haha, when I run solo I'm great at keeping my character light, but when I run with my group they are all hoarders and fill their field and mountain backpacks up ridiculously fast. Then they look at me running a dmr and pistol with an assault backpack and say we need someone to carry this badly damaged vaiga, 5 damaged knives and 3 spare hunting jackets lol. Every Single Time...
I still hoard but it's because I spent a week starving to death when I first started.

7:43 I agree to a certain extent when your first starting off make sure you eat everything you see after try to keep 1-2 pieces of meat they go a long way
A lot of great advice, vast majority already SOP for me but rags undisinfecting when they take damage answers a question I've had for ages but never bothered to find out 😂 Thanks! Also rag shoes are like slippers. You don't do distance but great for indoors pvp because they're so quiet.

I don’t get it, he had no problem when our characters fed each other.
Day z is amazing. When I'm bored I try different play styles. Like stealthy ghillie sniper and stalk people or squads until you see a opportunity to get easy kills/loot

5:19 so there’s an “overwhelm” type mechanic in the game where u can bum rush a player and the more you smack em around with consecutive hits the more overwhelmed they get causing a fast KO……..I’ve been here since the LAR first hit servers and I didn’t even know that I ALWAYS thought the game was plain BROKEN when it came to bum rushing an armed person.
Question, how can we craft a leather backpack so close to the coast if garden lime is so hard to find? And you need garden lime to make tanned leather🤔

Incidentally, there's also a sticker on them (or at least there was 20 years ago) that said do not eat... The fact that that sticker was required tells you a lot about the anticipated intelligence of the people using this device 🙂

The removal of pants in water isn’t really necessary. They can be rung to damp. Plate carrier, gloves, shoes and if you don’t have a leather pack backpack too.

They need to add more character customization, more transportation options but still make it rare such as: bikes, atv’s, etc. Add smaller wildlife to hunt and a craft able water holding item
Why? The point is to make it as realistically impossible...
I agree with character customization. Bohemia is sitting on a goldmine and arent capitalizing on it, maddens me from a business perspective

Unknown: You can eat up to (depending how you count single or double) 12 or 6 bites at a time. Wait until your stomach arrow goes down and repeat.
Rotten food: You can eat up to one inventory slot worth of a rotten item without getting sick. Meaning a rotten apple (1 slot) at 99% is good in one go. A cucumber (3 slots) is good for 32% in one go. A pumpkin (4 slots) good for 24% in one go etc.
Any recommendations for groups like discord or something for learning.
Not really, I think the best way to learn is by watching UA-cam videos and playing. I'm not aware of any learning discords unfortunately =[

I mean it depends on how you were into these games Do you like to play a game where you're just kind of alone and running to people from here and there or do you play other games that are repetitive. The game is all what you make it.
Equipping bright clothing is actually meta as fugg. So like Just don't be a dumb dumb or get caught lacking everyone's profiling it's dangerous.

You shouldn't eat everything you find. If youre already completely full, it depletes faster than if youre in the sweet spot just past yellow and in the white.
You should eat everything, he even says this in the video, the benefits of eating far outweigh the extra couple minutes you get. Unless youre a new player or someone who isnt very good at the game eat everything

Yes, for immunity, given the changes to the immunity system and because it would be stupid to carry 8 steaks with you and take up all that space. Plus all the other reasons the guy mentions in the video. Your two options are leave the steaks you cant be bothered cooking or eat all the stakes, carrying them is stupid. In just over an hour they'll be rotten anyway. Always eat the food you find
@@CarlSagan-ew8tw no. That is dumb. Cook all the steaks you can carry, eat what you need and save the rest for later. If I'm already geared and trying to meet up with someone across the map, I'm not going to stop in every little town to find cans of food. I'll carry steaks.

If you take a multivitamin first you can eat pretty much anything without getting sick, including the entire unknown food can and even raw meat!
Here’s a tip, don’t bother playing it at all because hackers and cheaters will steal your stuff! Waste of time.

The bandage is around 3 seconds, the bandana is around 8 seconds. Also, you can't stack bandanas (unlike bandages) so if you get multiple cuts you can't continuously heal =]

If you want true survival Dayz come join my server LIVE-DIE-REPEAT its pve but the world will kill you enough so you don't need people shooting at you too, zombies are extra hard bears and wolves everywhere and the best loot is way up north but there is free loot at green mountain lol 😆

Dayz just feels too repetitive without any goal which is the point of dayz but still it gets boring I get surprised by people that can make content with it for hours on end on a stream
DayZ itself is a blank canvas. It puts you in a world with no rules and tells you to survive by any means. It's only limited by your imagination =]

That's why you need to have an imagination. There's more to it than just running around mindlessly killing. There's base building, hunting, fishing, exploring, fixing cars, trucks, zombies, farming and of course interaction with other players. Not only PVP, but there's pve and roleplay. But it requires some imagination and creativity.
