats such as cheese and sour cream, even carb free bacon, its like a loaded mashed potato but I think it tastes even better. Also you can use the mashed cauliflower to make shepherds pie, and therr are recipes to make pizza crust from it.
The raw minced meat is called "Met", we usually eat it on bread with onions, salt and pepper. And what you likely got wasn't raw at all. but treated and cured with salt.

I did a low carb high fat diet. I lost 32kg in 8 months and felt so energized and slept really well. My carb intake is now 50g per day. I went to a special diet clinic though. It really works and I have not put on any weight since then. Its been a year and half now and continuing...

Keto has made me lose my appetite! Now that I’m fueling off fat, maybe I’m not hungry because my body sees my excess body weight as fuel now. This is a good thing since I’m practically obese.
You lost glycogen and water. Glycogen binds water, so when you start a low carb/ keto diet you will always lose quite a bit of weight at the beginning. However a ketogenic diet is supoptimal for performance and calories still matter. Also eat some veggies dude. lol

It's impossible to only eat eat fat, that means you need to chug on oil 24/7
The only thing that is key for losing weight is a calorie deficit. I don’t matter what you eat as long as you burn more calories than you eat. But in long term i don’t think keto is healthy , you can lose weight but you are lacking in vitamins and minerals!
Good keto diets incorporate a lot more low carb cruciferous vegetables like broccoli. Calorie in Calorie out is technically true but hormone balance and how your body utilizes energy for that calorie out is much more important. Which is why keto diets are a thing now. There's a long biochemical explanation that gets into the metabolic pathways of lipids vs carbohydrates that would explain this but it's easy to find online. Never to late to educate yourself on good eating

I’m actually doing this right now, the side effects im having is fatigue, diarrhea (sorry), and poor focus. But dont worry just for a couple of days, and stay hydrated during the process.
Also yes, doing this diet makes you hungry all the time but i suggest start your meal noon to 8 pm.

If anyone is interested in this Ive been doing a no carb diet and I’ve been losing crazy amounts of weight. And I’m not feeling any weaker or anything. And all my docs are saying I’m good. I’ve been doing it for about a month and a half, my beginning weight was 273 and now I’m at 244 (weighed last week) but I eat a lot smaller portions. If you’re going to do this I recommend that you find out how to make cauliflower bread because there’s no carbs and it’s actually really good.
Does anyone know where the list of food you can eat in this diet is? I’m kinda interested...

I notice with any diet that isn't balanced, nothing seems to satiate hunger. If you feel hungry all the time especially after a big meal, then your body is actively seeking nutrients you are missing.

You're pretty slim, don't need to lose weight, no? Also for healthy keto you need ~7 cups of leafy greens per day for vitamins, minerals, electrolytes. And you're eating too often which causes insulin spikes. Eat 1-2 meals with lots of healthy fats.

Kenton there’s something called good fats or unsaturated fats. Apparently your body burns fats so it also does automatically burns fats inside the arteries (cholestrol) go research before commenting on someone’s video like a 5 year old kid.
I'd like you to cite some research beyond google and wikipedia. Yes there are god fats and bad fats, I'm talking about cholesterol. Kenton bro cut your theory bullshit. Last 4 months before i went to the gym regularly, my cholestrol are around 30 points over the normal ones, i started exercising, I lost weight , ate semi crap foods, last month i checked and it’s all completely normal. What now?
If you're saying that your total cholesterol points are 30 above 200 mg/dl which is considered a safety level, you seriously need to look into cholesterol a bit more. Trusting your doctor for everything they say isn't right. I'm sure you have an argument or everything, I'm just saying this, for your own good, and everyone out there, eating a 'balanced' diet of protein, carbs and fats are a huge misconception. Remember, the food pyramid is from the 90's and they have yet to update it... why? Animal agriculture will fail significantly, loss of the $$$, and multiple other factors. For your own good, and your heart and your future... look into plant-based nutrition. I used to be close minded like you, then I started doing some research.
