Hey, Chris, I just lost my last pick. And i've decided I want to learn how to use my fingers the way you do. Even if picks are cheap, I think it will just make me more versatile. Can you do/have you done, a video on your picking style? Particularly things like pinch harmonics.
To notch lesson. I don't know if it's all about my current skill level or not, but you went through it at the perfect speed. Didn't get lost, and maybe more importantly, I didn't get bored. Learned it all in barely more time than the length of the video. If I hadn't paused a couple of times to read the tabs it would have be exact. Anyway, good job.
thanks for another awesome lesson, been trying for a while to figure this out but i couldn't get those arpeggios right. Here's to another great video! :D
9:00 Alternatively, instead of the single 22 bend, I sometimes do an e12 and b14or b15 together, with a bend on the b. Gives off a heavier sound. But anyway. Great guide. I really just came here to make sure I was playing it correctly, because I struggled with jumping from the tapping to the next part. But here I see you talking about them maybe doing some hacks on the album. That makes me feel a bit better.
Hey Chris, For future videos, could you sort each solo into a playlist that will tell us how difficult it is, for example: easy, medium and hard. It will make it easier to decide what to learn. I understand if you won't sort existing videos because that'd take some time, but would be helpful on future videos. :) Btw: "smorgasbord"... haha love it!
Hey Chris, awesome lesson as always. I know you have more requests than you can possibly handle, but i wanted to know if you could do another Boston solo lesson! There's a ridiculous amount of win in all of them.
Thank you for this lesson Chris! It was quite helpful. If you get the chance, would you do lesson on the solo from The Black Dahlia Murder's song: Death Mask Divine?
Ah memories! My first real solo! Ever thought of doing any Black Dahlia Murder lessons? Their lead guitarist Ryan Knight is a beast at interesting melodies and techniques... Raped in Hatred by Vines of Thorn! :D Keep it up!

Where the fuck do you put your pick when you do the tapping section o.O its doesn't look like you're holding it and then it reappears like nothing after
Mustlehard Not this one actually, they do play this one in D standard live from what I've seen. It could be played in Drop C as well, but that would make it a little more difficult.
The effortlessness is what kills me. Dude looks like he's daydreaming and counting sheep while playing the solo's.

Listened to this album and track like hell back in the day when it came out, now I nail the solo! Thanks man! nice and easy :)
You're awesome, thanks so much for sharing your talents!
