  • #239. The VIRAL HEART Technique MEETS Resin
    In todays Resin Art video, we try the viral flashing heart technique using cat eye gel and a paper clip! I love that we can bring nail art to resin art in so many different ways and this is a prime example.
    Do I now try and create this on a bigger resin art scale?
    @EmilySusanah
    Here is Emily's video, honestly, Emily explains it so well, if you get stuck, be sure to check it out!

      @charlottemckedy5671 7 місяців тому +4

      I was just getting ready to send text saying soak of with pure acetone. Another way you will need tin foil,cotton balls and pure acetone. Get 10 cotton balls saturate with acetone squeeze out just so cotton balls aren't dripping wet,put one cotton ball on each fingernail and take a piece of tin foil wrap it around cotton ball and finger and crimp/squeeze foil so cotton ball stays on fingernail,leave on until polish soften and wipe off...re wet cotton balls with acetone if needed. With this method you aren't stuck sitting/waiting with fingers in a bowl of acetone,you are mobil with the cotton ball,foil,acetone method😊.

    • @charlottemckedy5671
      @charlottemckedy5671 7 місяців тому +3

      Peeling off or filing off isn't good for your nails. You can file through nail to nail bed quicker than you think. Soak off is the best way.😊

    • @firemoonredtalon9487

      Filing is fine as long as you don't file the nail itself, just removing the color is fine.

    I love the nails, but if you really want them off it will be a little work. First, rough up the shine with a nail file. Then soak in pure acetone for about 5-10 mins. Check nails and push any of the gel off with an orangewood stick. If there is still residue, repeat from roughing up with the nail file, resoak, push gel off.... It takes awhile sometimes. Whatever you do, don't pull or chip off the gel polish. It will surely tear up your nail bed.

    I use magnetic polish on my nails all the time. I’m going to try this heart shape next time. To remove the gel polish, soak cotton wool in acetone; put them on your nails and wrap in aluminum foil. The gel polish will soak off

    I like the nails. You should keep them on to see how long it lasts before chipping. You should really get some eye liner too though. Boys need kohl, especially with nails 🖤

    Why should having the magnet in a plastic holder ( that one must buy) cause the product to then work?

      If you want the best results, you need to follow others advice 😁 Check the video I mentioned also, I want users to have the best results, as mentioned, I tried the other magnet with bad results

    To remove the polish, you need to file off the shine, put acetone on some cotton and put on nails with foil to soak. You can then gently scrape it odd. Gently.

    Love this effect, going to try it, found a set on line. The gel nail polish may come off with a good soak in warm water.
