I’ve never used K tape before but bought some after watching this video and I am so thrilled to have my toe in alignment! This is way letter than those silicone spreaders and clunky braces that you can’t walk around in. Now I can use this during the day instead of having to wait until the evening to get relief. Thank you This clear and informative video! Yay

Thanks for this! I got surgery to straighten out my 4th toe and it sure went right back to normal after about a year. But for a few months I had perfect looking feet! The bunion splints and tape are so helpful to make sure the toes don’t go too far out of line so I’m glad I’ve started to use them at the first sign of “bending”. Toe separators like you wear at the nail salon are very helpful too I sometimes leave those on while I’m lounging around and they straighten things up as well.

@@cyavelle happened to me too. I have problems with bunions, crooked toe, hammer toes and arthritis in those areas since birth. Now I'm in my thirties and I'm scheduled for 7th doctor in my life who will consider if they will finally do surgery on me. Most doctors don't want to do surgery on younger people because it's very difficult surgery - cutting tendons and bones, recovery is very long, around one year, and in most cases same problems occur again within 10 years from surgery.

I have both problems and can't wait to try out your taping. But I have a third problem. My baby toes alignment is out. Instead of sitting flat they are bent inwards and now there are sharp and hard skin and get blisters if I walk a lot. I was told that an operation can only straighten them up. Is that right? May be taping around the big toe can apply to the baby toe too?

Diagnosed at 48. Gluten free 18 years now. Almost 19. Second nature now, but difficult at first. So much to learn.
I have a friend who has the most issues with rice gluten. All grains have gluten. Just different types.
Just a trace of gluten and I get it back, but it only lasts a week.

Good idea to rest a few days before reapplying, but if you need it you can reapply a fresh tape after removal of old tape and cleaning surface. Thanks!

However if the alignment of the toe can be pushed out of alignment, it stands to reason that it is possible to realign with guidance and time. So it is possible, but everyone is different. I'd give it a go since you have nothing to lose and it's not some kind of drug with side effects. Good luck!

Can you do a video for that? Lastly how long does it take for the toe to go back to normal? Thank you the video was ell done"!

    • @FreetheTongue

seeamerica1 I'd love to know the same thing. The bunion is the painful part but the crooked toe is causing or contributing to the bunion. One would imagine if you can't do both at the same time that you'd probably have to treat the bunion first at least until it's not so painful? And then treat the crooked toe? I'd love to know for sure though.

If you get surgery DO NOT get a fusion. Lapidus and Lapiplasty are DANGEROUS and destroy your foot joint. You won't be able to walk or run ever again. DO NOT make the mistake I did.
Go for an osteotomy or best of all a tight rope bunionectomy (like the fast forward procedure). Those don't destroy any joints

Actually most tapes are manufactured in china due to there only being a limited number of factories that can produce it. So many brands are made at the same facility but under different specs. part of the reason for the cost difference. Check out my video for tape brand shootout. There's two. You can buy tape in a brick and mortar store too, like some pharmacies, sporting goods, and rehab clinics

Yes you can. Also check out my video for sprained fingers, I believe I mention it in that video. Same principal applied to toes

I started growing bunions when I was 14yrs old, very disturbing because I hated how my feet looked. I only wear closed in toe shoes because not only did I started to grow bunions, my big toes had started to grow to my next toe. I am very self conscious of my feet which has prevented me to enjoy summer. I don't like summer because I couldn't enjoy it, even until this day. I can't wear sandals, I can't get into the water because I hate the way that my feet looks and I never learned how to swim because of it. Even to wear the water shoes, my bunions stuck out. I totally
hate my feet LoL 😂. I have been thinking about surgery but I'm not the one for being cut on especially at this age. Thanks for video because it looks like something I can try and hopefully would work out for me. Let you know how it turns out.

Hello, Thanks for the question. All the tapes I use are 2 inch / 5cm wide standard rolls. This is the typical tape width from all brands that I'm aware of. When I cut Y strips it half that because I split it evenly down the middle. I hope that answers your question!
