I don t think anyone should be able to touch or come near the horses. For one thing I don't believe they are trained to endure people's constant touching poking and crowding them. @@masonyoutube7347 Yes, there is a good argument in that. It's not strictly NECESSARY to have the horse guards out there. It is a huge boost to filling the tourism coffers, but i see nothing wrong with some traditions. Unfortunately there will always be some nitwit annoying them. 🤔
Is it me, or do others feel that there should be more restrictions on the crowds around the Horse Guards? I don't think people realise that these are soldiers who fight for their country, who protect their royalty, who can fire a gun if necessary!!

Ridicule of anyone's culture and customs is outright ignorant, yet I'm sure they are well aware of exposure to idiots and knowingly take on the customary roles. The guards & horses are magnificent! But I don’t understand why people on vacation insist on acting like they are in some way superior to the host country, therefore they can do/say whatever they like. You certainly wouldn’t walk up to a mounted police officer & grab the reigns of his horse. If you notice when the horse refuses to box then another guard comes & takes the reins & guides him back in. Taking the reins gives you control of the horse. So these idiots walk up and think they’re entitled to grab the reigns of the King’s Guard? If the King’s Guard is meant to be taken seriously, then they should ban tourists from the area.
It's sad to see how disrespectful people are towards the Guards. They treat it like it's a show. These Guards are soldiers and are there to protect the Royal family and they deserve respect! I hope they change the rules, so people can't get so close to them anymore. It's clear to see it stresses the horses. And people just laugh.
Everyday these working soldiers face disrespect and humiliation from the public for doing their job, it needs to stop. This kind of behaviour doesn't happen at Buckingham Palace. Close this whole area to the public!

It’s right, people do it in that country but damm sure they wouldn’t in their own , so disrespectful
Glad signs up preventing touching now. Next lets set the standard of 6 ft away from guards, horses, box and arches. This is not Disneyland or a petting zoo!!!
There really are some horrible tourists that turn up to disrespect the Kings Guard and take the piss. No other country allows the public to get this close to active service personnel
