I'm no royalist but I'm sitting here with a grin on my face loving the pageantry and respect shown. I find it ironic that Scotland lost her monarchy due to English oppression which created a 'United' Kingdom...but this monarch of the UK loved Scotland more than anything, was happiest there, and chose to end her days in Scotland. There is a divine beauty in that. I admire the Scottish so much, hearing a Scottish marching band of soldiers coming is both awe inspiring and, I would think if they were your foe, utterly terrifying. They certainly look utterly magnificent. Huge respect from this Sassenach.
No. The Scottish King, James the First of England, Sixth of Scotland, took the throne of both countries when Queen Elizabeth 1 died without an heir. Scotland did not lose its monarchy it gained the throne of England. One side of my family comes from the highlands of Scotland and the other side from the lowlands of Scotland so I have no axe to grind just keep historical truth.
And lest we forget, was not her mother - the Queen Mum - Scottish? So all the 'Scot' thing finally dawned on me very recently - mea culpa - pennies dropped late, but finally!
Check yer history mate. In fact Scottish James I of England (James VI of Scotland), did the oppressing. He brought with him, from Scotland to England, his obsession about witches. Hundreds of women were burnt at the stake due to this weird obsession.
Well, the Queen was half Scottish, after all, her mum was, Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. And, I'm not sure which war it was in,or if it was all of them, the Scots were called the "ladies from hell" because of their kilts, and ferocity!!
@@booker0110 Aye because of James IV marrying Margaret Tudor, who put James VI inline to the throne, was actually as well Sir Edward Bruce, 1st Earl of Kinloss who accompanied King James VI as well, later was made Master of the Rolls, now (not sure about back then) is the chair of the Chancery of the Courts even now.

just goes to show you that while she may appear as a harmless old lady, a gentle grandmother, she is still very much a monarch and leader of her own people, she may appear harmless but she remains a woman with steel

The pony, after realising he has done the deed, basically practises some "social distancing" from the actual deed by shifting his postion and throwing viewers off track.
As the owner of a Shetland pony, or rather her opinion of me as her personal assistant, I laughed at this! Got to love this very composed pony accepting nature's call. God Bless the Queen being equally composed!

Someone should have collected it.

I just can't believe the queen nor the person in charge of the pony did anything. So if they are in war they would stay with the poop. Really is not considering the health of the army. That's why Spanish flu happened before.
LLama Land are u stupid . They don’t do anything about it because they are parading and it would look scrappy if they had to clean it up in the middle of the parade.
The Queen seem to be very interested in the handsome pony. Looks like a very personal parade, the Queen took time to speak to the parade commander, the pony handler and one of band staff. From the Fiji Islands, awesome and God bless the Queen.
When the Queen approaches the pony, you can see her crack a smile; I think she's amused by the pony's deposit.

I love how Queen Elizabeth has so much respect and trust in her people that she can willingly stand out in the court like that. Security was probably very tight, don’t get me wrong, but still, being royalty and just standing out..it’s just great to see how much she trust her people.
But check out the Pony's poo first😂😂 8:29 (just kidding)
just goes to show you that while she may appear as a harmless old lady, a gentle grandmother, she is still very much a monarch and leader of her own people, she may appear harmless but she remains a woman with steel

Queen Elizabeth II is irreplaceable. There will be more queens in the future but they will never measure up to the level and greatness of Queen Elizabeth II.
Queen Elizabeth II is sorely missed by many people who loved, respected her, and cared about her deeply. Her professionalism and integrity as well as her dedication to preserve her heritage and kingdom cannot be compared to other royalties. She was an icon of the British Throne.
