Well im not into the technical details but this video of yours is stunning,definition + clarity,colour,even the music. Ive just had my trip to Paris and i enjoyed seeing it in "Xmas mode" in the daytime and a bit after dark but of course i didnt see such a wide lot of the displays and lights as youve filmed. I could have stayed home + watched your film! Just joking. This time i got to explore more of the city,learn some more bus routes and new bits of districts and see things. It was good to see this city in another season too.

The consistent excellence of your vids is a gift. It certainly helps to have Paris to film (lol). I particularly like the kids climbing wall out side of City Hall.
It's good to have something for the kids. Especially this year, as in the Tuileries market, they don't have the usual ice skating rink.

Most of the smaller ones on the first week of December, but the Tuileries one and the Défense one, the two largest markets start from mid-November.
About "Cour Saint Emilion", you forgot to mention that the place used to be the docks where wine from all over France's vineyards used to be delivered by boat, to the thirsty Parisians ...
And, also, PLEASE do not encourage tourists to use the metro: They'd miss so much of the sights of Paris, as well as encumber a not-very-pleasant but functional way for Parisians to go to work!...
Promote our excellent bus network, our next-to-free rental bikes and ... walking!
If I agree with you that using the bus network is very good for sightseeing, I'm afraid that if you want to go go from one point to another conveniently and on time, the metro still is the solution.
@@paristoptips Precisely! To go from home to work, the metro is the fastest, most convenient, if not the most pleasant way to go from point A to point B!
But, is "visiting" a foreign city limited to "seeing" its landmarks (that can be seen on postcards or on the Internet) and not leisurly (on holiday!) getting a feel of it by seeing its more discreet, less iconic sites?
I once was literally shocked when I saw one of your fellow UA-camrs - an American living in Paris - advise his audience on how "TO DO" the Louvre in 3 hours!!!
I dream of genuinely curious VISITORS and not of dumb mass tourists who'd come to discover all that Europe in general, and France in particular have to offer to intellectually enrich them, enchant or even displease them.
I love slow but scenic travel on Paris buses. Also you get to see how everywhere "joins up".
@@janebaker966 The buses are not "slow", it's the metro that's fast ... eventhough I hate the endless corridors, steps, ...
I'm a Parisian and I avoid the metro as much as possible; I only use it when I'm in a hurry, as I never tire of watching the city, even its less "iconic" places.

The low light mode in 4K is maximum 30 FPS. Sometimes in fpv, sometimes in follow mode.
@paristoptips Thanks, trying to figure out why the frames are dropping in your video. Did you have it on manual or automatic?

@@paristoptips Well "saccager" is a bit of an exaggeration! Did the Parisians call the pharaonic work of Haussmann a "saccage" of the city? (check, on YT "Legendary Megastructures | The Gigantic Architectural Transformation of Paris | FD Engineering" - Free Documentary - Engineering. A major - old - city like Paris has to both adapt to modern times and preserve its identity and its residents' quality of life, which is not an easy job.
Many Parisian - drivers! - hate Anne Hidalgo, whist pedestrians like me love and thank her. Had you been shopping on a Saturday near rue de Rivoli some years ago, you'd understand what I mean!
What I absolutely, fully regret though, is Paris prostituting herself to the effing tourists! Check rue de Rivoli again, rue de Steinkerke, Montmartre, ... or the Samaritaine to see that the locals have to go a long way to buy bread or groceries instead of made in China "I love Paris" junk: the locals' ordinary, the basic necessities of life are sold to please visitors of a few days ... who expect our city to be some EuroDisney!
Mass tourism getting out of hand is the true "saccage" of historical cities, not their maintenance works!
