It looks just like my truck except I have a 2023. I was going to step up to the new model until I started hearing that GM is going to produce an 8.3 liter v-8. If they do there will be one attached to my gooseneck.
Best possible traction is what I think you meant lol but that is a lot of towing this truck can pull wow
LOL so true sometimes I guess it can help save you fuel as you don't have to be driving around in 4x4.

It’s a nice holiday hauler. Has GMC done anything to upgrade the reliability of the engine and transmission for people who have to use a duly on a daily basis??
Tony the Duramax Diesel and Allision Transmission are the top rated for reliability in 2500/3500 class of trucks. The duly isn't any more or less reliable than a SRW (Singer Rear Wheel) what are you referring to?
Great review, 1 comment with trailer rhetorical questions & 1 question >> One thing no one is talking about is the amount of damage that will be done to the tailgate if you have a hitch installed in the receiver, be it, a weight distribution (some swear by it even with a dually), or a normal shank... when/if the gate is told to drop, it doesn't care if either is there... it lands on the hitch and causes thousands of dollars in damage to the tailgate!!! Really?? No one has looked into that??? ----- On the buttons in the dash with keep assist, engine brake etc... on the far right... there is a "wide" non version switch... is there some option that is supposed to be there that can be ordered?
I have responded to a comment similar to this in the past. First off great question and yes it can be expensive to fix physical body damage. We have only had one customer drop their tailgate down to a adjustable high hitch and they dented and scratched the endgame and it costs them just under $300 to get the dent pulled and the scrap fixed and panel repainted.

I currently have a 2017 ram gas 2500 towing a 10k 34 ft camper. I’m looking to upgrade to a 2024 GMC Denali gas 3500 SRW with the 373 gears and 10 spd tranny. 17,800 tow capacity. The fifth wheel would be about 13,000 pounds dry.
I only tow about a dozen times a year or less. I live in New England.
I didn’t want to get a diesel because I was concerned about my driving habits as I only drive about 12 miles to get to work from home. I’ve read that the diesel wouldn’t get hot enough and would eventually go into limp mode because of the frequent short trips. my question is does anyone see any concerns with this potential set up and does anyone have experience towing with the Sierra 3500 gas srw?
We have a few customers who are towing cattle to the feed lots and they are driving gas 3500's. The Gas is a great choice but honestly short trips won't hurt your Duramax but it will need to regen more often because of the short trips so you might once or twice per year see a msg on your DIC (Driver Info Center) saying keep driving regen cleaning your DPF filter this takes maybe 12 minutes. So don't be scared of buying a Duramax if your only doing short trips. I'd probably go Gas as the reason to go Diesel is for all the extra towing and or PTO.
I just watching this video and did I hear you say that the 3500 H D comes in AT4?!!!! I have ask other salespeople and no one has told me if it does.

11:17 exactly!! I don't hear a lot of reviewers or even owners talk about how the cab configuration has a lot to do with hitting that my 36k towing number. GMC doesn't even talk about cab configureation numbers on their site! it's kinda misleading. Nice to hear you say that.

Good review but expected the review of driving experience.
Great point but this isn't really a sales video its giving you a high level overview of the features and such of the vehicle. I manage this dealership and I don't want to be some cheesy salesmen/manager trying to sell cars on UA-cam, it wasn't what I wanted to accomplish. Do you notice I don't show my face...I'm easy on the eyes lol but its not about me or selling you a shirt its about getting great info off to potential customers and encourage customers like yourself to drive it at your local store or if your close to us come see us.

We beat them in price, we beat them with AutoTrac Auto 4WD, we beat them with G80 Automatic locking differential, we beat them with more towing in a CREWCAB configuration, we beat them with independent front suspension, we beat them in TOWING & PAYLOAD in a CREWCAB configuration, we beat them in Fuel Economy ratings, we beat them in reliability...So to RECAP we WIN in real world truck configurations.

Let me ask you one question that I hope you answer honestly do you own a RegCab 4x2 truck? Because we have sold 2 in the past 10 years. But we have sold thousands of CREWCAB 4x4's.
@@WesternGMDrumheller fair points. I guess I was comparing the f450 crew cab. I didn't articulate that in my original post. I'm in the US. So you're saying the 3500 4x4 drw is better in every way than an f450 4x4 drw? I'll have to look more into this because those GMCs are niiiice looking.
