I use mine as my daily watch, it is a nice small watch for me, as I have a G-Shock Rangeman 9400-1 for anything really hard out and for anything at night. I had mine on a black NATO like your one, but started to get a bit smelly as I like in a hot and humid country and sweat a lot. The strap was a bit narrow for me, so I bought a 22mm rubber strap and trimmed the part of it that connects to the watch down to 18mm. I really like it as it makes the watch more substantial and more rugged looking on the wrist.
you can buy nato strap adapters for the mrw200.. from 18 to 22mm..

Yes it does rotate, both ways held by friction. I find it good for timing things. I recommend you buy it.
