You portrayed his story amazingly. Vader is hands down, no questions asked, the best character ever. Amazing work dude.
Eclipse Art I still think that the scene in Revenge of the Sith where the mask comes down on his face and he starts breathing is the best scene in cinematic history, it just has everything to it. I can imagine the silence in the theaters back in 2005 and everybody just staring at the screen.
I've gained a new respect for the prequels of late since my 5 year old has become a star wars fan. These are solid movies, RotS especially. The story of Anakin has to be amongst the saddest and most tragic of all-time. And Hayden's acting, especially at the end of E3, was top notch. I almost want to see a new project made where Anakin doesn't turn, just to see how things would've ended up.

I'm 30, I grew up watching the original trilogy, I love the original trilogy..... And the prequels, you can't understand the original triology without it. Is the light and tge shadow of that story, and ep. III it's the climax of Star Wars also with Vader redemption when he destroyed palpatine. For me ep. III is the best of the prequels and i couldn't say if it's better than the original trilogy, for me it's at the same level but in one thing is the best of all films: music, revenge of the sith has the best music of all star wars, 'battle of the heores' is astonishing and all the tracks are so emotional, 'anakins betrayal', 'anakin' s dark deeds', 'the inmolation scene'.... And much more, the best job of John Williams. And now we live dark times, fuck you Disney.
TheChowder72 I agree. The Chosen One is longer so I get to enjoy it a little better, but overall this one is better. We gotta find a way for it to be shared more, this is a true masterpiece

L3GEND, next time say it should have it's own Saga separate from the one we have now instead of saying it should be 7-9 bcoz that is not how timelines work, the Old Republic happened waaaaaay before, not after
I’ve been saying the same thing. Specifically I’d love an entire saga devoted to the Mandalorian Wars. Their war with the Jedi was already hinted at in TCW and Rebels TV series. All the themes and stories told in the Knights of the Old Republic game... I’d love to see that come to life.
The boy who promise to return and free his mother, but was too late. The young Jedi who advanced much quicker than the rest, but despised. The man who wanted to save the love of his life, but failed.
I love how you included both "too dangerous to be left alive"s right next to each other. Anakin needed the Jedi code to keep himself under control, but when he needed it most, even a master was breaking it

Dude! I’ve been seeing this recommended next to my revenge of the Sith modern trailer forever and haven’t clicked it until now! And man! Love the art you created! Making it your own with the color and time remapping, music is excellent! Keep it up!
Star Wars is a classic modern tragedy. Anakin is such a dynamic hero, trying to beat fate in order to save those he loves, he is powerful, but can’t escape fate. We are rooting for him, yet his character flaw brings him to his own doom. It is just such a well written story. I could watch him and Padme fall in love all day
Anakin will always be the best villain. Not for his actual villainy, but his tortured soul and history. All he wanted was to protect the people he loved. He was groomed from a young age, and thus, easily seduced by the dark side when presented with the death of Padmé. I will always love Anakin Skywalker
That small moment at 2:08; Alec Guinness was such a brilliant actor that that single moment reflects the entirety of Ewan’s performance and overall role in the PT. You can actually see him recalling the death of his friends and the battle that took Anakin from him. Great editing, it really brings out that kind of emotion.
Star Wars may be a fictional universe. But the emotions that the story awakens in me are real. I love this tribute and thank the creator for making it. I have always related to Anakin the most in nearly every way. The emotions I felt watching this made me cry. Thank you for making this.
ShotgunX _268 he needs a stand alone not anakin skywalker turning into darth Vader, but darth Vader going around the galaxy and completing his missions an being badass, he’s one of the most iconic characters in film yet he only has 12 minutes of screen time throughout all star wars films combined
If I could like this 1000 more times I would. Best tribute I’ve seen. The shot of little Ani w the inside of the mask followed by Vader putting the mask on for the first time? Absolute gold.
My fav parts: Anakin Skywalker: it is too late for me, my son. (What occurs in my head after vader says this)- Padme: there is still good in him...i know... there's still... 3:10 Love how the music upbeat corresponds to "flashes" in vaders mask

"It is...too late for me, my son."
We need a darth vader spin off
Alex Cerjinog Yes!!!
Not at this time in Star Wars history, due to politics.
@@soybasedjeremy3653 are you serious? They made Darth Vader so badass.
@@maanyashukla370 Yes, due to Disney and Kathleen Kennedy inserting feminist politics etc. I am all for it, but not with these feminist politics shoved down my throat. That's why TLJ and Soylo Failed badly, Disney even lost stock from it. Having Lando fuck droids and make jokes about it! Is his family a bunch microwave's?
Star Wars theory is doing a fan film
This was the best star wars video I have ever seen. Hands down no questions asked. The editing, the overlays, the colorization, the special effects, the audio, the timing, literally everything was perfect!! I was blown away!! Can you make the future star wars trailers please? XD. Amazing video, this is definitely gonna be one of my top new favorite videos :)
I appreciate the kind words! Happy to see you enjoyed the video so much.
Too true
how is the quality so good?????
The Chosen One is the best video.
Neenkin
The slo mo was so impressive, that I am BEGGING you, use those effects on your favorite SW duel. It would be.......better. More.
I will never forget this one franchise it’s just different unforgettable if you even tried.
“It is too late for me, my son “ gives me chills every time
From a massive Darth Vader/Anakin fan. I loved this so much! Thank you for making this. Hands down, best tribute ever made.
I am too I love Darth Vader
Anakin as early vader was epic , before he became half cyborg vader , climbing the stairs of the jedi temple with stormtroopers at his back. epic image or when he looked back hooded, and you could see his sith eyes... powerful stuff
if you allow me, here's another tribute that just came out really moving too ua-cam.com/video/tMXjonm8LgI/v-deo.html
My favorite character ever!!!
This was Anakin Skywalker's story and how he became the galaxy's most fearsome Sith Lord, DARTH VADER
Agree
I Agree
Agree
This honestly tops the “Chosen One” in my opinion
TheChowder72 I agree. The Chosen One is longer so I get to enjoy it a little better, but overall this one is better. We gotta find a way for it to be shared more, this is a true masterpiece
You captured the sadness of his story so much better than the movies did. Thanks for making this!
Happy you enjoyed it!
I'll enjoyed this video.
I just think you didn't process the movies properly. I can't watch Revenge of the Sith without tearing up a little.
@Carlos The movies had their own strengths and weaknesses, but in which movie do you get see such a clear and compact comparison of his past and future self? Character contrast/development can be powerful and character contrast is what this video shows
@@christophergrant3596 I didn't know there were correct ways to process my emotions. I guess we should all feel sad/angry/happy about all the same things at the same time for the same reasons.
This is the True Star Wars .... the catastrophic and chaotic events of the Force around the Chosen one, the young Skywalker.
"I believe you will bring balance to the force..." Wow this ending!
Episode 7-9 should've been about the Old Republic, imagine the characters they could have created and the setting. It could be gone into more detail on how the Chosen One prophecy came to be.
So episode -3 -2 -1 ?
All the episodes are about the Skywalker's not the old republic thats going to be its own trilogy
More like the prequals of the prequals
L3GEND, next time say it should have it's own Saga separate from the one we have now instead of saying it should be 7-9 bcoz that is not how timelines work, the Old Republic happened waaaaaay before, not after
I’ve been saying the same thing. Specifically I’d love an entire saga devoted to the Mandalorian Wars. Their war with the Jedi was already hinted at in TCW and Rebels TV series. All the themes and stories told in the Knights of the Old Republic game... I’d love to see that come to life.
2:03 hit me really hard. That's some incredible editing. Fantastic job. 100x better than Ep 7-8... Reminds me why I love Star Wars.
Oozywolf loved that same moment!! I felt it showed how the battle never changed
Wow, I just noticed. Past and present. I teared up..
*"SHE WAS ALIVE! I FELT HER!"*
The most powerful Jedi of all time and sith Lord
The boy who promise to return and free his mother, but was too late.
The young Jedi who advanced much quicker than the rest, but despised.
The man who wanted to save the love of his life, but failed.
Can't stop rewatching it
One of the best Tribute i have ever seen in my life !
BUT only 138k views ? LET'S SHARE IT !!!!!
I love how you included both "too dangerous to be left alive"s right next to each other. Anakin needed the Jedi code to keep himself under control, but when he needed it most, even a master was breaking it
Oh my God I cried when young Skywalker was shown at the end. This is a masterpiece for Star Wars. Thank you.
WOW, at first i was like "yeah another skywalker video, nothing special but pretty cool" and then the change came and i was like "OMFG what da hack is going on here?!"
This is pretty much the most epic tribute I've ever seen !
Those Slowmotion edits an sound and light - DAMN I LOVE IT
I love the fact that this is so aggressive and brutal, like Vader himself - not this emotional sad mimimi stuff.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIMME MORE
korbilaux lmao lol..
You said it all. I´ve never got goosebumps like this watching a video.
you seem like your on your knees....
korbilaux same here, I’ve seen so many and just clicked and was waiting to press close but was shaking after 20 seconds
Literally the best video on youtube.
comeing back 5 years later and its still a masterpiece
Absolutely spectacular!! This is the best Vader tribute I've ever seen. Great job. You deserve an Oscar for best editing. 🏆👍👏
Dude! I’ve been seeing this recommended next to my revenge of the Sith modern trailer forever and haven’t clicked it until now! And man! Love the art you created! Making it your own with the color and time remapping, music is excellent! Keep it up!
AD_edits same story with me man! Also no loved your episode 9 fan trailer.
L3GEND ❤️
This was beyond perfectly edited, some of the absolute most incredible work I've watched on this platform. Hats off to you man!
People who are not Star Wars fans think Darth Vader is just this big, bad, evil villain. But I promise you, he's so much more than that.
Star Wars is a classic modern tragedy. Anakin is such a dynamic hero, trying to beat fate in order to save those he loves, he is powerful, but can’t escape fate. We are rooting for him, yet his character flaw brings him to his own doom. It is just such a well written story. I could watch him and Padme fall in love all day
This seriously needs more views! One of the best edits I’ve seen!
Still watch this all the time, seriously the best.
Tskull 517 agree
Have you seen "kenobi"
Damn. That transition when obi wan said "you were my brother anakin. I loved you" it went from young obi wan to old obi wan so quick and fluid
You were my brother Anakin!! I loved you!!! :(
Anakin will always be the best villain. Not for his actual villainy, but his tortured soul and history. All he wanted was to protect the people he loved. He was groomed from a young age, and thus, easily seduced by the dark side when presented with the death of Padmé. I will always love Anakin Skywalker
The transition from pre-cyborg Darth Vader on Mustafar to Luke’s voice to the iconic cyborg voice of Vader...
I will always have chills.
This and “THE CHOSEN ONE” from HFP are amazing
I have no words. I'm crying.
I watch this every once in a while and it is that moment you mentioned that I always think of.
Man, that editing
I needed to watch it multiple times!
I watched it three times in a row and I am not done just yet
instant goosebumps...
All Star Wars built on the fate of Anakin Skywalker
*"You were my brother Anakin. I loved you...*
HOLY S*** This is one of the most beautiful thing i have ever watched! Thank u!!!
You should make a lot more Star Wars Tributes like this. You have a skill beyond comparison. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much! I'm sure it won't be my last Star Wars tribute.
Neenkin I'm glad to hear that. You earned a sub!
I really appreciate it!
My thoughts exactly
Jesus, probably the best Star Wars fan made video I've ever seen
Star Wars may be a fictional universe. But the emotions that the story awakens in me are real. I love this tribute and thank the creator for making it. I have always related to Anakin the most in nearly every way. The emotions I felt watching this made me cry. Thank you for making this.
Man Anakin is My Favorite In the Star Wars saga.... I identify with him in my own life and his story is told with depth and seriousness.💯💯
This is why I love Star wars.
Woah! This was awesome! Favorite part is the helmet with all the memories and it ending with young Anakin.
It’s painful we will never get to see a darth vader stand alone movie/ series
If he has a series i think it Will be more whatched than the ep 7-9.
Why the hell does he need one he had 6 movies already
ShotgunX _268 he needs a stand alone not anakin skywalker turning into darth Vader, but darth Vader going around the galaxy and completing his missions an being badass, he’s one of the most iconic characters in film yet he only has 12 minutes of screen time throughout all star wars films combined
If I could like this 1000 more times I would. Best tribute I’ve seen. The shot of little Ani w the inside of the mask followed by Vader putting the mask on for the first time? Absolute gold.
AUDIOMACHINE - WARS OF FATIH
Perfect choice for music!!!!!!
That was actually unbelievable I felt like I was re introduced to Star Wars ❤️
he never went a day without calling someone master....
"You must complete what I could not" chillss
One of my all time favorite videos ever made
My fav parts:
Anakin Skywalker: it is too late for me, my son.
(What occurs in my head after vader says this)-
Padme: there is still good in him...i know... there's still...
3:10 Love how the music upbeat corresponds to "flashes" in vaders mask
As kids we adore the heroes.
As adults we understand the villains.
In the end everybody left Anakin and he became Vader
There we're a Lot of character's that left him from the start.
Wow ! This is the best anakin skywalker video I ever seen ! Masterpiece.
This is beyond amazing.
Every time I’m working out and I need that extra energy boost to rip out my final set I blast this theme and turn into a cyborg with no emotions.
Skywalker Approved ✔
Loved This Video!!!!
This is undeniably beautiful, thank you for this! I literally teared up.
You are the best editor ever we truly need a Star Wars movie as epic as this felt.
This video is a masterpiece. You were completely able to convey the tragedy of the whole story. Well-chosen music, scenes, dialogs ... Just a brain explosion. I've never seen something like that before.
Liam played one of the greatest Jedi ever(that’s just my Opinion I know theirs many great ones but I love Jinn)
