Super awesome at explaining everything in detail! Can’t wait for the upgraded re-wire video! 🔥
Really clean install. Great job, and thanks for the detailed video.
That’s for the information I was wondering were to come through the firewall with my switch
Thanks for the video
Clean set up
Thanks! I tried. Haha
I went wireless on mine. Been running it that way for 4 years no issues.
Trigger? 😀
@@thisguyvlad17 I use both a remote and have two of the garage door openers functioning as wireless switches. Takes a lighting project from hard work to a 10 minute job at most. Wireless technology is pretty reliable now
Gotcha, yeah. Maybe I'll do that for another video or project.
Make a video of your set up
@@TroutWest thank you for this! I just set it up in about 2 min. down side is i have to use one button for on, and 1 for off
Hello Vlad great video I’m subscribed to your channel, i’m having issues on my 2016 jeep grand Cherokee Limited my headlights will not turn off. They’re always on when the car is running.. the only time my headlight turned off is when I turn off my car. I already replaced the headlight control knob switch, and I went throughthe Uconnect settings for daytime running lights still lights stay on while the car i running, and I can’t access my fog lamps, it’s driving me crazy
Have the exact same setup but would you know why my gang switch panel is still lit up even though my car is off? And will this kill my battery if on overnight?
If your switch is still on, then yes it will drain the battery. Not sure about overnight, but I think you might have it wired to constant power instead of switched power. Like it being switched on when the ignition is on or in acc mode.
Is this grommet the same on a 2015 summit?
Yes, it is the same. There is also another grommet behind the glove box on the passenger side.
Just had same switch panel but one of the button does not work on mine now it does not click or Cant turn it on anymore do you have any idea how to fix it?
Hi and thanks for your video. Where can i buy one of those lighting relay systems from? Thanks in advance John (England Uk)
Negatives for your lights? Those just get connected below with the ground for fuse box?
Meant to say grounds
What year is yours? I have a 2021 and theres so much they dont make yet for 2021 and up.
Do you have a WK2 or the new body WL?
@thisguyvlad17 it's a wk2 I didn't know the internal designation on the other body style, thanks for that too!
Everything from 2016+ is compatible with your 2021. Only changes were the infotainment in 2018, and then again in 2019, which is what yours is now.
@@thisguyvlad17 excellent thanks! That's the info that they never tell you
Did you ground each light individually?
Yeah, I did. Only because I didn't want to run the ground to the other end.
I have a 2014 jeep grand cherokee n I would like to put a light bar somewhere mounted inside front grill any suggestions? Thanks
Actually, I do I have 2 options. One of them I'll be doing on mine.

@@thisguyvlad17 Thanks👍
Is this Vegas by any chance? Looks like it to me
Yes, yes it is.
@@thisguyvlad17 Oh cool! I realized after watching another one of your videos, saw the same smiths gas station that I use.
Awesome! Maybe we'll run into each other.
I know this is an old video, but I’m also in Vegas and also have a jeep grand Cherokee haha. Also, how did you get just your fog lights to come on and stay on? I used your other videos to upgrade all of my lights but would like the ability to just have my fog lights on
Awesome another local! Set your headlight knob to parking mode and the parking/turn signal lights will be on and you can choose for the fogs to be on or off.
Hello, did you ever rewire the lights?
Do you mean with the new system?
I’m no expert, but I don’t think your fuse is doing anything. When you hook up to the positive nut, its powered. It goes to your control box. The other wire going the other way is just an extra wire w/a fuse in it. If you were to cut that wire, or take the fuses out, I don’t think it’d do anything.
RJ you're talking about the yellow wire going into the Jeep fuse box correct?
@@thisguyvlad17 @6:11 the red wire... "add a fuse kit"
Correct the red lead coming off the add a fuse would be used as 12v power to a device or piece of equipment. But the way you have it hooked up isn’t exactly hurting anything just isn’t serving a purpose.
👍
What does the Zombie button do? 😁
Sirens, Alarms, Spinning Wheel of Death, Slice & Dicers and a Toaster for my buttered toast.
