@@eecarabin I wash, finger detangle, and plait mine in small sections. A good conditioner/leave in (esp as a prepoo) is essential but it is a workout.

I love the care and time you took with her hair. You didn't cut any corners to take less time because that can easily pull the hair out and cause damage. Whatever you charged was well worth the price. My daughter has 4c hair and I would definitely put her in your chair.

i like to detangle during the moisturizing shampoo. the slip makes it so much easier to get through. that way, you don’t have to worry about detangling hair that’s already starting to dry.
I do both 🤍 but when it starts to dry I keep my spray bottle handy ☺️

Whew, the shrinkage on 4c hair is real. I just took down my box braids after having them installed after 3 months. My hair looks just like hers does before the press. I can't even imagine how long my own hair has grown.
How do you keep your box braids looking fresh for 3 months?

I'm not sure I'd consider it a SILK press per se but it turned out great non the less. Glad to see the results of natural styling by a hairdresser too and seeing so much healthy hair nowadays gives me such a proud feeling💜. I really enjoyed seeing clients happy and feeling confident when I did their hair. 🥰

I swear, 4C hair always straightens the best, relaxed or natural. It always looks so heavy and yaki! Hair like mine just looks like bundles, but 4C hair looks natural. I hope that makes sense.

Ok, so my 6 yr old daughter has hair very similar: thick, dry, & long.. but lots of shrinkage (the struggle & shrinkage is REAL). But I have the most trouble with it being dry. I've tried leave ins, moisturizers, detanglers, puddings, creams, oils.. you name it. But nothing seems to work in regard to moisture. Do you have any suggestions for this?
I actually do! I currently use the miche beauty line check them out on Instagram their products are amazing for dry natural hair.
