Hello! I replaced a Pioneer AVH-A315 with a DMH-A245 on a Honda Ridgeline. Steering controls were working fine. When configuring SWC on the DMH-A245 I see that the volume up/down control is seen as a single button by the radio; same with CH up/dn. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

This won’t work for me. I have the exact same stereo as you and everything. Went to my local stereo shop and got the wires and stuff needed to fit my car but the steering wheel control won’t work.
Howdy, I have the DMH-W4660NEX and also do not see “steering wheel control” setting. Does this setting show up after you connect the steering wheel adapter? Trying to get my Jeep Patriot steering wheel controls to control the radio. Thanks
Is this for no adaptor at all or with an adaptor because i dont see it when i turn on my radio and go to the settings,or is this for certain versions i have the AVH501EX version.
@@AboutSoundNZ I have the SWI RC1 module and I cant find on NO youtube channels that explains where to install it,like what wires get connected to the module.I googled,youtube,etc even the directions didnt explain WHERE it goes but that the wires are color coded.NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!
@@billydee3400 You're best to go to your local Car Audio shop. The connections and programming are vehicle/radio dependent so there isn't just a standard way they all wire up.
@@AboutSoundNZ Thanks,Idk why it seems confusing when its really not,I jus need somebody with the same radio I have to make a video explaining what harness to tap into then it would be much easier for me.

F9880bt has no steering wheel control menu option

I'm not sure on that model sorry. The direct connection (no adapter) was only added from about 2017 so maybe yours is an older model?

It’s the radio plus the car model.. go on the website where you have the module.. it should show you everything
