For those of us who have read star wars for years you know that those billions were just the ones on the top few tiers of coroscant. Imagine how many in the lower depths were killed but not thought about because nobody thinks about the lower dwellers. Billions upon billions were probably killed and never accounted for because nobody cared for those down in the depths of the city.
Most of the sources say that the population is from 1-10 trillion, but I think it could be above a quadrillion. Coruscant’s diameter is like 30% larger than Earth’s, and is densely populated planet-wide. But like you said, you have the lower layers, which I believe go all the way down to the 5000s. Each as dense as those above it (though only the top few thousand may be populated). I’d bank on 1-10 quadrillion instead. Plus it’s a cooler number.
@@achtungingActually, I believe the levels go all the way UP to past 5000. I’m almost positive the surface of the planet is level 0. Which also brings up an interesting perspective, at least for me. One doesn’t dig down to get to the lower levels; one climbs upwards from the surface to the highest levels. Which is crazy when you estimate how ‘tall’ a level is. Is a level 20m thick? 30m? 100? Just picture 100m per level, that’s about 50,000m, or around 150,000 feet! Crazy! Consider a jet airliner cruises at around 35,000 feet, or over 10,000m! I think the Jedi Temple is built around the peak of a mountaintop. So maybe 100m per level is way to high. Maybe 30m is more (laf) realistic.

Makes you wonder about the construction logistics of such a feat. I’m picturing an open world Star Wars game where each layer of coruscant is procedurally generated, maybe like 100 layers “down” from level 0 (surface level)

Dude, my mind was blown when I first got to that scene in the audio book. And it all was because a moronic Sith Lord that thought he was big and bad, tried to invade Abeloth's dreams. And that one fucko screwed everything up for the rest of Vestara's group.
If I remember right, she cracked the surface of the planet, turning Coruscant’s deep artificial canyons into rivers of lava. Not just isolated to the capital district, but across the whole planet. And the more fearful people that she had and the more Force sensitives that she had to feed on, the more powerful she would get. Those deaths directly fueled her. The devastation suffered by Coruscant was just the beginning. This is way I think that there must be a Chosen One to keep the Balance, as that balance is the only thing which keeps chaos (which Abeloth had become the personification of) at bay. And why I think that Force sensitives were transported from across the Galaxy to Tython by the Tho Yor Mortis pyramid ships 36,000 years earlier. Without the combined efforts of the Ones, or the unified alliance of powerful Force sensitives representing both the light and the dark, or without removing Force sensitives from known space, Abeloth would be unstoppable.
I wish we could’ve seen the Bedlam Spirits or Force Priestesses intervene and try to stop Abeloth because I believe that they along with Grandmaster Luke and Darth Krayt, would be able to actually kill her once and for all
I hope dinsey never touches Legends and TOR. It’d be nice if they licensed it out to other film studios, and just let it be completely discrete from their disaster.
It could be interesting if Dave lets Abeloth still destroy Coruscant, making it to where the New Republic has to adopt the policy of rotating the galactic capital.

Being a city-planet, or planet-city, I’d think it would have to be, especially with all the levels. Heck, the levels are about as tall as the crust is deep!
It's very difficult to maintain coherence in a lore as complex as Star Wars. The most basic thing that should have been established from the beginning was the TOTAL artificial control of this planet. This would prevent something as predictable as a natural disaster from happening. Everything should be controlled to the point that rain only falls when requested. The idea of countless abandoned levels also doesn't make sense because an incalculable amount of evil literally beneath your feet is not a smart thing to ignore. One of the first things I thought was that the lower levels are simply a perfect place for a Sith hideout and a myriad of other terrible things that sooner or later would claim the surface.
Aside from anakin though he doesn't Directly have the Power of creation which is something that the Bedlum Spirits have an Unimaginable capability to Create Life
Don't think that would work out in this case, Abeloth is shown to be so clingy and needy that if you tried to leave after showcasing any affection you and the star system you are on would implode.

Think of Abeloth as a galaxy or universal wide nuke if that nuke explodes everything in that galaxy (potentially universe) dies that's why the son the daughter had to keep on imprisoning her in the maw every few thousand years (the maw is Abeloth's prison)

This is the part of legends which I felt went too far off the deep end. Creating someone like Abeloth is fine, but making it OP time 1000 is too much. In my opinion I look upon it as lazy writing on top of lack of imagination. Why do research into a antagonist who must come up with a mind numbing and brilliant strategy filled with awe striking tactics (which must be overcome) when you can create an OP character who just flicks their finger? Then make up some people and pick locations to use it on and bang... story done. Then come up with an equally boring method of dispelling it or what have you.
You know? Yeah, I agree. It seemed like the trend started with Vitiate, Nihlus, Starkiller, Sidious, this Rey character I guess. I’m fairly new to SW, but I was very happy that Revan was the most powerful character I had read about up to that time. But I started losing interest when things got ridiculous.

Its sad they never explored how Abeloth found someone who would love her, how she brought him or her, to another area of the universe and built their own galaxy, only to see him age and start to die. The one issue that took her from her original family. Giving her partner the choice of drinking and bathing in the similar force nexuses, her partner declines - to allow fate to complete his death. The alternative is for both to die, as natural order is restored, or Abeloth after her grief, also accepts fate and fades into the natural order. Abeloth is a tragic character, for me like Medusa. Its sad this story doesn't have a non-violent, malicious ending.
I would think that Coruscant would've had the Technology to Stop Normal Earthquakes completely given the Milenia Of constant Technological Advancements though could they have stopped the Earthquakes Aboloth made if given the Chance

From what I read daily, a team of True Ultra Instinct Goku, Ultimate Beast Gohan, Ultra Ego Vegeta, Full Power Broly, Beerus, Timeskip Boruto, Adult Sasuke, Adult Naruto, Momoshiki, Isshiki, Shinra Kusakabe and of course the Skywalker family would easily outmatch Abeloth. All of the characters I just named according to their databooks are each Multiversal Powered. Meaning they can easily destroy universes. Wonder how fast they'd dominate her. Well I say ALL, but I don't think the Skywalker family are that powerful, but they'd still be able to help since this would be their home galaxy and they'd have knowledge of it enough to be useful so that the anime/manga characters wouldn't destroy literally EVERYTHING 😂

Why was she on Coruscaunt?
This is the part of legends which I felt went too far off the deep end. Creating someone like Abeloth is fine, but making it OP time 1000 is too much. In my opinion I look upon it as lazy writing on top of lack of imagination.
Why do research into a antagonist who must come up with a mind numbing and brilliant strategy filled with awe striking tactics (which must be overcome) when you can create an OP character who just flicks their finger? Then make up some people and pick locations to use it on and bang... story done. Then come up with an equally boring method of dispelling it or what have you.
You know? Yeah, I agree. It seemed like the trend started with Vitiate, Nihlus, Starkiller, Sidious, this Rey character I guess. I’m fairly new to SW, but I was very happy that Revan was the most powerful character I had read about up to that time. But I started losing interest when things got ridiculous.

@@jakealter5504we don’t know the full potential of Anakin, although we know Anakin and Luke same the full potential. Luke said she was 12 times more powerful than him, but we don’t know if he was at his full potential at that time and if Luke ever reach his full power which Luke probably did but I doubt it was during her time when she was fighting Luke.
@@jakealter5504I will say She is 4-6x stronger than Anakin full potential however Anakin Mortis WBW is different than his human form potential. The Son And Daughter and ofc The Father was not just strong because of there connection of the Force but also because of there Race. Also we can see this when Anakin was on Mortis, despite Anakin full potential being more stronger than The Son and Daughter how come When Luke was on his full potential he could not touch a lightsaber or use the force like the son or daughter? Either because Luke and Anakin don’t share the same potential or you’re more powerful once you absorb the power that was in Mortis. Once Anakin became The Father aka the Balance of the Force and reach his full potential of WBW he became much more powerful than his Human form

Its sad they never explored how Abeloth found someone who would love her, how she brought him or her, to another area of the universe and built their own galaxy, only to see him age and start to die. The one issue that took her from her original family. Giving her partner the choice of drinking and bathing in the similar force nexuses, her partner declines - to allow fate to complete his death. The alternative is for both to die, as natural order is restored, or Abeloth after her grief, also accepts fate and fades into the natural order.
Abeloth is a tragic character, for me like Medusa. Its sad this story doesn't have a non-violent, malicious ending.
Aboloth could Disintegrate much more than what Starkiller ever could assuming she would ever be Interested In Disintegration
I would think that Coruscant would've had the Technology to Stop Normal Earthquakes completely given the Milenia Of constant Technological Advancements though could they have stopped the Earthquakes Aboloth made if given the Chance

I would be down for the events of Episodes VII to IX getting retconned as the handiwork of Abeloth (include the so-called "resurrection" of Palpatine)! 🤣🤣🤣

From what I read daily, a team of True Ultra Instinct Goku, Ultimate Beast Gohan, Ultra Ego Vegeta, Full Power Broly, Beerus, Timeskip Boruto, Adult Sasuke, Adult Naruto, Momoshiki, Isshiki, Shinra Kusakabe and of course the Skywalker family would easily outmatch Abeloth. All of the characters I just named according to their databooks are each Multiversal Powered. Meaning they can easily destroy universes. Wonder how fast they'd dominate her. Well I say ALL, but I don't think the Skywalker family are that powerful, but they'd still be able to help since this would be their home galaxy and they'd have knowledge of it enough to be useful so that the anime/manga characters wouldn't destroy literally EVERYTHING 😂
