I agree i don't tjing this game is out of thid world but the atmosphere and sounds are fucking amazing, its was the scariest zombie moans in all the franchise
I love these Secrets from the Guidebook videos. I don't know any other RE channel that does anything even remotely close to them. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear that! Making these videos is a lot of fun, so I plan on making more. Living in Japan puts me in a somewhat unique position, so I'd like to make my channel as a kind of resource.
This channel should easily be sitting at 250K subs. Love the information you include and your presentation style. I learn a little something new about RE with every video.
I never heard about this game and look that I consider myself a RE fan. Awesome video! Also this had me wonder, I believe it'd very interesting to see these two protagonists back, specially Fong Ling, as her spy role could lead to a possible clash with Ada Wong. McGivern could also become some sort of partner for Leon in a future game.
@@raccooncitycinema what do u think of the remake cause I didn't enjoy it cause it felt a remaster not a remake also there was no gore in it like the original

what an underrated game... Thisgame coupled with a GunCon2 it's a jewell. Excelent gameplay atmosphere and history. Charcters are very well developed. Yes it's a short game but it's find for it's own pace and style.
Agreed! It's a fun game to just play in an afternoon, and while I don't have the guncon or a CRT tv anymore, it's great the developers included the option to use a mouse

@@raccooncitycinema FAir enough, great channel man, I subscribed btw
Yes same here! And with motion controls on Switch on PS5 it'd be a perfect fit. Maybe if the House of the Dead remake does well they'll consider it heh
Heroes come and go... but their legacies Never Die. Yep, I went there. Couldn't resist passing on the opportunity of saying that. XD Nice video on the interesting tidbits of Dead Aim! The game is quite underrated and to see it get some love is quite enough to show how underappreciated it is. Perhaps one day we will see Bruce and Fong Ling make their return after seeing them in Namco X Capcom. :)
@@raccooncitycinema Cheers! A good joke is always appreciated! :) And exactly! If we can see Rebecca make her return after the release of Vendetta, why not bring back a few underrated names for Re:Verse? ;)
Fun fact: Brad Pitt is from Springfield, Missouri, which is theorized to be one of the main inspirations for Raccoon City, making the connection a little bit more blatant.
I like the game for the side story setup about Umbrella having other BOW experiment showing more of their darker secrets outside of Raccoon City and Rockford Island.
Since I was still a young kid when the PS1 Bio games came out, RE Dead Aim would become the first game in the franchise that I was able to play completely by myself without cheats, even today I think it has some of the best, nay, the best blood + rag-doll of enemies getting head shot. Wish the game would get a RE-Master or at least a HD RE- release. Good video Raccoon City Cinema! I hope more people see it.
You're right, the headshots feel so good! And yeah, I'd love a remaster or something, throw in motion controls or mouse support again. Even a new entry in the series in vr would be cool. And thank you very much!
I remember picking up this gem. Not even knowing it existed. Then later finding out it a rare game. I love the story it was different. But the game was short, felt kinda rush that the end.
omg, a dead aim video! definitely not the best RE game... I mean, the subtitles don't even match the dialogue lol. But I have a soft spot for it anyway. I like the atmosphere, music, and enemy design a lot. Always thought the glimmers and the blind boss were cool.
Another interesting video!! Thanks and well done :) I guess it wasn't easy to capture images from this game. For curiosity are you to make a similar video for the other games in the series? Resident Evil zero ✅ Resident Evil code Veronica ✅ Resident Evil dead aim ✅ 🤭🤭
Thank you again!! And yes, I will be making more. I just started translating the next book yesterday. I need to finish RE0 part 2 as well. I also want to make a video for Fatal Frame and Haunting Grounds. And of course other RE games. Please let me know if you have a preference which you'd like to see first.
As for the game itself, I remember playing this game, and as a legally blind person I’ll manage to finish the game. I wasn’t going for the ranking so that did not matter to me. It was fun.
@@raccooncitycinema I thought it was Gun Durvivor done right. I saw potential in gun Survivor but the execution of the idea was just terrible. Dead Aim was enjoyable actually.
I love your content, and your storytelling is incredible. I'd like to ask you a question: what does the guidebook officially say about the Crewman's Keycard? Specifically, I mean, does the guide specify its location in the Cargo Room (in which of the 8 wooden crates it can be found), or does the guide accept or acknowledge that its location is completely randomized? Because I know for a fact that it's one of the items that causes the most headaches for speedrunners, but I haven't found official information about it. And also, it is Fong Ling or Fongling? Thank you in advance 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙏 I took a look and all it says is that "it's not determined which box it will be in" so yeah, they pretty much say it's randomized. Sorry speed runners, I can feel your pain. 😆 The book says Fongling, but when researching for this I'm pretty sure official sources had it as Fong Ling, too. I'll have to check the Japanese manual in the morning
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions. I really appreciate your time and attention. Your channel consistently delivers quality content, and the interaction with your followers makes it even better. Keep up this great work of yours!
So glad to see another video by you. Got to say, there seems to be some heavy political commentary towards China in this game. Wonder if they would have included that backstory if they wanted to release the game now, since we tend to censor things so much to please China.
See here’s my problem with Darkside Chronicles. You cannot have the original resident evil two and the original resident evil code Veronica, and Darkside Chronicles be canonical at the same time. From what I understand, only the part that tells Jack Krausestory which is unique to Darkside Chronicles is canonical. The rest are non-canonical even by many resident evil fans if I’m not mistaken. As for this game being canonical or not, it seems logical that this game would be canonical. But from what I gather once again, the original resident evil two and the original resident evil code Veronica are canonical and their remakes of Darkside Chronicles or not canonical. And I know you saw this in my call Veronica analysis video but come on, I will have to mention this again. Bruce has the most dude bro ending of all time in any resident evil. He ends the game by having victory sex in the middle of the ocean. L O L
It's not just for argument sake. It's contradictory. For example, in RE2 original, Claire never meets Ada, in original CVX, Steve never meets Chris, and Poor Rodrigo doesn't even make it in the game. Is it coz he has facial hair? lol Also, in CVX, original, Claire is not originally looking for her brother, she's trying to escape. It's Steve who finds a computer with Chris's name on it, eventually prompting Claire to send a distress message to Leon. In DSC, they make it seem like Claire snuck into Rockfort Island to access a computer. This, and many more contradictions leads many to rightfully believe that the only cannonical part in DSC is the back story of Krauser, which was unique to DSC.
Dead aim has a great atmosphere, one of the reasons i love the game
