It would be awesome to see updates on the figure room. I think this is a ok figure to stand on a shelf but i'm not a fan of the exposed armpits and they could've put at least an ab crunch in the torso.
I don’t *hate* this figure, but man did he need a better face. This isn’t a “Sweet Christmas!”, this guy’s more of a “hey, have a good Christmas or whatever, I guess.”
Thank you. I think a HUGE miss by Hasbro is making the chain link belt removable, and possibly having an extended out one as an accessory for him to hold in his hand.
Whilst not the most egregious-looking figure to feature on Anthony’s channel, it is just another typically subpar Hasbro Marvel Legends figure. I do not fancy the dull, impassive head sculpt. Progress pictures of the process of your studio/collection room sounds lovely to me, mate. Should be good fun! 🙏 And congratulations again to you and your family on the new home. 👍 Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧
I noticed Lady Bullseye has the same weird paint/sculpture issues with the body color showing through the armpit. I picked up Blade from this line, but that’s all I could justify buying
Been waiting for classic 70s Power Man and Iron Fist, so this one will have to suffice. There will be corrections made to the pits and the head, though. And yes to basement tapes!
Qs of the day: Please and thank you for in-progress pics and I’m fine with the head sculpt. I guess we all have our own set of dealbreakers when it comes to aesthetics. One of mine is using an overlay on a shirted character instead of sculpting the torso and avoiding all of the associated issues like Toy Biz did what? 17 years ago? I can make it work in a display by keeping the figure in vanilla poses and looking at it straight on, but what a cheap/bonehead design decision on a highly anticipated (by many) figure.
Besides the skin showing under the arm, I don't mind the way this figure looks. When it comes to the paint of Marvel Legends figures, as long as the figure has a matte finish, I can live with it. Hasbro is gonna Hasbro. It's wild that this figure looks like a 100% new sculpt and it still wasn't perfect. I'm not a Power Man fan, but I may buy this if I see it on sale.
Wow! That yellow is bright!😂 We enjoyed the review, Anthony! Thank you for sharing! Also, we would love to see some progress pictures of your studio basement and workroom! Congratulations to you and your family! 👏
Anthony, I'm Glad you've adjusted to rating by the context of the line, makes the criticisms fit better for the average viewer/ collector. I used to think you were too harsh before but you are right on the money here my dude.
they could’ve taken notes from Jada with the Ryu figure and have the shirt piece be the same soft plastic as Ryu’s Gi so we can have some type of torso articulation oh and also the boot does not rotate, it’s a square peg because that makes so much sense 👍🏻
Dude, I appreciate that because after seeing everyone trashing the figure, I question my own sense of proportions 😂 I actually thought it was an ok figure. The legs are reflecting the baggy style of the 70s I think. But good to know that I'm not going crazy. Yeah it is super average but I doubt we'll get any better at this stage from Hasbro. And yes, all for updates on the new house, congratulations!
I’d love to see basement progress pics. And those shelf setting streams you did a while back were a lot of fun. Maybe something similar when the time comes?
No excuse for not having boot cut, boot is a separate piece anyway wtf? I can live with the ball jointed waist but why did they totally shit the bed on this wave!
I want to see your updates, would be cool! I kinda like this figure but I can't understand why this guy can't get the same articulation scheme as the Ryu from Jada. What's stopping Hasbro from doing that?
A Marvel Legends collection ends up looking good when you have hundreds of characters but they should cost something in between $10 to $25 (regular to BAF size). Thanks for the review Anthony.
the reality is that when examined through a sane educated assessment of Hasbros execution of Marvels IP the results show a lack of quality and attention to logical and reasonable standards that should be present and exist in a state of equality in regards to the product made for consumers standards. Anthony may be perceived as having a pessimistic oversight of the products in question but when examined and perceived through a inherently non-biased discernment his attitude and reviews for the greater good of the collecting community at large reflect a knowledge and wisdom that is justified and embodies the greater good of the community at large. Logic and reason suggest we demand greater quality in the product we all engage with our totality of money they misappropriate back into the future designs we all collectively anticipate (=
Congrats on your own house. Also got one a few months back. Sure, please share your progress. Always interesting how someone puts his collector room together. And again a great (Hasbro) review. I love your honesty regarding their products. Thought making a serious jump into those figures but after holding some "good" of them in my hands and compared them with other toy lines... it is rediculous how bad they are for the given price tag. Thanks again for warning me. 😅
Hi Anthony I’Ve been watching you since the mcfarlane Halo days And your videos are always so helpfull. So i just wanted to thank you for being such an important part of me growing up. Anyway, i was just going to answer the question of the day, and It was a Yes, i would like to see the progress on your studio c:
Terrible figure and would be cool to see the progress of the basement. I just got the super missile accessory you made and it’s wonderful, I would love if you make more items for samus, maybe a beam accessory
I quit buying figures with bored expressions. Give me a smile, a grimace, a yell... some human emotion. I really don't like the neck hinge. That's a deal breaker for me. I was excited for this figure when it was announced... and then I saw it.
Semi realistic slightly anime style heads, I hear ppl saying something like that about a lot of the things coming out... I think that's just a comic book style, and I don't have a problem with it
Love your channel btw, no disrespect intended just saying what I been thinking, keep on doing what u do, I like u cause u say what u think and mean what u say
No angry head...are they smoking? Have they ever seen the cover of the comic?😂 We barely get any characters that are of color and when we do, they're mostly reused. It's really frustrating as a person of color. I think everybody would have preferred the midnight son's version of Blade. Yes Anthony we definitely want to see your setup progress 👏🏾 Fwoosh articulated icons managed to figure out how to have solid articulation movement with a robe.
Have heard a lot of statements about Hasbro being lazy with this or that with figs, but this one, other than the actual sculpt, has lazy all over it (no boot cut, the armpits, etc).
i have always LOVED the design of Luke Cage. He's like a 1970s disco wet dream for me, but yeah. This figure is a bit underwhelming. Still, i appreciate this review.
Even though I want a retro Luke Cage in my collection, I'm going to have to pass on this at MSRP. I'll think about it when it hits under $15. It's too much of a lazy figure that they made.
I swear I believe AnthonyCustoms sometimes just disagrees for the hell of it with others. Lol. I still like the videos. He's like, at first, it's not that bad, then proceeds to find more shitty things wrong with it. LMAO. Anyways, it's not the best, not the worst. Can be fixed with some paint and cutting.
Hey , I thought you went easy on this figures considering how bad it really is. You guys waiting for a 70s classic Luke Cage, you still waiting 'cuz this crap isn't it. He's supposed to be a big guy, tall, this is not that. Whoever came up with the idea to take away ab crunch, and the moron who signed off on it? Then you got those big armholes, wtf. Ok and now we see after all that he doesn't even get that boot swivel? WTF. All these years and this is what they came up with. omg stop paying for crap.
It would be awesome to see updates on the figure room. I think this is a ok figure to stand on a shelf but i'm not a fan of the exposed armpits and they could've put at least an ab crunch in the torso.
The torso sculpt is nice and new - but the peculiar omission of an abdominal crunch articulation is baffling.
Heck yeah, I’d love to see your home progress! Thanks!
The jacket and chain looks like Happy Meals toy level of quality
A prime example of Hasbro being Hasbro
The Spider-Man PS5 figure is still the most Hasbro of all Hasbro things
@@suhtangwongall those brands are better in a lot ways they give you more accessories. Only negative is price and cq issues
Sarcasm is strong with this one… But I have to concur; Hasbro being Hasbro just to Hasbro.
I don’t *hate* this figure, but man did he need a better face. This isn’t a “Sweet Christmas!”, this guy’s more of a “hey, have a good Christmas or whatever, I guess.”
Yes, please to see the figure room progress.

Is there any reason why we haven’t been getting many accessories lately? Just bad budget allocation?
Greed

I would love to see progress pictures, what you're doing with the basement sounds like what my dream basement looks like!

Yes would absolutely enjoy seeing the progress on the basement
I'd actually be interested in seeing progress pictures because I also just bought a house and I'm interested in renovation ideas
Would be cool to see the progress / finished result of your workspace. Maybe it'll help inspire me for the potato one I've been working on!
Hell yeah man! Please posts updates of the Studio in progress, I can’t wait for a future collection room tour as well
I’d check out some construction updates for sure👍
Sure thing, I'd like to see how you manage your collections. That'll be cool.
Progress stuff yes! Love the ongoings beyond just reviews.
I would love to see progress on your new studio and collection displays

I would love to see updated on you're collector room plus it saturating to see how far it coming along
They tried the Mythic Legions torso articulation, but those fans forgive because of all the other stuff they have
I’d love to see basement progress pics. And those shelf setting streams you did a while back were a lot of fun. Maybe something similar when the time comes?
Heck yeah. Would love to see progress pics
As a whole, it looks like it belongs on a 10 year old’s birthday cake.
Im down for some progress updates leading into a full tour when done
QOTD: I would love to see your progress updates, especially to see your work setup.
No excuse for not having boot cut, boot is a separate piece anyway wtf? I can live with the ball jointed waist but why did they totally shit the bed on this wave!
Yea im down for some project images.
Yes i would like to see the colection basement evolution
I want to see your updates, would be cool!
I kinda like this figure but I can't understand why this guy can't get the same articulation scheme as the Ryu from Jada.
What's stopping Hasbro from doing that?
Oh hell yes, I’ve been waiting for this review
Yea! Progress on the work space would be grat
Yes I’d like to see progress videos of your new basement/studio
I just be happy with a tour video when your all done setting things up
Hi @anthonyscustoms, great review as always. Btw, what do you think about Mondo X-Men figures? Will you review it?
I would like to see progress pics of your studio
Yeah, show progress shots of your new setup.
A Marvel Legends collection ends up looking good when you have hundreds of characters but they should cost something in between $10 to $25 (regular to BAF size).
Thanks for the review Anthony.
Progress pics would be rad!
Show us progress pics of your workshop

Hasbro please don't hurt me I just want cool toys forrealz (=
Yeah, man, show some handy man work !! I'm curious how your shelves will turn out .I do a lot of construction for work
Unfortunately, i don't think I'm going to do built-ins. I might want to rearrange the setup at some point.
Definitely want to see the progress
Toy room pictures are always appreciated 💪👍

Yes, we wish for the basement updates.
show us the man cave🔥
he looks like a backup dancer in that John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever.. LoL
Yes to progress/updates
Hey Mike. How are things?
Things are cool my way! How are you and the family? Also, I don't know why I never see the emails when I get responses on UA-cam until weeks later. 😂
Review those new Sh Figuats!!!!

glad you like it. when i have more time ill make more stuff
I still don’t know if “lets take a look at my package” is supposed to be an innuendo or not. Either way gets a chuckle from me every time.
The one ToyBiz made for the Mojo wave still looks better than this despite it being released over 15 years ago
Imagine consistently pumping out so much crap that your company has it's separate scale for rating it's products: "for Hasbro it's a __/10"
Was waiting for this review😂😂
Awwwww, Hasbro stopped caring about saving the world and went back to the clamshells 😂
"Canary Yellow" - definitely a customizer
I would love to see your progress
Please record some of your basement studio, that would be interesting!
Anthonyscustoms I have a question. Do you think the sh figuarts chun li is better than the jada toys one?
In some ways but they aren't comparable. Entirely different price points.
Would love to see what you’re doing with your basement. Man, I wish I had one in my house.
Yes, I would absolutely love to see Anthony’s custom basement.
Are his legs two different colors/finishes? 😅
Absolutely yes i want to see your basement
This dude a walkin flash bang
Show us the collection please
His face makes him look like a JoJo's bizarre adventure charecter lol
I quit buying figures with bored expressions. Give me a smile, a grimace, a yell... some human emotion.
I really don't like the neck hinge. That's a deal breaker for me. I was excited for this figure when it was announced... and then I saw it.

Hasbro was scared to make an "angry black man" headsculpt due to all the easily offended, cancel culture people that exist now.
Have heard a lot of statements about Hasbro being lazy with this or that with figs, but this one, other than the actual sculpt, has lazy all over it (no boot cut, the armpits, etc).
i love home improvement crap! yeah, i'll watch the basement makeover. it's interesting to me.
i have always LOVED the design of Luke Cage.
He's like a 1970s disco wet dream for me, but yeah. This figure is a bit underwhelming.
Still, i appreciate this review.
Can you please review the new SH figuarts Guts ?
I will
Awesome, I can't wait to see you review that one because I've been thinking whether i should purchase it or not.
Will you be reviewing sh figuarts zoro?
Already filmed it. It'll be up Thursday

Happy meal figure 😊
I cant belive hasbro is stealing the packaging from the naughty or nice santa figures for the newer marvel legends. So unoriginal.

I think people are hating this figure beacuse of that huge gap on the arms
I’d like to see your progress :)
Still better than the Toybiz one
He should’ve had blue pants. When he wore black pants, the bottoms of his boots were black. Hasbro couldn’t even get the colors right smh.
Mhm
