slim pickins It’s been pretty nice so far! Still just cruising at 60 - 65, but it’ll climb up the steepest mountain if I need it. I still say my favorite motor was my first 1600. That took me everywhere and never made me think twice about it. Sadly it burned on a hot day when my intake seal broke and made cylinders 3 and 4 run lean.
The valve lash on a normal engine I believe should be around .006 . The engine builder for this particular engine told me to set it at .002, but I wouldn't recommend that for all engines. Valves that are too tight could lead to burned valve seats if the engine gets hot.
Now i get why that trip to North Carolina was such a breeze! Thats one sweet motor you got there!!
