Good news: I messed making this recipe the first time I did it, but in doing so I ended up making the best scrambled eggs of my life!
HAHA I did that many times!!
Awesome
Happy little accident
For those who aren't confident in flipping the egg, you can take the pan and flip it upside down on a plate, so the top part of the omelet is now on the bottom of the plate. Then slide the omelet off the plate back onto the pan so the bottom can seal.
Great tip!!
YO BRO THANKS FOR THAT I'm doing this for a project in school much appreciated my guy
What if the oil spills though? :(
> Gently invert the egg onto the rice
*BLOP*
there's so much "sunday afternoon before labor day" energy in this video.
I find it strange that I'm watching this the Sunday before Memorial Day
thanks so much for this vid! my mom left me and my dad for a week due to a business trip. and me and my dad can’t cook for the life of us but this tutorial recipe was rlly delicious and easy for me to make, thanks again!
That makes me so happy to hear!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
A good video to watch to really get the egg technique is the jacques pepin's omelette technique. It doesn't take much to master omelette, it's just about a few days of serious practice
I just made this and it was great! Thanks so much.
So excited to try this demiglace! It's taken me about seven tries to get the egg part right.
I very much appreciate the camera angles in this vid. Very informative.
(Also I love your choice of music! I love listening to bossa whenever I do groceries and cook!)
I did it! I can't believe I did it my first try! Thank you so much for your video.😄😊🎉
succeeded on my first try! this was so yummy, and your explanation was suuuper helpful! i used a spatula to turn the egg in fear of breaking the omelette, but it all worked out. thank you for the recipe :)))
That looks super yummy!😋
You make it look so easy. I tried it today and my egg ended up semi scrambled hahaha going to keep trying till I get it as perfect as yours. Thanks for the recipe!
3 years later, messed it up first time but eventually was able to perfect it. great recipe and tutorial!
Looks yummy i will try it soon
Excellent technique. Very well done.
Im so excited to try this tomorrow looks delicious
Update: Everything was absolutely delicious👌😄
I'm so happy to hear that!! I would love to see your creation so please send me a DM on Instagram @manghoshomekitchen!
Looks very delicious 🤤😍
Thank you! I've been looking for a recipe for the specific omurice sauce. I made omurice for the first time last night. Not wanting to put ketchup on eggs or rice I whipped-up a quick teriyaki sauce that worked really well! But I will try this sauce recipe tomorrow. Again, THANK YOU!
Ooh thanks for this idea, I hate ketchup and wanted to ease my way into the recipe because it has alot of things I havent tried yet
맛있는 오무라이스 레시피 잘 배웠습니다
You deserved more subs! I have always wanted to eat omurice but now I can make one myself. Thank you!
That makes me so happy to hear! Hope you give it a try!
this looks like the easiest way to do it, I'll comment back after the weekend!
Thank you for the amazing recipe! Hope we will have a video focusing on doing the egg alone, it looks so cool but i'm scared of messing it up 😆
beautiful recipe
와 이분 잘하시네 반으로 가를때 촥ㅡ펴지는게 쾌감이
That egg flip was masterful!
It took me MANY times to get it right!! 😭
Amazing as always !
Thank you so much Max!
I just now wanted to do it and first time it looks like a pond but very good
Omg this was sooooo delicious
Great tutorial!
yum it looks so perfect!!
Thank you so much!!♥️
This comment is a little late, but I just want to say that this video was very helpful. It was the only one that actually helped me cooked the Omurice for my family. You deserve such a bigger platform :)
Thank you so much that makes me so happy to hear!!
just tried this and it was amazing!! i hated the demiglace by itself, but with the egg it actually was pretty good!!
Hey Maam ive been watching ur vids and ive been enjoying them.
im just curious...how much time does it take to cook the ommelette?
Thank you for making this. So much better for a homecook than the Munchies version. The whole thing was just a giant flex about his skills. Also he called for more eggs than for a single person just to eye-ball a single serving...
I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! It was super hard to learn, but hopefully it helped!
Im 🤤 drooling
Looks soooo gooood!
Amy Kim it was so delicious 🥰♥️ thank you for watching!!!
This is AWESOME 🤤❤️
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Messed up on my first attempt! But I will be trying again soon!
that is one amazing omurice 😀
Thank you! It's definitely my favorite type of omurice 💖
totally gonna try this
Anurupa Dhamala awesome!!! Hope you love it
I love this video!! Do you know if this would work with a pan that’s not non-stick?
Thank you so much for watching! I highly recommend using a nonstick pan for this. I tried without one and it was a disaster😂
I'm in love
It's looks amazing, i've definitely to try it ^_^
GNAM ITALIAN RECIPES awesome!! Hope you love it ♥️
Sadly I'm working with an electric coil stove, but I'll keep trying. The egg part is really tough to get right. Your video did a great job explaining everything!
Omg so yummy
🥲💜
Yummmmm gonna try this!
Hope you enjoy!!
@@MangosHomeKitchen this video rustled my jimmies
Your recipe is so delicious I just made it and me & my husband love it 😍
im going to try that here at my country😊❤
Lookss soooo good! Do you have any suggestions for substitutes for the beef stock in the sauce? I'm trying to transition to a less beef diet :) Thanks!
I would suggest vegetable broth or chicken broth! 😊
Yummy, i will try cook that
I hope you love it!!
hey! i wanna make this recipe soon, is it okay if i use chicken stock/broth instead?
It's very much like a french omelet and those are tough too... It looks amazing though, I'm only recently noticing I've been overcooking eggs my whole life!
😋This looks delicious‼️
GOOD👍️✨
Thank you 😋

I also watched other videos.
😍You and the cat are cute.
🔔I subscribed to the channel.
Thank you.
Of course, she could be Korean. They sometimes look similar to my eyes. Still, cute and a delicious looking recipe. I will be making this.
what if we dont have worcestershire sauce? is there a different alternative?
This is really great do we really need milk for the eggs because I don't really like them
Ok how do you flip the egg without busting it? And how did you even folding the end of it without the less cooked yolk flooding over the flap?
Maam can I get a good tip for making one
I've try making the egg for about 15 times and I'm trying again after watching this video. FINALLY I MADE IT GUYS!!
Omg this makes me SO HAPPY to hear 💗💗 Isn’t it so satisfying when you finally get it?!
">_
Can u tell me which size is the pan for the egg omelette???
Can i skip the oyster sauce if i domt have any?
What's the green garnish at the end?
You are awesome
Thank you for the kind words!!
I wanna make that recipe but its very hard for me about one recipe from the omurice sauce the beef broth i don't know TvT
Can you list the ingredients you used for the sauce?
Does red wine work with this demiglace?
How long did it take for you to get this good at making this ;-; i tried and failed miserably ^^; but it tasted good anyways
It took me MANY tries to get this perfect. Over the course of two days!
Add a little more cream (I like to use heavy cream) to your eggs and they will have a smoother texture and they won't brown as fast. Also, try adding a pat of butter to your oil. Butter makes everything better lol. Your rice looks so delicious!
How many servings would this recipe make?
Hello i have a question. What kind of milk?
Why does 5 dislikes ??bruh it's a really cool video😭💕
Thank you for the kind words!! 🤗✨
Hi
Can I ask a question
I couldn't throughly hear the ingredients for the sauce
So can u type it instead please?
Could I practice making this using 2 eggs only? Or is it necessary to stick to 4 eggs?
I would definitely use 3-4 eggs so that there is enough substance to be rolled into the omelette and pour out!
For the sauce, what kind of ketchup did you use? Banana or tomato? Also, can I substitute honey with brown sugar?
Traditionally omurice is made with tomato ketchup.
But where in the world do you get banana ketchup?? I've never heard of that, but it sounds amazing!
bro I think I fell in love. lol.
Omurice recipe.. ✖️
Best scrambled eggs recipe … ✔️✔️✔️
How do you make it look so easy?? 🤤
It took LOTS of practice 😭
Great job!! I can't wait to try ur recipe! I keep messing up the egg part tho 😭
Ting Liu awww thank you! I’m thinking about making another video in the future going over just the egg part. It’s definitely very hard to learn initially 😭 good news is, it still tastes good regardless
hi im learning this recipe but i keep running into a problem: the egg keeps breaking apart. when I'm trying to fold the egg on itself, it just does not want to stay in one piece. the chopstick always rips the egg no matter how gentle I try to do it and in the end it just breaks off into small chunks or sometimes i just carve lines into the egg. how do i fix this?
Hello! The key really is in the nonstick pan and having enough oil at the right temperature!
Is it also possible with a induction cooking field?😅
I haven't tried it yet, but I think it could be done!
My cousin has a kitten in that exact shade of ginger and his name is Mango too! 😂
Aww I love that 😍😍
What is the green powder which is put in the last?
Parsley flakes!
you make it look easy but I know it definitely wouldn't be easy for me 😂
days with ev the egg technique definitely takes some practice, but it still tastes good if it doesn’t look perfect 😋
Any tips on the egg part ? 😅😅
It takes a lot of practice, but you NEED a nonstick pan and you have to make sure to control the heat (very hot pan in the beginning, but bring the heat down towards the end)
I already know I’m going to fail at this 20 times but I’m going to do it anyway
shimmy it definitely takes some practice but you’ll get it!! Let me know if you need any tips ❤️❤️
Can i just use low heat until the end?
You could, but you just want to make sure the whole thing is sealed, and not to overcook the center.
I have a question? What if I don't have a Beef Broth, what can I use?
You can use chicken broth, vegetable broth, or water!
I wish i had a pan as non stick as that but the ones that work are at least $100. Im too broke for that and have only 2 non stick pots, so pots it is
Are there any other sauces which can replace Worcestershire sauce and oyster sauce?
Hello! You could try substituting with a mixture of soy sauce, ketchup and hoisin!
for one tablespoon of worcestershire sauce you can replace it with one tablespoon of soy sauce, half a tablespoon of vinegar and half a tablespoon of sugar
Question:for the egg making, is chopsticks supposed to be used instead of using other utensils? Like,, can I use a fork or a whisk instead? Sadly I don't have chopsticks

Can you please make a tutorial of making those eggs, they look so gorgeous and I messed up to many times xD
I’m working on getting a video of just the egg technique up soon ☺️💗💗
I actually managed to do it but then the pan had gripped on to the egg too much that it burst open then turned into scrambled eggs.
I'm frustrated. My sauce didn't thicken like I though it would. The roux was perfect then when I added the beef broth it became to watery. Maybe I should only put a cup next time.
I just ended up making scrambled eggs
😂😂 I did that many times
imagine how many eggs I should ruin to make this
I've already tried about 60 eggs and never made it😔 I think I just don't have cooking skill lol
@@vynnaalviolina125yeah same here :(

I've try make the Ommelete And i messed Up cause it's so hard
It is SUPER difficult and I messed up many times - still delicious though!
i love cooking so much, but after making this as my first attempt, i felt like a failure 😭
I wish I could find an omurice recipe that doesn't require ketchup since I'm allergic to it....it looks so good but I guess I'll never be able to try it unless I want to deal with severe stomach pain and hives
I think you can replace the ketchup with something similar that’s sweet
Hello Yoseline! I think you could replace the ketchup with oyster sauce!
