Good video. Not a fan of how visible the power cord is, is there some way of hiding that better? Were you ultimately able to remove all the wind noise ?
Yes, the edge trim I have linked in the description totally got rid of the wind noise. As for the wiring. I've still yet to find a better mounting place. Perhaps running it front the back of the bed and mounted to the rail it's self some how.
@@AdventureGT exactly that trim and I did more than 3 rows to justify besides the top 2 rows of the light bar. IdDK what is going on here.. When I tilt the light bar up tho it stops??
That's is strange. Yeah, twisting it up will stop the whistle. But putting the edge trim on the bottom should for sure get rid of the noise so it can be pointed straight. If you messages us on insta I can take a pic and show you how mine is oriented
So far amazingly! Driving at night in winter with this light bar is perfect for finding deer. Especially when the light is retracting off of the snow. 0 complaints as of yet. That is, after the mounding trim was added to fix the whilst. Its a great performing light bar.
i thought that too for a bit, but it seems the transmission that comes with the turbo engine has been having alot of problems and makes the car less capable. now im very glad i got the AWD SE
Gotta couple of reasons! I drive country roads with high deer population in the mornings and I feel like it really helps. We have a video where we went night exploring and it performed amazingly. Plus, it just looks cool in my opinion haha. Other than that I like goofy looming utes. The Santa cruz matches my baja and my el camino
I even don’t have Santa Cruze yet, this video is so wholesome.
I may just have to get this light bar. 👍🏻
Cool light set up
Great video, very informative, but sure would like to know why you cut the wires?
The plastic connector wouldn't fit threw the grommet hole. Wish the connector was a bit smaller lol
I gotta have the factory look. For resale/trade in purposes. Maybe for a 2030 Santa Cruz. 🤷♂️

Where does one procure those clamps? I know you said "in- house," but I've been looking for a similar solution but can't find snything....
There's a link for them in the video description.
I'm waiting on your next upgrade video, which should be some mud guards.
Welcome to the Santa Cruz Family! We actully have a Rally Armour Mud guard video out in our Santa Cruz Playlist.
Love the RPF1's on the Cruz! Do tell about the wheel and tire specs?
So it's a 17 inch wheel and a 31 inch tire, I'll have a full video breakdown in two weeks. About the biggest tire you can run, and what its like!
Where did you get the brackets for the roof rails?

Nice!!
I have an early 2000's Subaru Baja that I would like to add one of these to. Could you do it for me. I live in your area.
You've already got some -_-
What’s size of rims and tire you have in the SC??
They are 17s amd the tires ate 31"s. There's a video about them in the santa cruz playlist
Did the same light bar set up and still have a whistle sound after door trim :(
Did you happen to use the door trim that I've linked below? Did you do 3 rows of them?
@@AdventureGT exactly that trim and I did more than 3 rows to justify besides the top 2 rows of the light bar. IdDK what is going on here.. When I tilt the light bar up tho it stops??
@@AdventureGT I went ahead and ordered more of it to put it at the top. Other wise I guess I will have a whistle that I can adjust.

What is wrong with you. Every other mid size trucklette looks like a squared off washing machines
