Imagine being such a menace to the universe that the Jedi and the Sith - who have been mortal enemies for thousands upon thousands of years, decide to team up in mutual defense.
I really enjoyed the Fate of the Jedi series. Definitely darker in tone than even the Yuuzhan Vong story arch. I still love the menace & tragedy of Alema Rar. *Fingers crossed that Disney never mucks around with a ruins Abeloth. -Dustin
Abeloth is just too powerful. It's like Dragon Ball power scaling. It can get out of hand and difficult to represent in media. If you just have essentially gods fighting each other, there is no more intrigue or mechanics involved. You just have, essentially, "big energy beam" battles. I think it's fun to delve deep into lore and explore things greater than the physical world, but at some point it just becomes a battle of ideas rather than relatable struggles. I hope they don't bring crazy things like Abeloth into Star Wars canon, unless they come up with some clever way to deal with her....which would kinda dismiss how powerful she is, downplaying just how threatening she is, but seems the only good way to handle it, if at all.
I really don’t understand why the current star wars show runners don’t just watch lore compilations and bring legends into canon. Star Wars writers have literally set a path that is easy to follow. It’s a no brainer. The stories aren’t that complicated from a narrative perspective and leave enough vagueness for creative expression.
Literally and if they wanted a strong female lead they literally have one in jaina solo literally replace Rey and Ben with jaina and jacen and the story would be so much more enjoyable plus seeing jacens “fall” to the dark side which really was noble and he did in order to save his family kinda like anakin that woulda been dope

Are they going to have Ahsoka fight Abeloth when Luke had to reach a power level no jedi ever had in order to subdue Abeloth?
It seems like Disney are trying to separate themselves from new trilogy though. And maybe ahsoka is just introducing abeloth rather than her fighting abeloth. Who let's be real here, has no chance against abeloth. Ever. But this is just me on those lines of hopium after all.

1) I would love to have them introduce Abeloth. Especially since according to Filoni, the whole Mortis Arc of TCW was Lucas’ idea. I truly hope the thing calling Baylon is Abaloth. She represents a villian worthy of the story of the galaxy far, far away. She will bring all the legacy heros back into the fight, and at the same time allow the introduction of new characters. Both from legends and completely new characters. A proper villain is what has been lacking. Thrawn has an expiration date. We know he does not take over the galaxy for an extended time. So the villain that takes over in the aftermath of the new order is the most important character that will be introduced. The idea that the light and the dark will need to work together in order to defeat this villain add a completely new spin on the Star Wars universe. I hope that Abaloth or something a kin to her is what we will soon see.😊

Nah cuz I wanna see darth vitiate fight abeloth. Vitiate consumed the power of over 8,000 dark lords. Now yes abeloth bathed in 2 nexuses but still vitiate was always on another level completely than anyone in his era and was only killed by his own hubris. abeloth is essentially the same but she has the massive power of a light side nexus merged with a dark side nexus. It would essentially be one nexus powered vitiate versus a combined dark and light nexus abeloth. My money is still on abeloth winning but vitiate would defiantly be able or have enough power to banish her at the least.
I used to read all the l3gends books and comics. MRvel star wars was ok but dRk horse brought the best stories. Plus the novels. Ive read them all. Even the young kid novels. The young jedi acadamy series wasnt bad books. Bu4 ability wasn't known about it until clone wars sorted it out. Before that not that much was known about her. Then at the end it took not only Luke but Darth krayt to hepp kill her. If only luke realized how much shit he would do to his decendants. He saw him as a dark figure invisions but did t realize his great grandson would be killed by the guys forces.

Kylos is all messed up, Asoka has white after she walked away from the jedi, and Anikins is Not pure blue in cannon. Luke tossed his pure green one. Surely there is some way to help her. Also, I think her characterisation as an evil entity is wrong. She has both the light and the dark within her. Even when she was mortal she was the only one that was able to understand the son. Why, then did the books make her evil? Because her body couldn’t hold all that power? Cool, so help her. Inject her with celestial blood or something instead of writing her off and locking her away. And after only one incident too. She deserved better.
My prediction is a watered down Abeloth. Like a villain inspired by Abeloth. They wouldnt do a full trilogy about it because theres too much to explain and it's a bit dark for a main franchise film trilogy but i could see it in a series.

Some may call me a child for this, but know this: George would've been better off throwing all of his IPs (Star Wars, Indy, Willow, ect) to Creative Commons. Doubtful, he specifically said in an early episode he is def not a Jedi. Yoda and Obi wan are also not in the WbW, just Anakin (who is probably the master of it). There's no way they introduce the Mortis lore without bringing in Abeloth tbh. I hope they don't bring back Yoda and Obi Wan-we deserve something new

Nah cuz I wanna see darth vitiate fight abeloth. Vitiate consumed the power of over 8,000 dark lords. Now yes abeloth bathed in 2 nexuses but still vitiate was always on another level completely than anyone in his era and was only killed by his own hubris. abeloth is essentially the same but she has the massive power of a light side nexus merged with a dark side nexus. It would essentially be one nexus powered vitiate versus a combined dark and light nexus abeloth. My money is still on abeloth winning but vitiate would defiantly be able or have enough power to banish her at the least.
I used to read all the l3gends books and comics. MRvel star wars was ok but dRk horse brought the best stories. Plus the novels. Ive read them all. Even the young kid novels. The young jedi acadamy series wasnt bad books. Bu4 ability wasn't known about it until clone wars sorted it out. Before that not that much was known about her. Then at the end it took not only Luke but Darth krayt to hepp kill her. If only luke realized how much shit he would do to his decendants. He saw him as a dark figure invisions but did t realize his great grandson would be killed by the guys forces.

All the force users introduced in Ashoka, the "already known force users", Mando, Anakin, maybe the grand admiral and the night sisters, etc. even Luke Skywalker foreshadowed his involvement when he asked Ashoka about his father and if he would see her again, all look to be headed towards a united force in a future movie against Abeloth....

Surely there is some way to help her. Also, I think her characterisation as an evil entity is wrong. She has both the light and the dark within her. Even when she was mortal she was the only one that was able to understand the son. Why, then did the books make her evil? Because her body couldn’t hold all that power? Cool, so help her. Inject her with celestial blood or something instead of writing her off and locking her away. And after only one incident too. She deserved better.

lol they will not be making a three part movie on a legends character, you are crazy if you think that's going to happen. They let Sidious show some of his power to a bit of the legends level when he used his force lightning to attack the fleet and people shit all over it. AT BEST she will get a series or an entire season or 2 of Ahsoka will be devoted to her.
