  • A day in the life of a Japanese waitress in Tokyo working at a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. This is a typical work day for a waitress in the Japanese food industry and the typical working hours in Japan. This is a look inside of Japanese work culture in Japanese restaurants. Working in Japan is quite unique and depending on the industry may be a bit different from job to job, but many of the jobs also share similar characteristics. The video follows Yuki in her typical japan work day from morning until the evening and everything that happens in between at work. She arrives at the teppanyaki restaurant when it opens and leaves when it closes, very typical for Japanese restaurants. Yuki is a waitress at Pandora, a Teppanyaki restaurant, Japanese style flat grill, which has been a local favorite since 1972 serving Kobe beef steaks and teppanyaki course meals. During her time working as a full-time waitress, she learned the importance of reading and anticipating the customers needs and acting beforehand. It’s a strong part of a Japanese omotenashi culture, a deep and honest form of hospitality, treating customers with respect without asking for anything in return. So for her, even a smile from her customers brings her true joy. One of the main reasons why in Japan tips at the end of the meal are very uncustomary. This among other things shared in this video is what makes working in Japan as a waitress very unique experience.

I am half Japanese and worked at a Japanese restaurant during high school. I was the same - I served tables, made drinks and dessert, dishwasher, and kitchen hand. Maybe it's a part of Japanese restaurant culture. I know that in the US, the roles seem to be a lot more segmented - e.g. a hostess and a server would have very different roles. Quite interesting

managing her own business is a tall order,
not only you pigeonhole yourself into a multi million dollar debt to establish your business,
you also somehow have to figure out how to attract customer, and make food that people actually like.
not to mention, owning a restaurant business mean that you no longer have any private time left.
you should work harder than any normal human, or else,
those Rent, Electricity and Payroll gonna haunt you in your sleep.

Exterminating The Yakusa presence and their activities in the country would be considerably profitable for the Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel. The goal is to initiate their expansion over the Yakusa in Australia and to push it as far as in Japan. According to their plans, they are and will be supported by the Sinaloa Cartel for a part of the gains obtained and it would be done by the end of 2023. They told their mens to prioritize the capture, mostly for torture and interrogation before killing and for selling but to kill right away if they can not capture. This is what members having close ties with Hells Angels chapter leaders are talking about. Some members of the Hells Angels and of the Sinaloa Cartel had already start moving to Australia. The mens had been told to get the job done by any means, even by mass killing if needed. I'm currently working here in Japan for 4 months with the same job as her, but we are called "company employees (shain)". Not just "waitress". Our workload is very similar and NORMAL here in Japan. It's really hard but I'm glad that we're actually well-compensated here. What I earn here per hour is equivalent to what I earn in PH per day. So yeah, it's worth it, just tiring, very tiring :(

Beef was premium, and nothing was overly complicated that could take away from the Wagyu center piece. It was the most expensive meal we had in our Japan trip (less than what we'd pay in the States) but well worth the experience.

In the Philippines, working beyond your usual tasks shows "MALASAKIT". It generally means that you show compassion and care for whatever it is you're doing and who you are doing it for. It's amazing to see how humble service workers have ingrained this virtue despite the taxing workload.

The Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel heads are having talks while you are reading this about their growth in Australia and in Asia. If you are directly involved let your comrades know so you can be prepared for what is happening before it is too late to prevent the bloodbath and your fall !

One of the Greatest things about Japanese education is the cleanliness they're taught and the respect for someone else's efforts, like cultivating vegetables and dairy so you don't have to do it. I actually love this about any culture and our country really needs to get on the same boat. It's hard process for overly privileged kids but its possible and we can start with the parents, by making them more assertive and less afraid of their childrens backlashing
