One more tip. Buy what you want not what others tell you to buy
Good point! Most important thing is that you like what you are doing!
True but not true. Depends on what your goal is if u buy only slowbros ur going to fail compared to sets. But should be a fan first then collector 2nd
@@dominickmagoon5731 that makes sense. But also if you don’t buy what you like and the price tanks you’re most likely to sell it at a loss compared to if you liked the item you’d most likely be less inclined to sell. It can go either way though just follow your instincts when you look at each set and 90 percent of the time you’ll be okay in the long run
Good tips and I like this camera angle better. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the feedback!! Will make more videos with this camera angle, just need to figure out how i’m gonna do it when i have a lot of data in my video haha
I've just binge watched your last few videos. This is great content and really solid advice. Keep up the work and the subs will come 😊
I personally need to draw a line between investing and collecting and stop buying cards in PSA 10 that are just a few dollars raw - if I had done this just this month, I would have enough money for a big chase card or a few BBs.
Hi Josh, thanks for your kind words. Means a lot! I know it’s a struggle to make a difference between investing and collecting. For me personally, the shift came when I realized I won’t be able to realize my collector goals in this hobby without making a bit of money from it. My advice would be, try to sell a couple of psa 10 cards you actually don’t need in a 10 and buy some them as raw singles. With the rest of the money, you could focus on some investments from the S&V era. I know sword and shield is booming right now, but there are great deals to be made in this new era!
@@thepokemonks there definitely is! I have managed to pick up some BBs. Actually last month I did manage to get 2 x SV base boxes for £160 for both, and 2 x PE boxes for £175 - which is about as cheap as they get over here. Love Paldea Evolved! I'm not too sold on the other main sets yet so I will wait to see how the next few sets are received before picking them up. But no doubt if I see TF or PR at similar prices, and I have the budget I will probably grab them. Silver Tempest just went out of stock on PC in the UK so I picked a couple of boxes of that up on eBay for approx £105 each - seemed like a no brainer!
3 pretty solid picks! SV base is always a good idea since base set boxes are always doing a good job. Right now trying to complete my master set from paldea evolved, beautiful set!
Took me 4 months to realize all of this
nice content dude!
Thanks, appreciate this! 🙏🏻
If I could add a few tips....#1 move back in with your parents #2 Max out all your credit cards on Lost Origin BB #3 Declare bankruptcy #4 Build a house out of all your Booster Boxes.....your welcome
Hahaha thx for sharing, gotta make a part 2 now with this new insight information. As long as you don’t build a house out of rebel clash, it’s gonna be okay in the end.
Awesome content! Just subbed!
Thanks, appreciate this a lot! 🙏🏻Welcome to the channel!
nice video subbed. how do you get your mic audio to match your recording device?
Hi, thanks! I just use a simple clap after I started my video and audio recording. When loading in my files in my video editing program, it’s easy to recognize the audio spike in both files!
@@thepokemonks what video editing program do you use to record your audio? Thanks for answering by the way. So then you upload your video to the program and just attached the audio to the video?
@TheNadoes i’m using logic to record my audio and final cut pro to edit my video’s, but you can just do the same with imovie and garageband (which is free if you are using apple). I upload both files from my camera and logic into final cut pro and match their audio at the clap i make. Next i just turn down the audio of the camera file :)
@@thepokemonks ohh got ya okay makes sense thanks for answering. I gotta try that. When you do the clap though do you wait a brief second before talking or talk right away?
Yes always waiting a second otherwise my editing program messes my audio up haha
Dope video bro 👍
Thanks a lot, appreciate this 🙏🏻
nice video, thank you for your tips!
You’re welcome! 🙏🏻
Great video
Thanks!
Enjoyed this video, subsequently subscribed and watched a few more. Thanks for sharing knowledge 🙌
Thanks, means a lot! 🙏🏻
Whats the website for price trend on raw cards?
Pricecharting and tcgplayer are my go to’s! Charts looking better on tcg but prices for graded cards are better on pricecharting!
Good tips
Thanks, appreciate this!
Very nice channel buddy
Thanks Maxime, appreciate this!! And welcome to the channel!
🎉
thank god im enjoying the hobby
Most important thing if you wanna have a good time in this hobby! Good to hear :)
But how to sell the product with profit?
Hi! Normally I buy a couple of BB’s at an interesting price like Paldea Evolved at the moment ($100). I keep them sealed for 2 years and keep track of price changes. Then I will offer a couple of BB’s on sites like Ebay! does this answer your question? :)
@@thepokemonks Yes but what about the fees of eBay? Does that have any effect on the price overall?
Good question! They do have an impact on your sales and that’s why i try to mainly focus on less sales but bigger cards so my profit margins are worth my time i put into this sales. Also a lot more interest in big chase cards leading to better sales prices. If you are living in Europe, Catawiki could also be interesting! A decent auction platform where buyers are paying the auction cost.
Very helpful thank you 🙏🏼
