Literally three days and I know the entire thing even the ending, you're the best instructor i've came across. Just have to speed up a little bit and this will shred, thanks.
Man I can’t tell you how much I have been learning from your amazing guitar lessons. Also the fact that you are considerate to the varied learning speeds of your viewers is such a wonderful attribute of a great teacher. Thanks a ton for these incredible guitar lessons. Huge respect !
damn! brou, i'm a brazilian musician and when i met your channel i stay really happy to have a differentiated teaching to see all solos and improvises. i have the same taste for rock, dream theater, metallica, megadeth, alterbridge, disturbed ultimately. i enter all day to see solos, and you amaze me with the diversity of different guitarists with naturalness and originality, doind kirk, john, dave, mark, and each with its footprint. congrats for ya Chris!
Chris, I just wanted to say that this video is SUPER helpful! This is a very complicated solo that I've always wanted to play on guitar, and I've never found any good tutorial videos for this song's solo. Watching you play this solo inspired me to pick up my guitar and attempt to learn this. Now I'm progressing forward and I look forward to the day I'll be able to play this solo perfectly from start to finish! Thanks to you, I now have the confidence to keep practicing this until I get it! Thank you! (P.S: Sorry my comment is super late, lol.)
Thank you chris, this has helped me so much, hearing the solo I would have never attempted it before but thanks to you, this amazing tutorial has helped me pick it up, I only struggle with the quick tapping in the middle but I'll get there eventually! Amazing guitar and amazing tutorial! Thanks again!!
you do all these lessons selflessly it means so much to us young guitar players to pick up the guitar and learn that solo that we never could by seing tabs or vids countlessly :) thanks man really for all the covers keep them coming :D you are the best world needs more people like you ^^
thank you Chris for this awesome instructional video!I finally found a teacher who explains everything perfectly..not to fast or slow and I don't have to keep rewinding because I get it the first time through..thanks again and your a great guitar player as well..keep rockin
RHCP, Guns and Roses and Joe Satriani canvases! You have a great taste in music, andthis video has helped me so much. I first watched the original one probably two ears ago now and got frustrated because I couldn't play it. Then today I remember this gem of a song and then remembered the video! UA-camd itand saw you had revamped it, now I can play it near perfectly (my fingers still ramp a little) THANKYOU!! :D
I've always wanted to see you do a hands on video with your gear! Especially with that Prs;) Thanks for all the awesome vids man! I'd definitely recommend you to everyone!
I'm trying to learn this song, including the solo but I'm apocalyptically putrid on lead. I'm also musically illiterate, possibly stupid. So the tabs and slow playing are very much appreciated.✌️😎
I love your videos! I absolutely LOVE In My Darkest Hour by Megadeth but can't seem to find a solo lesson video of your caliber, could you possibly do a video for both solos, Dave's and Jeff's? I'm sure loads of people would be EXTREMELY grateful for it!!! Thank you for all you've done and keep the kick Ass videos comin!!!!!
Hey, Chris! I was wondering how you get the third part so clean at the fast pull-off section.. Do you mute with your palm or just let loose a little with the left hand? Otherwise, thanks for an awesome lesson :)
Thank you for posting this video. This has to be the most clear interpretation of a guitar lesson I have ever seen. Please keep up the public service via UA-cam. And thanks again for teaching me the solo for stricken. :)
I hate playing the part at 7:26 ish coz I have a Floyd Rose -- when I bend the 3rd string, the tension pulls the bridge down slightly, so the note on the 2nd string falls flat. Quite irritating coz there's no real way to fix that while the bridge is float-enabled
Always flawless man :D, plus i gotta say your vibrato makes this solo even better. BTW, I know you did a Periphery cover before and I was wondering what you think about the first solo of their song Racecar?
yeah, lots of gain, and using the bridge pickup probably. Also, no offence but if you're new to guitar this probably isn't what you should be starting out with... but rules are made to be broken, if you want to, go for it, it just might be quite difficult!
Great video but I think we have a different idea of what “nice and slow” means
Pause button is key
You have .75 playback speed
Its definitely slow for this song
He breaks it down note for note tho. I went back a couple times and eventually learned this whole solo. Sloppily but i can play it😂
@@brett-1261 I'm about to try learning this but I'm fearing section 4
It took me a bit longer than I had hoped to learn but I can now play this full solo at full speed 100% no mistakes. Thank you Chris Zoupa!!
🧢
That 4th section is a killer.
Literally three days and I know the entire thing even the ending, you're the best instructor i've came across. Just have to speed up a little bit and this will shred, thanks.
Max Niessl is good too, check him out, especially if you're a Tool fan
You are amazing! the amount of effort you put into these lessons is incredible! just wanted to say thank you dude!
Totally agree
Thank you for the nice lesson! I am on "section 3" now, crying.
Thanks Chris! I was in a hurry to learn this song so I could practice with my band this weekend. It helped A LOT.
Congratulations for your work!
Man I can’t tell you how much I have been learning from your amazing guitar lessons. Also the fact that you are considerate to the varied learning speeds of your viewers is such a wonderful attribute of a great teacher. Thanks a ton for these incredible guitar lessons. Huge respect !

RHCP, Guns and Roses and Joe Satriani canvases! You have a great taste in music, andthis video has helped me so much.

Hey, Chris!
I was wondering how you get the third part so clean at the fast pull-off section..
Do you mute with your palm or just let loose a little with the left hand?
Otherwise, thanks for an awesome lesson :)

Section 3 is crippling me, this is the first time I've used pull offs and it's probably not the best place to start😂😢
solos are definitely not the best place to start
Olly Davis truee hahaha try nothing else matters its a great solo to start with
Twin Gamez and enter sandman maybe fade to black too
Haha lol ripppp just play the main riff to seek and destroy a couple million times and you’re set
Isaiah Hernandez and it’s really helps with string skipping as well. Really a great practice riff

A redo of Walk with me in hell would be awesome!
Great tutorial :)
I'm new to guitar, so i'm gonna ask a dumb question. How do you set up your guitar to sound like that?
get an amp that doesnt look like a box or is really dirt cheep, and turn on the distortion section on or the 'gain' button
yeah, lots of gain, and using the bridge pickup probably. Also, no offence but if you're new to guitar this probably isn't what you should be starting out with... but rules are made to be broken, if you want to, go for it, it just might be quite difficult!
