@A real bisexual petrol-head bcuz the grills in pickup trucks actually look good, you fucking edgelord

Doug I must say that I really appreciate the little subtitles with the metric units. You put extra effort in the tiny details and they don't go unnoticed.
He puts it in millimeters though which pretty much nobody would use to measure the dimensions of a car... would be better if he did meters (there are 1000 millimeters in a meter)
Max Rosmuller the conversion from millimeters to meters it’s easy tho
Gotta say that this works for 98% of all countries besides the U, S and A.
1+ I
As an Australian who also appreciates the imperial system its great to learn the equivalences
Doug: What is the towing capacity of this version?
GMC salesman: It's over 9000!!!!
I'm old enough to remember when GM made commercials making fun of Ford for designing the first tailgate step….
They made fun recently of Ford using Aluminum Then proceeded to copy Ford
I also remember when GM made trucks that were worth a shit, boy what a time to be alive.
It wasnt really necessary back then, now with how much higher a modern pickup sits up off the ground, it kind of is necessary unless you are 7 ft tall.
I remember when GM made fun of Ford for offering a turbo V6 in the half ton pickup. Now GM offers one. GM is always a few steps behind.
@RpM_Evan Also when the xbox 360 was making fun of the Playstation 3 for having Blu-ray instead of HD-DVDs, and now the Xbox one (and Series X) will have Blu-Ray pre-installed. Companies make fun of their competitors until they realized they're gonna do the same. 🤣🤣🤣

As a Canadian, in Canada, with some cities that get lots of snow, and looking at a “heavy duty” truck with control arm front ends, that block heater on the front valiance is hands down in the worst position imaginable.
How come? I'm from the south so I've never experienced snow before or anything that requires a block heater.
@@RedAssassin274 because usually in select places up here, along with some northern states, when traveling along back roads or areas where the roads aren't always plowed, it's not uncommon for the snow to be high enough to rip the valiance's off these trucks.
@@rexmilanista Great point in my opinion.

Go for used 20-30k miles. Diesels last forever. The price diff from new to slightly used is stupid.
Ken Smok Still too expensive though. Ive had diesels under 150k miles and spent a lot of money on replacement parts. I bought a new powerstroke in 2005 for 34,000. Cant bring myself to spend double that for a new truck that isn’t even made as well
@@Range-X its pretty crazy what they have done to the price I agree. They know that these construction crews can afford it but it ultimately hurts normal people. 2005 probably still running like a champ.
Ken Smok yep and because the layman can’t afford a new one the used market is inflated
Ken Smok Sold it running good at 230k. However bought a used 2006 6.0 with 165k and in a short period spent more than I’d like to admit keeping that engine running. Never know with previous owners.

Clever boy. And dummies he is not talking about height
He's 6'3" and requires no less than 2 shirts.
"You can see my head, next to this grille for scale, and it is massively, insanely large and upright, which only projects it's hugeness even more."
Come on now Doug, your head isn't that big.
There's a rather substantial amount of hot air in Doug's head...so I'm siding with Doug's measurement.
Nice car but the interior is a joke. Really ugly for 82k 🤮🤮
It's more of a 70k dollar truck. MSRP isn't even accurate to what the out the door price will be.
@@dedalliance1 fr my mother's terrain was supposed to go like 25k but my mother got it for 20k
You're not buying it for the interior............. You buy it to drive it forever with good maintenance and tow the shit out of stuff. These aren't luxury sports cars.
@@kensmok6045 You don't get it - you can get what you listed for half the price or 50k at the most, but for over 80 one expects more...
Tc4ify no sir I think you have no idea! Find me a crew cab Hd diesel truck that’s 4wd for anywhere close to $50k! This isn’t 2007, theses trucks cost about $10k more then there gas engine counterparts just because of the towing capabilities. You’d be hard pressed to get a brand new diesel crew cab 4wd non work trim truck for under 60k new from any manufacturer.
