@@jamie33030 Pc was the worse. By the time you get the game going properly,you’ve invested more money than you should have. A $60 game really ended up a lot more. And that’s IF you like the game. Not including the ridiculous mods
not at brother if u play on regular servers with extra loot and vehicle u will have good fun on it
We need a DayZ 2 with a complete overhaul of graphics and animations. As it is the devs are fighting a losing battle trying to patch a sinking ship with duct tape. The engine is just way too old and only getting more dated as time goes on

DayZ is the only game I see playing into my retirement. Despite the fact that there always seem to be one bug or another, it's still more entertaining to play than most games I've come across. And, of course, I could not be more excited for the new map coming, Sakhal. The fact that it is a small map means more crazy engagements. I'd rather run into players more often than run around for hours just to find bullets for the IJ I've been carrying the whole time. Anyway. Jumping on DayZ now.
I can’t lie that new map might bring me back , I got 4k hours on ps4/5 and the last year or 2 I just hop on every few months on livonia and it’s dead kinda , this new map finna defo bring me bakcn

Raining here on my day off. Fired up the game as soon as she pulled the door on her way out to work. 8 hours with only 2 deaths (so far) 😊
That's good going. I went last night for about 4 hours, lost my friend to a rogue bullet and decided I'd just respawn, so lost all my gear just to meet back up xD
2 weeks without dying was my record on a official server with a medium population
All those hours not running or leveling up in real life. Sounds like your wasting your actual life when you could be getting after it while the wife is out 😢 A lady will only wait for so long

I wish every craft had its own animation. Kinda dumb when using a saw to cut wooden planks you just tie your shoes
I know they've been adjusting sounds and playing with the crafting a little bit, so there is every possibility that comes eventually

Ive been playing on and off for years now. If were going to be real - theres nothing more fun than the first time you get on after a while. It gets boring very very quick and you lose all purpose. Then its back to 'what now'
Nah I have to disagree. Unless you are playing low pop servers the game always feels fresh. There is always a new encounter along the journey.
I always wished they’d add the camo net as a craftable item in the same way you’d craft a ghillie suit. Maybe they have? Idk, I stopped playing about 2 years ago. Love the game, but wanted more time to play other games in the backlog.
I often come back to DayZ (although I'm not good at PVP, so I just treat it as a pure survival/exploration game), and I'm always a bit disappointed that the game still feels a bit "clunky" in a way. I guess with the engine showing its age, it can't be helped though...
Looking forward to the new props, buildings and interiors on the new map though!
I'm the same way as you. My heart races and I get anxiety when another player is near 😂 I just like trying to stay alive and looting.
It’s starting to look real bad. All you see are UA-camrs playing nowadays with a very few die hard fans
@@sandhanitizer15 people don't mention this enough - the heart racing - i don't think it's by deliberate design, it's just that after spending 4+ hours looting up, your brain knows how much effort that took and that this random other player could take it away with the pull of a trigger. My first ever pvp moment years ago my heart nearly knocked out of my chest!! this ain't COD - in DayZ your life feel more like a life.
Can they add like 10 new guns? Just to spice up the loot pool. Mid tier mili bases are so boring as you only ever get ak 74, sks or m16. They should add improved variants of the guns seen in the game such as famas f2 or m16 a4
I think as big as the game is on console, pc.modded is where its at. Not worth playing unless you're aiming to play that imo
That’s where the game fails. Because of this and server issues, Money on the fact there won’t be a dayz 2 considering how long this game been out. I wanted this game to be more successful but the community lost themselves to mods instead of using that energy to crate an actual game that works. Mods is just another way of putting a bandage on dodo
Dont forget to mention the horrific duping problem on console. I figure maybe this video is pc oriented but on console theres multiple game breaking glitches out right now from duplication to invisibility to the rendering issue on game reboot wich allows people to see into bases before raiding
I want to play this game more but it’s just not worth it imo on console. The game I still quite broken in ways and the game is unnecessarily difficult in some aspects. Though I do just fine surviving, it’s just annoying with some things.

Bought the game in the first month of console release and have never regretted it. Only wish there was an offline option with easy to use server modding menus.

Definately. Zeds are back to thier old selves, although they do seem to be a little more aware, so maybe not a complete reversion, but they won't be hearing you or seeing you from a mile away, or inside a house.
Id honestly say wait. The constant cheaters on vanilla and BS admin banning on community makes it such a pain to play if you know what youre doing. The Devs need to fix the anti cheat for vanilla so a 2 hour run isnt ended by a guy shooting you through concrete a mile away. And community has the issue of either modding in too many weps or outrageous mods that dont fit the game, or you have admins that abuse their powers and kick you for killing them in a survival game. The only reason to still play is for the interactions, but wven they ate getting few and far between.
Its a decent game with potential, but for the last decade the devs have done mostly nothing but squander any hope of the game truly being worth the time since evey update brings game breaking bugs and new glitches for people to abuse.
2k hours on it, and will still keep playing. But cant reccomend to new players.
I'm an official solo veteran.
Would be nice to have some official players to run with again.
They need to make the game fun without all the mods than we’ll all come back

Dayz 2 with more mods avaliable for consoles
Honestly, the game doesn’t feel “updated” Comparing this to the modded game makes think why bother (I am console so no mods) playing. No currency in servers no heists no interesting armour. (Why don’t we have any soviet bulletproof vests and helmets???????) The lack of graphical updates also hurts Dayz a lot. That’s just my opinion
But currency, heists and everything else doesnt make sense. DayZ is not that type of game adding all that to it would be unnecessary and completely ruin DayZ. Mods are optional but not a standard

People that bitch and nit-pick DayZ, frig off and go play COD. DayZ is awesome and keeps getting better. To me this is because it is truly an open world and you can make the game whatever you want. The only negative about DayZ in my opinion is the idiots that want to cheat with aim bots, ESP and all that crap. DayZ has endless possibilities. Greatest game ever in my opinion. And I know I'm not alone.

If they took the hunger and thirst out I’d be all over it I own the game on Xbox but that just kills it for me and keeps me away from it I played about 31 hours of it in the spand of 4 years of owning it. If I wanted to baby something and babysit someone or something I’d just have my own kid instead of playing this game.💀😅
Honestly if your playing on console dont even buy it you just be dealing with lag, constant crashing, and people who constantly use glitches the only good thing about this game is the community without it the game is trash

true that.....went down that road many times now with a base,gear,team mates etc its way funner
