ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The sky cycle is very nice and this is the Hawkeye I’ve been waiting for. I love the head sculpt. We do need a multi arrow version of Hawkeye next!

I dig the Sky Cycle and it was honestly part of the appeal for me. I love this version of Hawkeye and am excited for that West Coaet Avengers pack. I already picked up Wonderman. I might pick up a second Hawkeye just for the Sky Cycle since Cap used to ride one as well.
The brighter colors on Hawkeye go well with the 20th anniversary Cap and Ironman. I missed previous releases of Hawkeye so Im glad to.have this available, but I wish it was a solo release if for no other reason than to not have the fabric loin cloth.

The vehicle on the right you were showing from Toy Biz is called the Atomic Steed. The Black Knight use to use it and I have my BK riding on it displayed!
I put my Black Knight on the Toybiz one that came with Task Master.
Man, I was hoping for Shartimus to show the toybiz accesories on the new Hawkeye 😢
He is one of the only figure i picked from this avengers anniversary line so far. He looks very cool and the sky cycle is great
I think the skycyle is an improved version of the vehicle accessories and I really hope that they continue to improve their approach to this because if they can improve on their motorcycles in the way they have with this skycyle compared to the old ToyBiz version, then a new, classic ghost rider with flame effects with one of the new body molds would be amazing.

I watch Anthony's Customs and the guy just hates everything... Nothing is good enough and he tore this Hawkeye to shreds. His opinions are totally valid, it's just hard to hear so much negativity.

@@craxyman9025 I only check out his videos if Shartimus, and no other reviewers I know of, haven't reviewed a figure that I've been considering picking up.
But every video is:
"This figure sucks, not enough accessories, these proportions are all wrong but don't worry I fixed them in Photoshop because I'm perfect and don't make mistakes. This has to be the ugliest head sculpt I've ever seen. Hasbro is evil because I said so. Despite NECA having joints and joint pins that snap if you so much as have the audacity to look at them the wrong way, they're still dollar for dollar the best damn action figures on the market, once again because I said so. if only you scrubs could look past the brittle, shitty ass joints, you'd realize that NECA is perfect. Also I'M perfect, I really am but you all knew that because I said so. That's also why barbell neck joints are the best and I'll fight you to the death on that because I suck at respecting other people's opinions. Even though the Hasbro neck articulation is awesome, you're all still wrong. But there are still figures out there that not even NECA has made; but not to worry because I made them. Jeez, it's so hard being perfect; dare I say it's a responsibility..."
(My thoughts) Thank God we have Shartimus and other great UA-camrs who do excellent videos! The more they make, the more likely we don't have to listen to that congested voice whine about how nothing is ever good enough.
I'm still really hoping hasbro will give ghost rider this treatment again at some point and give us a new Johnny Blaze with his hell cycle for people who missed out on the old one also great review man 👍👍

Love this figure saw him at GameStop and picked him up .
Slight modifications with an x-acto knife and some string to the bow/arrow and cutting slits between the pointer/middle finger and you can pose him perfectly aiming to shoot an arrow. Just cut the plastic string off the bow and then cut slits at the top and bottom of the bow. Get string, measure the length necessary so the string is firm and has resistance. Tie small knots at each end of the string, place them between the slits you cut in the bow and boom. Perfect bow. Then cut slits between his fingers so the arrows can fit. If you have the arrows from the old marvel legend or the marvel select hawkeye, you can finally make use of them. Like the arrows with antman or wasp. 🔥🔥🔥

Hey, Shartimus, if you want some better arrow shooting pose try the Allfather wave Iron Fist kung-fu hand with the sticking out fingers split.

I haven’t gotten mine yet, so maybe this won’t actually work all that well, but I’m planning on using the toybiz Hawkeye accessories (namely the bow) with this new Hawkeye to crest my perfect Hawkeye.
I have the retro-carded Hawkeye on the Toybiz sky cycle (replaced the hinged piece with a metal rod) with the Toybiz bow and arrows. This figure looks better, but not $50 better. The sky cycle looks more comic-accurate, but seems too big for my display.
Nice job on the lighting. Usually the loin cloth looks way too dark in photos and on videos, but it’s pretty accurate here. In person, it’s a very good color match. This set is 20% to 30% more than it should be, but what isn’t now? As far as the sky cycle goes, I’ll take it any day of the week over a second figure that I have no real interest in.

I realized that the loose arrow can be stored on the back of the quiver after all this time!
You could use the DC icons green arrow bow for this guy to do the drawing of the bow.
So as nice as this is, in this day and age of cutting back, because he does come with the sky cycle and it bumps up the price I need to skip for now. Plus the fig itself falls short here and there so I gotta say no. BUT he does look very nice overall. I have the same reasoning with the Hulk 2 pack. Should be a must buy for me but I have so many problems with it that I gotta pass. The mark 1 Iron Man and Bucky Cap may be the only 2 new avengers figs I get right now. I know I should get the black Widow too but idk, Im just gonna wait or pass. Great review!

I'm not getting anyone being disappointed with the Sky Cycle. This is just a standard Rider series figure and it clearly meets the expectations. You get a vehicle that is character appropriate for the character and a new figure/deco, win win. There are only so many potential natural rider series figures out there, this was one of the natural for this series (Black Knight, Dani Moonstar, Valkyrie, and maybe a stretch with American Eagle are about the only others remaining out there that are natural) (Phantom Rider also) (and yes I'm sure that I'm probably missing a few obvious ones, just can't think of them now)

The nitpickery of the small amount of gold on the bow handle is amusing. Did it come off from being in his hand? Can you see it if it's in his hand? The Skycycle is more tied to Hawkevye than the other Avengers, but many Avengers have ridden one. Having it is far better than not having it.

@wayigotitfigured9800 It's not nitpicky, considering the product is not supposed to have paint come off. So in that regard, the product failed.
@@chewymew Shartimus himself says he's nitpicking in several places in the video. Don't make a big deal out of it. It's a great figure and a great review, but if a little bit of paint on a bow meant to be in a character's hand can ruin the whole product for you, then do you.

How come there's marbling? I don't like the way it looks either but I honestly don't understand how its made, is it because it's a solid silver/grey color or poor choice in paint quality? I know it's been a bit of an issue this year. Otherwise, this is a pretty solid figure/release. Expensive but solid release lol I love the colors as well.

The extra cost of the skycycle is preventing me from buying this. Plus, I've already got the retro carded Hawkeye, which was a nightmare to track down, so I'm not in desperate need for another... but I do like his accessories a lot and if they rerelease him in different colors or the price drops in a few months... I might pick him up. For now though, my wallet is safe
