Yeah,I got same thing as you,except it's a pillow,I've got it since I was 4 from my mother,and I never ever try to throw it away,I just can't,it's my pillow,it's got a different feeling when i'm sleeping on this one than if i'm sleeping on that one. And since my mother died a year ago,it seems even harder to just 'let it go' ,my dad knows about the pillow and he doesn't try to take it away,but I'm scared that in the future it's going to be a problem since it's,pretty,pretty old and the inside of it might be moldy and I don't want it to start smelling too bad even if i can't tell if it smells bad.

My 35 year old daughter still sleeps with her Raggedy Ann doll and it looks tons worse than this lady's doll! I have tried to get rid of it and she goes into hysterics. My son in law has put "dolly" in the freezer, in top of the cabinet , hung into the ceiling fan among other places. I have bought her a new one to replace it but to no avail. It is gross, dirty, falling apart but she loves her dolly. I thought my daughter was the only one who has this problem, so glad to know she isn't alone! Gotta love their dolly!

I personally dont think it's weird or crazy for a a adult to sleep with a doll or stuffed animal they have had since childhood. I have a close family friend who has a stuffed bunny shes slept with since infancy. Maybe the days of snuggling your stuffed animal or doll should be over but if she just keeps it on her bed the theres nothing wrong with that.

I got my pillow is like a voodo pillow 2 haha 24 years but after i marry 8 years ago i put her to my memory box . I havent look inside the box for last 6 years . You can do it the seame . Just make little box for your doll and put it on your wordrope . If u need to see her open the box . But not so often xxxx

I still sleep with the stuffed tiger I had when I was a kid. But my tiger is in way better shape than that doll. I only sleep with it because I started having a hard time getting to sleep. I only take him with me on trips to help me get to sleep. I don't flaunt it around not because it's embarrassing but because it's no ones god damn business. Why on god's green earth would you take that on national television. I don't plan on getting rid of my stuffed tiger because he was a really big part of my child hood and I just can't get rid of it. I probably won't keep him forever but if I do, I'll do my best to make sure that he is in good condition. If anyone watch Adventure Time you'd know Marceline had a stuffed toy. It meant a lot to her so she kept it around because it was given to her by Simon. My tiger is like that for me, I forgot who gave it to me but I know it was given to me by either my parents or my grandma. It's not easy to just get rid of something important to you even if you really don't need it anymore.
