    Hey Jesse! Great video. How long and what gauge wire is used in the harness? I saw another video where the harness was run inside the rail through two small drilled and grommetted holes. I don't think they were using heavy enough wire to handle the wattage of their light bar. Thanks!

    why not just split the grommet halfway and slide it over the wire once you push the relay through the hole. you can follow up with some silicone sealant to prevent water ingress at the trunk. Do the same for the firewall grommet. Much better than cutting wires! Also a dab of dielectric grease to keep the connections dry and clean wouldnt hurt especially if you are going trail driving.

    Is there a way to run the wire to the Rear without using Zip Ties on your Side Rails? Looks a little odd having zip ties on ur side rail forever

    • @jesselambros8520

      Yes. Additional options include drilling for p taps, or using an adhesive backed zip tie holder.

    So I am doing some research for this light bar. I know it says DOT approved amber drl, and i'm trying to check that vs the laws in Pennsylvania and I'm coming up empty. Because it is a DOT approved light, would that get around the "off road lighting must be covered" law, or should there be something else i'm looking for. I love the look and would love to use the DRL as it is intended just trying to do some research before hand and didn't know if you had any feedback on this from anyone. Thanks Jesse! Great work!

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  2 роки тому +1

      I am unsure of the Pennsylvania laws about lighters. The amber function allows it to be DOT approved based on the federal DOT requirements for roof mounted lights. Worse case scenario, we do sell a cover specifically designed for our bar. Hopefully this helps and answers your questions.

    Visibly exposed wires on the outside of the car? Zip ties? There HAS to be a way of running the wire down through the A-pillar without having to run them around the whole car.

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  2 роки тому +1

    So much wiring, why not use a 6 gang switch panel from auxbeam? Just need to wires, no huge wiring harness and no pulling all these side panels.

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  3 роки тому

      To wire this correctly, you need to wire it exactly as shown. That's the cleanest way of doing it WITHOUT running a wire down the windshield.

    Man I don’t know bout wiring it front to back kinda seems like a waste of time and material another commenter said easier to drill and grommet and maybe not even have to drill

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  5 місяців тому

      We provide a solution so a customer does not have to drill through their roof. There is the possibility that the roof could leak afterwards, and we would hate for our customers to go through a situation like that. If you wanted to drill through the roof, you can still use this harness, you would simply tuck the extra wire up into the headliner.
