As one of those guys who has listened for years without understanding what Pageau was saying, I'm glad I stuck around.
I'm enjoying your dialectics with Pageau and othess.r I hope your audience grows. Religious thought for those who try to understand and think about beliefs.
I feel like we are seeing God pick up many disparate threads and weave them in a way no one expected. In the end, I suppose he will pick up all the threads and put this world back together
So many of these discussions have just opened up my mind or fleshed out these great people's thinking for me in a way I hadn't imaged. So excited for what's to come

Why that part specifically?
The whole little story he tells
makes me feel bad for cat ladies, in the past society would channel them into religious avenues that actually had a chance of lifting them out of the muck
these days we have these skin suit ideologies that offer the same promises to desperate people, but fail to follow through
I kept wanting everyone to talk more about Owen Barfield and Final Participation. I also felt Mark Vernon would have been a wonderful addition to this DIALOGOS
@@300387ful i do recall this as well somewhere. I get why people are turned off by Rudolf Steiner. He's not easy to digest. But it should not deter people from Barfeild and the incredible relevance his idea of "final participation" has in regards this ongoing conversation in this corner of the internet. Mark Vernon needs to brought in to these conversations!
I feel the same, his ideas really need to be brought to the spotlight and it's a shame they rarely if ever show up as a topic of discussion anywhere in this strand of thinkers apart from Mr Vernon and Mr Power. I believe it's related to Barfield's connection with Rudolf Steiner. Don't quote me on this, but I vaguely recall Jonathan saying that he kept his writings at a distance due to the possible influence of Anthroposophy in them. I am most certainly wrong and misremembering though.
@@tara_artist Totally. Let's hope they get involved eventually. I've seen Mark popping up on Paul's channel for some time now so this may be closer than we think!
