This was a cool explanation! I didnt even think the ending was complex....i just dumbly accepted that he won! Only now that you explain it, I understand how intricate this movie is!
A good sequel could have people reverse engineering the alphas time powers for nefarious reasons and Cage has to assemble and tell his squad what happened to stop these new enemies. Then they could loose and be thrown back to the events of the 1st movie to fight the war once again but together and stronger, and it could be that 1st movie win was all a major manipulation.
Just constructive criticism here. I could skip this to about 6:30 into this video and wouldn’t have missed anything if I’ve at least seen the movie. Maybe speed up the ending of the movie recap part. Again not trying to be an ass haha I still like the video
When they meet, she tells him that he has to die each day, or he will lose the reset. so that is the reference to the 24 hrs. She then tells him; she lost her reset due to the blood transfusion.
I would say it is not necessary. Specifically, because the ending is totally different in the novel... like... miles away from the movie. (but I will not spoil it here)
@@Binge_Zone I agree with @maxbedo9645 1. Cage has no conscious control over the power if he has it at all. Dr. Carter suggested that not even Omega has control over time. That is why the time resets when Cage dies. Why would Cage be able to do more than Omega? Also, the smile at the end has nothing to do with him having the power but seeing a woman that he loves alive. 2. if everything that mimics did was erased why is the army still in Britain? Why is he flying in that helicopter to be sent to the battlefront if the mimics are long gone?
@@donperegrine922 His engagement is what brings other people to the discussion so I would say that @Binge_Zone is a pretty smart guy and did the right thing.
@@donperegrine922 I think we are making much from a simple happening...first off, Cage goes further back because he dies earlier (the night before...instead of on the beach the next morning)....not that he has the power to reset that sends him further back. The dying action of the Alpha and the Omega is to send the restart signal...When the Alpha dies the Omega can reset everyone (including the dead Alpha)..but the difference is that this time the Omega dies and resets..... but is unable to reset itself because it dies.... giving off the final power surge (mentioned in the news announcement) .....Because the reset energy is now cycling back to a dead Omega (like a short in an electric component that gets hit with a heavy current...it blows). That's the way I see it.

Horrible idea
Nicely Done ❤

Great breakdown. I wasn't crazy about this movie because I did think it was a little confusing.
They didn’t do a good job really explaining mechanics of how exactly it all works.
There's always someone bigger
What makes you say that time loops expires after 24 hours? In both situations, it was lost due to blood transfusion.

Hmm.....I wonder why she thinks there is a 24 hour limit?@@gordoncrooks4262
read the novel

great video but this is still not correct
Both of them?
