I have a poorly designed miter station and it's MY fault, haha! Because of the poor design I had some dead space that needed to be filled and I had some bench grinders that needed a better home. So I saw that as an opportunity to create a storage solution. Hopefully you enjoy it and maybe you can use the idea in your own shop as well.

Great use of your space. Nice to see your use of safety gear.
I have been struggling to figure out where to put my sander and grinder. This is brilliant. Cheers!
Good use of an awkward space 👍🏻 well done.
Awesome job. Great use of not very usable space.
Really nice video! You gave me some ideas for my sharpening work van, it's always good to keep striving for a better shop, better ways of doing things, and becoming more efficient.
Your demeanor is great for UA-cam videos, you come across as kind, honest, and knowledgeable. Good stuff!
Hey thanks so much! i've tried a couple different approaches in my videos trying to find my sweet spot, but after trying to "turn it on" for the camera, i found that just relaxing and being myself is better and i actually like my own videos better that way, haha! I've got a lot of stuff lined up (a couple old ones i still have to finish editing) but hopefully you'll stick around and enjoy my future content too. Thanks again! 👊🏻
That’s a really clever solution for that space! My miter saw station is ridiculously deep because of the depth of the sliding mechanism on the saw, so I always end up with dead space at the back that ends up cluttered AF... totally getting inspiration for making better use of the space from this video!
yeah i'm actually starting to build a new miter station and it's ridiculous how big the clearance for the miter saw is. I have a ridgid brand 10" sliding saw but it can turn to 70-degrees and i need 4 feet wide clearance!🤦🏻♂️ I'm considering changing my saw but not sure what i'm gonna do yet haha!
@@stuffsethmakes I'm just using a cheap Harbor Freight saw (that works surprisingly well), so I definitely have aspirations for something different/better. I tend to do everything I can on the table saw, though, because the dust collection for the thing is so awful!
i hear that! i was given the ridgid saw for free. dust collection ain't great and it's just so dang big. festool would be nice but yo....that money though 😂
You have some good ideas there. I just might be able to use one of those ideas. Thanks. :)
That's going to be really nice to have set up like that. Nice little build and great idea. Keep it up!
thanks so much! it's nice to have them so accessible!👍🏻
Thank you. Great ideas and excellent execution. I will definitely be doing something very similar. Let all of us know if you come up with a way to access all that unused space under your slide outs. I’m thinking it would be great for things not used very often. Small jigs and such.
Fabulous, like this idea)
thanks! It worked well while I had that setup 👌🏻
Great solutii. for space saving and function.
That Ryobi grinder sounds like 1 or both wheels need balancing.
that ryobi went in the trash a LONG time ago🤣🤣
@@stuffsethmakes Aw, I coulda found a good home for it.
