Many questions received about the Lion King music. While I would choose different music if I remade this video (hint hint 😉), I chose the Lion King music because of the similar themes. Anakin betrays Obi-Wan as scar betrayed Mufassa. The prodigal son, Luke (Simba), returns after many years of darkness to bring balance back to the force (circle of life/nature).
Goes to show that a piece of Obi-wan burned and died with Anakin on Mustafar. I mean having to fight your closest friend who is your brother in every way bar blood to the death and having to watch him screaming in agony as he literally burned to near death. that would emotionally destroy anyone and kill a very big piece of their very soul. on that day Anakin Skywalker and Obi-wan Kenobi where no more and only Darth Vader and Ben kenobi where Born
Michael Kean I disagree. Obi was still “alive” in a sense-when he fights Vader in ep 4 he uses a trick he’d learned to become a ghost before Vader swings at him. It is an example of strategic genius reminiscent of all the tricks he had used in the past (on maul, grievous, etc.). He died as he had lived-as a Jedi, a strategic master, and a protector.
Kenobi lived one of the hardest lives there is to live. He was betrayed by his best friend and brother, the order that he’d devoted his entire life to was destroyed, he watched as his own kin turned their backs on the Jedi, the love of his life was killed right before his own eyes, his own master was taken from him by the the same man who killed his dear love. And through it all, he remained true to the Force. He knew that there was a way through it all. He put a smile on his face and watched as his brother’s son grew. And then, when the time came, he stood his ground in front of the young boy’s father and died at the hands of his best friend... Obi-Wan sacrificed everything for those he loved.
Another line I really liked was "I should be with him" from Anakin, talking about how he wished he could be with Obi-Wan fighting Grievous. Even in his last moments, he cared for his safety and wanted to stand with him like always.
ItzBocaBitch I honestly don’t get why he didn’t go with him. I mean I understand the council needed him to watch Palpatine. But oh shit that was a mistake

Holy shit. Editing from Anakin’s childhood to his redemption and manifestation as a Force ghost... very powerful. Well done. Initially, after watching their fight on Mustafar, it was sad. But, over time as I have taken time here and there to consider what would go into that moment for a real person... holy shit. Heart wrenching agony. So, seeing the Force ghost reunion... very rewarding. Again, well done.
Anger is an easy emotion to portray - the harder part is being believable and authentic when you're not screaming or scowling or fuming. Yes, the writing was bad - but people are too quick to place all of the blame on the writing. Ewan McGregor didn't seem to be hindered by it. Ian McDiarmid didn't seem to be hindered by it. Even many of the minor characters - Shmi and Bail Organa, for instance - were well-acted. No, at some point people have to admit that Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman, however good they might have been in something else, were simply NOT the proper choice for these characters. The same with Jake Lloyd - did you know that Haley Joel Osment read for Anakin but Lucas passed him over because he wanted an "unknown"? So it wasn't just the bad writing - it was also the *casting*.
"Why do I have a feeling you'll be the death of me?" "Don't say that master, your the closest thing I have to a father" THAT'S DEEP Thank you everyone for the likes😗😗😛😜
i watched this almost 3 years ago for the first time when my star wars interest was at its peak and i remember bawling and bawling and bawling to this. to this day november (the music in the background) is my neutral sound. i play it all the time and all these emotions just come back. this video is a masterpiece and i don’t care what anyone else says it’s beautiful. just magnificent. heartbreaking.
Like SERIOUSLY it’s SUPER SAD and it’s a bunch a moments when they had good times and it’s like they were actually brothers!!! They known each other for a long time. And at the end it’s like Anakin left Obi- Wan. And now that I seen Clone wars a million times I’m like WHY ANAKIN WHY!!!!!!!!!!!
The saddest and the most important part of Anakin’s story is that he did bring balance to the Force. Balance is when light and dark are equal. The Jedi didn’t realize that, they believed that balance is when there’s only the Light. Well, because of Anakin there were only two Sith and two Jedi. First, Palpatine and Vader vs Yoda and Obi-Wan. Then Palpatine and Vader vs Yoda and Luke. The Force has nothing to do with politics and the Empire. He really was the chosen one, he really did bring balance to the Force.
Fijkast 2220 and also for defeating the empire, when he *kills* palpatine when he turns back to the light side, he is the one who defeated the empire, otherwise luke would’ve died and they would loss
No, Balance is when both Jedi and Sith are gone and there are no more power struggles like the ancient Judi of old. The force isn't split into "Good" (Jedi) and "Bad" (Sith). Its two opposing philosophies of life. To be free by placing yourself above the world and emptying yourself of emotion, or to submit to your humanity and realize emotion is what puts us above other animals.
How could I have missed this for so many years!! Look at 4:24 when Darth Vader says “Im feeling a presence that I haven’t felt in a while”. He’s talking about Obi wan obviously but more than that, look at where he’s looking!! He’s looking up, to see if Obi wan is in the higher ground there too. lolol
It’s really truly amazing that something that started as an idea, how something that isn’t even real, can be so emotional and beautiful, Star Wars has truly changed all of our lives in some way.
This was the best video i have ever seen, at the last when obi and ani met for last time the end of the video the trilogy and realitionship of them make me cry
This is an emotional video to start, great, but makes me tear up a bit. Also the battle with Obi Wan and Vader on the Death Star toys with all the emotions. The last time they saw each other they were battling to the death, in that fight they gave it their all. Now their both just toying with each other. They really don’t look like their actually trying. But the emotional weight on that scene gets me every time. Also when Vader says “I presence I haven’t felt since”, and walks away, I like to add “A presence I haven’t felt since I lost my legs, my other arm, and my wife all in the same day.”
You even could see his anger when Mace Windu rejects him for the Jedi council. Heartbreaking. And the power of hate came even more.. When his mother died.
Anakin and Obi-wan had such a long history together not only as Jedi knights, but as men in both unbreakable bond, love and war. And here they are once again but the Anakin that was once beloved had been replaced by the evil's of Darth Vader.
This whole video was edited incredibly well however the very last shot is amazing. It shows Anakin and Obi-wan talking for the last time as friends and when Anakin looks down it shows his force ghost looking up years later. that was edited so well i literally cant even explain it, blown away.
that what's make the Star War the best Sci Fi in the history of the cinema... The Story this is where the Sci Fi starts and now after 41 years still the best
I think it's beautiful that he was the chosen one, and everybody thought he broke the prophecy. But in the end he gave his life to save Luke, killing Palpatine and fulfilling his destiny
sirjames45443 Mace was a perfect example of the danger to come from the Jedi of the clone wars era, it’s why he had to be killed even though Palpatine was a sith.
I teared up a little throughout the whole thing. But in those last two scenes of the video I sobbed like a baby 😭😭 this was such a beautiful and emotional video, may the force be with you.
God I hate Mace Windu, (when he is around Anakin) in my opinion he is one of the main reasons why Anakin turned. If he wasn't so arrogant I things would have been different. He believed that he was the chosen one, the chosen one who was supposed to balance the force. (However he almost single handly destroyed the order if it wasn't for master yoda.) That's the whole reason he didn't trust Anakin, he believed Anakin was just some kid with huge amounts of "talent" and wasn't the chosen one. That's one of the main reasons why he wasn't let on the council because mace didn't trust him. I don't care what you say if the second in command of anything said something you would immediately have a bias. Yes he most likely would have given him the rank of master after dealing with palps but still he was a huge reason why Anakin didn't like the council.
not to mention that Mace and the majority of the Jedi Order where all Grade A hypocrites who didn't practice what they preached not to mention that the Jedi philosophy is far more flawed than the Sith philosophy.
But destroying the Order *did* bring balance to the Force. At that point, the Light Side was far too abundant and powerful - when Vader was done, there were two Sith and two Jedi - each a master and an apprentice. THAT is balance. He wasn't prophesied to bring *peace* to the Force, after all.
Wasn't just Mace so many of the others had already fallen even before Palpatine did his work behind the scenes but truly Palpatine was as important as Anakin or Obi Wan. And what a great actor playing that role both as subterfuge and the things he meant they had that level of irony within what was being said if they knew what he was clouding their ability to focus then what was going on he was sort of like Here I am boys come get me if you dare.
Anakin has been through so much. He doesn’t deserve the things that happened to him. Anakin is probably the best character in Star Wars history (in my opinion).
after watching the clone wars animated series & prequels I can completely understand Anakin's reaction to not being giving the rank of Master. all the training, WAR battles, the clones & lives be held saved. only to have them say he's not good enough for a title he earned!
It's not a 'you're not good enough.' It's a 'we'll let you know when you're ready. Right now the Chancellor who we feel is being influenced by the darkness if not the darkness itself is saying you should be on the council. What do you want? Yes Mr. Palpatine. Right away Mr. Palpatine. Anyone else you want on the Council Mr. Palpatine?'
2:06 man, that stare off to the side from Obi.. even he knows that what he is asking is wrong... but he is loyal to the Order and will do what must be done, But you can feel the conflict in him as well. Such a strong scene.
Wow thank you! I am working on one right now it should be out this week! Thank you for your patience, I haven’t been able to dedicate the time and attention I think the videos deserve.

“ I don’t like sand, it’s course, it’s rough and irritating”

Hayden Christensen is THE BEST. It's a pity the writing was so bad, but he nailed every scene where he needed to look frightening.
How was the writing bad?
Büki- keh “I don’t like sand”
Lmao his acting was shit but it was probably them rushing it
@@Oplops5k Of course he doesn't, he was a slave on desert planet!
That final smile Obi-Wan gives Vader at 5:01 is beautiful. It's as if, for the last time, he's getting a glimpse of his old friend.
5:13 This scene really breaks my heart knowing this was the last time Anakin and Obi - Wan see each other again before Anakin's fall to the dark side!
"Why do I have a feeling you'll be the death of me?"
"Don't say that master, your the closest thing I have to a father"
THAT'S DEEP
Thank you everyone for the likes😗😗😛😜
2 Episodes later :Darth vader (Anikin) *kills obi-wan*
Thx for the heart
Thanks for showing my channel love!
That part gave me the goosebumps😫🤧
I will take care of that
The end made me cry when Obi and Yoda looked at Anikan after all that he has done it shows that there was real love and forgiveness between the two
Wait, is that the music from The Lion King at the beginning?!
*A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.*
Hahaha yep! 😂😂😂
What song is it exactly? Would love to hear the full version :)
Same thing I thought, i recognized This Land immediately. What is this, a crossover episode??
@@getrightw1tcha "This land" from The Lion King

I was already going to give it a thumbs up, but with the Lion King orchestral music, that definitely sealed the deal.
When Anakin said "May the force be with you Obi Wan", it really brought a tear to my eye.
i watched this almost 3 years ago for the first time when my star wars interest was at its peak and i remember bawling and bawling and bawling to this. to this day november (the music in the background) is my neutral sound. i play it all the time and all these emotions just come back. this video is a masterpiece and i don’t care what anyone else says it’s beautiful. just magnificent. heartbreaking.
The ending was so awesome!! This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen!
Natalie Burr wow thank you! That means a lot!
Is it bad that this video made me cry?
Natalie Burr haha not at all it’s a sad and tragic story
Like SERIOUSLY it’s SUPER SAD and it’s a bunch a moments when they had good times and it’s like they were actually brothers!!! They known each other for a long time. And at the end it’s like Anakin left Obi- Wan. And now that I seen Clone wars a million times I’m like WHY ANAKIN WHY!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m subscribing to you guys!! Keep making videos!!!!!!
Fijkast 2220 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Fijkast 2220 and also for defeating the empire, when he *kills* palpatine when he turns back to the light side, he is the one who defeated the empire, otherwise luke would’ve died and they would loss
No, Balance is when both Jedi and Sith are gone and there are no more power struggles like the ancient Judi of old. The force isn't split into "Good" (Jedi) and "Bad" (Sith). Its two opposing philosophies of life. To be free by placing yourself above the world and emptying yourself of emotion, or to submit to your humanity and realize emotion is what puts us above other animals.
@@Aidan-zc8wx So other animals don't have emotions?
@@warlordhuo4647 They may but still animals aren't like humans
“Goodbye old friend” gets me every time since it was the last time he would see his old friend before he turned.
Oh my god, that final scene of hanging his head down and rising his head up as a force ghost is perfect. Thank you for this video
There’s so much beauty in George’s vision
To me, this relationship defines Star Wars as a whole.
"Why do I feel like you're going to be the death of me?"
Well...
Well um hehe
The music is so perfect it’s so bittersweet beautiful
“Why do I feel you’ll be the death of me”
bREAKS OUT IN LAUGHTER
Well it was Vader who would be his killer
Not Anakin
How could I have missed this for so many years!! Look at 4:24 when Darth Vader says “Im feeling a presence that I haven’t felt in a while”. He’s talking about Obi wan obviously but more than that, look at where he’s looking!! He’s looking up, to see if Obi wan is in the higher ground there too. lolol
breathtaking + cool = EPIC
Molly MountainField wow so kind thank you!
5:17. The meaning, the story, the emotions, the music... that has got to be the most tragic thing I've seen. I love Star Wars so much.
I'm crying so hard right now and it's in the middle of the night... I must cry quiet but it's hard because this video is so heartbreaking!!!!!!!😭😭😭
It’s really truly amazing that something that started as an idea, how something that isn’t even real, can be so emotional and beautiful, Star Wars has truly changed all of our lives in some way.
Long has been the journey since those brighter and darker times.....but we should never forget where it all began....
And the love of two brothers
Well said!
@@StarWarsTherapy thank you
This was the best video i have ever seen, at the last when obi and ani met for last time the end of the video the trilogy and realitionship of them make me cry
Wow thank you!!!
The channel is called star wars therapy but I think for me my life is Star Wars is why I need Therapy
“why do i get the feeling your going to
be the death of me” obi wan said this to a young apprentice anikan, the foreshadowing uncanny
Also when Vader says “I presence I haven’t felt since”, and walks away, I like to add “A presence I haven’t felt since I lost my legs, my other arm, and my wife all in the same day.”
i melted from pain this is one of the best star wars story's i have ever seen and i have seen a lot of them
You even could see his anger when Mace Windu rejects him for the Jedi council. Heartbreaking. And the power of hate came even more.. When his mother died.
Anakin’s story truly is the most heartbreaking story in all movie history it’s so deep and heart wrenching he really did lose everything
Anakin and Obi-wan had such a long history together not only as Jedi knights, but as men in both unbreakable bond, love and war. And here they are once again but the Anakin that was once beloved had been replaced by the evil's of Darth Vader.
Beautifully said
This whole video was edited incredibly well however the very last shot is amazing. It shows Anakin and Obi-wan talking for the last time as friends and when Anakin looks down it shows his force ghost looking up years later. that was edited so well i literally cant even explain it, blown away.
Thank you so much that is very kind of you to say!
*Good bye old friend, may the force be with you...*
The greatest series of all time. STAR WARS ❤️ The duel on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi Wan will always be the most legendary duel
that what's make the Star War the best Sci Fi in the history of the cinema... The Story this is where the Sci Fi starts and now after 41 years still the best
I think it's beautiful that he was the chosen one, and everybody thought he broke the prophecy. But in the end he gave his life to save Luke, killing Palpatine and fulfilling his destiny
Was killing Mace a choice? Or the force being balanced?
The force being balanced
sirjames45443 Mace was a perfect example of the danger to come from the Jedi of the clone wars era, it’s why he had to be killed even though Palpatine was a sith.
Anakin brought balance by destroying the jedi then destroying the sith the balance is neuteral groumd.
I’m literally so confused on this!! At the end of return of the Jedi, luke stood as a Jedi, but there were NO sith! How is that balance
Christian Leeperrr Snoke was the balance
I teared up a little throughout the whole thing. But in those last two scenes of the video I sobbed like a baby 😭😭 this was such a beautiful and emotional video, may the force be with you.
This got me pretty emotional... great video!!
It makes me so sad that after all Anakin did, obi wan still considered him a good friend.
He is the biggest hypocrite of the jedi order. Yes he was one of the main reasons he turned. #macewinduisajerk
Although Palpatine is evil, there’s no doubt that the Jedi were corrupt, and I think Windu was the most corrupt of all of them.
I’ve watched this video about 10 times a year at just random moments and I love it every time
Wow that’s amazing! Thank you so much!
He truly brought balance to the Force, he ended the Sith and he Ended the Jedi successful bringing balance to the force.
This reminds me of hero fan productions tributes and they are godly and so is this I am crying
HFP is my biggest inspiration! This is one of the greatest compliments anyone could give me! Thank you!
i cant descripe how insanely good the music worked out to give me a feeling of nostagia, hope and lust for more and rewatch all of the star wars
The lion king soundtrack was really emotional in those scenes
When watching the clone wars tv series you forget what Anakin will become, and then you watch the prequels.. and dammn it hits you right in the heart.

I love how Anakin looks down at 5:28, and then it cuts to his force ghost - the next time he and Obi-Wan are truly together.

I legit think that this should be made into a star wars movie and that you should make the trailer, I was on the verge of tears when i watched this. Star Wars Therapy
, you are brilliant
This really made me want an Anakin Obi Wan standalone film for their clone wars exploits.
The prequels really make you see and understand how Anakin evolved into Darth Vader. I'm a train wreck every time I see their battle on Mustafar. Its gut wrenching to see these two part ways as they did. I especially grieve for Anakin, he was a tormented soul. And did this all for love. Great video, nicely done 👍
