Love this Mrs Barbara, that blue is stunning💙 I have been trying to get a milkglass look and that is very close to what you have achieved, so I have to give it a try with more of a transparent white. Thanks for sharing -Beverly
I love your videos. I just started doing resin projects just about 6 months ago. I've had cataract surgery recently so I can't do anything right now. Just thought I'd throw out a little secret I use when trying to get bubbles out of my resin and to get it to settle into the small niches. I've got an ultrasonic cleaner. Once I get my mold poured I actually set it in or on my ultrasonic cleaner. Then turn it on. Dry of course. No specific time. Ijust check every few minutes. What that does is help get bubbles to rise to the top it also helps settle resin into those small little places that it might not flow into. It works very very well. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Great videos. New subscriber. See you on the next one.😊
Thanks so much for the tip Wade! I'll be sure to try that. The one I have is quite small but maybe I can try it on a small jewelry mold first. What brand and size is the cleaner you use? I hope you're recovering from your cataract surgery well and thank you so much for watching! ♡
@resinnut9335 I had a small jewelry one that I would actually open the lid and set the mold on top on a flat surface and turn it on it works pretty much the same way. That little one just wore out cuz I've had it so long. I've got a 2 L size off of Amazon not sure of the brand. Little pricey but I got plenty of use out of it with both cleaning and shaking the bubbles out. And thank you. I'm doing fine. My eyes are healing. I see better now than I have in 50 years. Take care.
So love these plates. I thought I preferred the plum, but the blue was even better. To me it was as if you had captured the ocean in the rim of plate. It would be lovely to see other people's creations too. There are many talented people and the fact that you could be responsible for teaching one of them would be fascinating to find out. Thank you so much. I love to watch, but am not at all one of those lucky people.❤❤👵🏴🌹🌹🌹
Thank you Angela! I was thinking the same about the ocean.. I might have to try it! 🤔 You'd be surprised what creativity you're hiding inside! haha. Don't be afraid to experiment! ❤️
Don’t worry about a reply, I know it hard to get a comment to every person. I just ordered my cake plate mold, so as as it arrives I’m making one too. Beautiful color! 😊
Thank you so much Susie! Yes, I really like the one I have now. I bought it at Home Depot here in the U.S. It's at my studio and will grab the info on it later today! You'll want want that is for VOCs. Not just particles. :)

I'd love to see it if you make one Beverly! Milk glass would be fun to re-create!

I enjoy watching you! Is there an air purifier that you recommend for working with resin?

According to the resin instructions on a bottle about fifty drops per ml.
If you leave the white to set up in those heart ends , then pour in your translucent blue…i think you work out better, JMO.
I agree! I was just thinking about that too. ❤️. Thank you and always feel free to give me your thoughts like that.. I really appreciate it.
Pretty
Thank you Susan! 😊
