I would try to tone the platonic flirting down, especially if you're a girl, because you don't want people to think that you're the flirty type because that could ruin your reputation. Just be nice and kind, and keep it at a professional level. You work with these people so only keep it friendly and professional with people you are not into, you should only flirt with the person you want to be with romantically in my opinion.

So there's this cute co-worker on the company I work for. We work quite far from each other, but we are getting to work by the same bus. We had like two discussions when she started working here, like two days ago she winked at me, the next day she sat next to me and we had a great conversation. Is asking her out during valentines day a good idea or is it too quick? Not as a date, but much rather as a hangout, to get to know each other better. Is it a good idea to choose this specific day or should I wait until I get to know her better before asking out?
I mean you can still ask for a hangout. But valentine might be a little too much... well, it depends on how you both are in the first place.

Okay so, every now and then I get into my best friend's brother (she knows) but I've always got over it cause it's embarrassing and it would complicate everything (their parents are like my second ones).
The thing is, since I came back from london this December I feel like he's flirting with me and now I can't stop thinking about him🤦♀️
I'm a shy person so it's very hard to , you know, look at his eyes or talk normally to him and I unconsciously ignore his glance like the DEATH. I repeat to myself "keep being cool and talk to your best friend like every single word she says it's gold"
Nevertheless... I failed. We looked at each other for a second and only God knows what it felt like.
Idk his pupils were different but I can't be 1000% sure. I don't want to be rejected but it's frustrating not doing what my mind imagines to do ( shy and awkward but not as innocent as you would think ahhaha).
