6 years ago I decided to teach myself guitar, at 40. Lasted about a month. 4 years ago Captain and Chappers inspired me to do it again and that time it stuck. Now Mick and Pete have given me more reason to practice with my electric and my acoustic. Thanks guys. Great videos.
Love all the videos this channel have been putting out recently, great presenters and some of the best content coming from a great music store (alongside Rob's channel of course!)
Amazing demo - full of info and explanations with great playing. Just LOVE the jamming at the end. If there's one thing that always lifts my spirits it's seeing musicians enjoying each other's company and playing. Wonderful. (Just checked the Andertons website and only the black electro version now seems to be stocked - that's a shame.)
Bloody brilliant ... had the 'naked' version when it was first released as a smaller bodied guitar with great sound for the wife to noodle on. It's so good I pinch it all the time and it's only got better. Hard to beat a PJE designed guitar!
Really wanted Mick to play the cedar topped burst, it is more of a blues sounding 12 fretter, seems like they had each others models thoughout and we didn't the best out of each???
The Cutaway is not the "Newest", this Kind of Cutaway is used by Khaya (Division of well known Company Lakewood) since 2010 approx. as Khaya-Cutaway. The Pro of this is making the Higher Frets playable very comfortable without cropping too much "Body" of the Guitar...
I noticed some scuffs and dings in the rear binding of the sunburst model. Were those manufacturing defects or something acquired in-store? Oh, good jam at the end.
Among others, yes Stephen. Martin is a wonderful player! And of course Eric Roche, Clive Carroll, Doc Watson, Reverend Gary Davis, Eric Bibb.... So many awesome players. I've met and interviewed most of them I'm honourwd to say. (Not the old dudes, of course...)
I went to watch Martin play in an old theatre earlier this year, mesmerizing experience. Talked to him a few times about his playing and his guitars/Banjos, incredibly humble person.
I think Martin Taylor did the stereo thing. According to the liner notes on Artistry, Yamaha made him a stereo guitar ( Yamaha AEX Martin Taylor model). Made it sound like it was two guitars - one on the left playing the base line and one on the right playing the treble/melody,

The Anderton's Channel is seriously my favorite channel because of stuff like this. The jam to close out the video was epic

Please just upload a full video of that. Or an hour. Or an entire CD. Or a couple. Or more.
Great episode, amazing jam, funny ending. 10/10
I really dig the stuff that Mick plays. Interesting player.

Really nice playing and tone guys. :-)
Some fantastic playing from Mick in this one. Has some strong Bron-Yr-Aur vibes in his playing just beautiful
I live round the corner from bron yr aur!
love the blues jam at the end. Could you do some PRS acoustics.
Mick channelling some cottage in Wales type progressions there. Nice.
Zeppelin reference?
Lovely DADGADdery from Mick there - I wish all acoustic demos had alternate tuning sections!
what a great jam!
Awesome playing guys
nice guitar.. love it
Brilliant stuff...!!
Stereo that way is fine if you want to spice up certain strings with some FX but keep others clean. I actually think this is very cool feature.
awesome

I'm still smiling
I love the dude on the left's playibg style
playing* using my phone!
they would make any reasonable guitar sound great!
Two owls were talking about relationships and one said “I’ve just got married” the other said “You twit twoo”
17:36 such a Bert and Ernie moment
Shaker Bag Finish..... Classic : )
Record an acoustic blues album together guys
Nice
Seems I am naturally draw to a cedar top more than the spruce

Oh, good jam at the end.
Martin Simpson influence mick?

Does anyone in Guildford progress mentally beyond the age of fourteen?
Shaker music in Britain? Who knew?
