I understand Cole’s fear anxiety but I am so glad for both that Charisma has this job. It is good for their relationship and it is great for Charisma to be away from her caregiver task for a while. I used to be a caregiver for 24 hours for my husband, but every week a volunteer or paid helper would take over for a few hours and every month for a day or two and in a year I could go away for a week or so and they would take over or he would be admitted to a place to stay if it is more then a day. This all paid by our health insurance . I could keep doing these caregiver tasks with love because I knew I could share these tasks without having to feel guilty and I could the do things you could not do with person that is not able to walk. And believe it or not my husband had a male helper and they did do and talk about other things he did with me so he loved the arrangements. We missed each other when I was gone for one or more nights as we missed the routine together . So I am glad for Charisma and hope Cole with get used to it too

Awww Cole, that wasnt your body but your mind. Anxiety can cause great pain in our bodies. I have severe anxiety and people have always been surprised to hear that because I am such a strong person and have a very outgoing personality. Our minds are very powerful and our body's response can sometimes manifest very unusual responses. So you were right that you were feeling shivers that came from within, because they did! A blanket isnt going to help. Just breathing and trying to calm your mind will. Charisma, so proud you are sitting on a board that brainstorms so many different and new ideas on how to help spinal sufferers. I know it can be a bit intimidating, but you have so much to offer. Yes, some of them may have more education in the medical field, but they realize your importance and that you can actually answer questions and offer insight they cant, because you LIVE IT every day, so who's better qualified than you??? Boards work because each member has knowledge and different ideas to offer. So good luck, enjoy your new position and you and Cole enjoy this time apart. This is a must for all couples. I'm in a wheelchair and I work 2 full time jobs...career woman. My husband is more of a stay at home caregiver because we also have a 8 year old daughter in a wheelchair. I still make sure he gets a break to chill and do what he wants to do. Caregiving is hard and even tho i don't need much help, i appreciate him so much! ❤

I'm glad you guys are back together again. This month I am making a trip to NYC too. Its about 140 miles that I have to travel by car from Connecticut to a section of Queens, called Rockaway. I'll be gone two days and one night, and I sure am going to miss my lady at home. That's about as far, and as long as I want to go these days. Cole, I can sure understand how you felt. Our ladies mean so much to us.

I'm in a wheelchair and I work 2 full time jobs...career woman. My husband is more of a stay at home caregiver because we also have a 8 year old daughter in a wheelchair. I still make sure he gets a break to chill and do what he wants to do. Caregiving is hard and even tho i don't need much help, i appreciate him so much! ❤

I'm glad you guys are back together again.
This month I am making a trip to NYC too.
Its about 140 miles that I have to travel by car from Connecticut to a section of Queens, called Rockaway.
I'll be gone two days and one night, and I sure am going to miss my lady at home.
That's about as far, and as long as I want to go these days.

It was also so adorable when Cole explained how his body reacted to Charisma leaving and how you both show your love and how you miss each other, and how close you guys are to your families.
