A *Like* and a *Comment* will help the substrate retain moisture! It's true!
👁👄👁
great premiere notification 👍
Really appreciate your efforts brother. ❤
Thank you 😊
Another great video! Yaee for moisture retention!
🎊
Love your Videos.
Thank you Dirt 🙏
I get that you’re doing spawn to bulk, but I think either some micro tape or a layer of vermiculite would help the fungus grow with a lessened chance of contamination until you actually do transfer it to the bulk substrate. Loved the pasteurization vs sterilization btw!
I haven’t watched this video in ages but I think you’re talking about the sterilized manure I put into jars. I figured it wouldn’t make a difference really as if it’s sterile, just a tiny bit of anything will contam it anyways as it has no defenses. When I put them into jars, they had already been exposed to the open air and my hands, even with gloves that have been alcohol’ed down, it’s still not sterile. But I did solve this problem and now I have no issues at all with poo contaminating, and that was doing a 12 hour pasteurization (not 1.5hr as I do in the vid). Thanks for your comment
What exactly is your pasteurization technique? Sous vide or oven? Bag or other container?
Appreciate your videos and i have been watching them recently!

How long will my coco stay clean for? Like do I have a week to use it, or the second I open that bucket lid am I cookin?
Weeks usually
Have you made a video on cob mold and is it true you can battle it with peroxide or lime?
I’ve never encountered it so I can’t say. It’s actually a rare type of mold, not nearly as common as people think. Lime would make some sense along with peroxide, although I’ve only heard of peroxide being used to see if it’s truly cobweb mold and not mycelium, rather than actually battling it. Basically with mole you’ll always lose sooner or later.
Thanks brother bought couple grow bags thought it'd be easier but they had holes, put in shoebox let it colonized and added coir to top it

Why dose your jars not have mycropore tape?
Because I’m not doing PF TEK, I’m spawning to bulk so they will be exposed to the open air/gloves regardless of whether I tape them or not.
Looks like your house is just covered in trich spores if ALL of them have it
Nope, doesn’t work like that
pretty sure you are supposed to use dehydrated manure for substrate
No lol
😂😮❤🍄
🐦
I heard poo lovers mycelium looks similar to cobwebs is that true
I think so
Definitely more wispy than coir lovers but not as pubey as cobweb mold 😂
I dig it haha
Has anyone ever used natural ways to keep bacteria away like tea tree oil or other methods to sterilizing the air
Not adding to substrate just for air
I take horse manure, dry it, and then run it through a window screen, which removes all wood/particles. I haven't used it YET, but will report back.
?
@@benlockwood749 What's the confusion? Reporting back, it makes a nice substraight.
i never had a problem with sterilization because im on sea level area
fun fact i only do 35 mins PC even on my bulk coir subtrate
I have no problems with sterilization. With coir you don’t need to PC it, you can just pour cold water on it even and it’ll work lol.
@@Mycophilia green mold can take over on coir trust me been there done that im near in a jungle that is why i know

fool proof
200 degrees (2 hours) is sterilization??? I thought you had to go higher...
With a 15 psi PC 1.5 hrs is used to sterilize grains
When is our culture going to finally mature so that we don't have to censor small mouth noises
"Aged cow dung, not fresh."
You mean I shouldn't be sneaking onto the local dairy farm and night and scooping the fresh stuff off of the ground?🥷💩
Yes, it should just smell like rich soil!
@@Mycophilia lol I was only kidding!
@@DangerRussDayZ6533 😂 just had to make sure!
@@Mycophilia and here I was, dressed in my finest ninja costume, with a 5 gallon bucket behind ole' Bessie, getting it fresh from the source. No wonder I was constantly getting contam!
