Very nice video! Have you ever tried Free mobile network.
Regardless, you will be recognized as a turist. But always be polite and not to act annoying.
It's not bad to be a tourist, but it's good not to be a bad tourist 😁
I’ll never tell folks where I hide my money when I travel but pickpockets will never ever ever find it .
Good for you...
Listen to his advice! Using it, we saved a lot of time by not standing in line to get in, as well as the extremely useful advice on how to navigate the museum. Using the Porte des Lions entrance saved us waiting in line for over an hour, and we had entrance tickets for 9:30am. Instead, we used the entrance he mentioned and literally just walked into the museum. I will be telling all my friends who are planning to visit the Louvre to watch this video first! Thank you for your excellent advice.
I'm so glad it helped you save some valuable time...
Can not wait to back
Hopefully soon!
I’m heading to Paris next month so thank you for your great guide. I will be extra vigilant, especially when first arriving after a long flight!
My pleasure 🙏
dont order from the ''english menu '' ----- they will burn the food for you ( thats a joke brit ) live france even mum and dad restaurents ma and pa restaurents food here is good and a good tip if the locals go its probably good .... bordeaux has some good places like this too and the wine .... tick nice vid ...
Thanks! Yes, avoid places where there are only tourists...
Which in your opinion is the best hour to experience it?
Sunset! Starting by day, finishing by night, with normally the Eiffel Tower sparkling at the hour.
Bravo pour l'introduction très pratique.
Merci!
Hello my friend. This video was so beautiful done...I would love to visit this time of year ❤️ Thanks for sharing it 😀
Thank you too. I hope you'll do it one day...
When exactly was your visit with the wisteria blooming like this?
Last Monday, May 6th.
@@paristoptips Thank you. I loved the video
Perhaps the best onion soup I ever had, 2008,2012,2020 Will be there soon
Hope you have a great meal... again!
I've eaten there a few times and had the onion soup. It IS good. Had fun chatting with some people who came into town just to eat the pig's trotters. It's touristy but it's so fun.
Great video, again! Can you please do another one on visiting the house of Maurice Ravel? That seems to be quite complicated... Many thanks!
Thanks 🙏 I'll see what I can do...
This place has such a timeless beauty, hard to believe it was a ruin until the late 70's.
Yes, the guy who made the recovery of Versailles then was asked to renew Giverny...
Beautiful camera work Alain, visually stunning film of Giverny, you are an artist yourself if you don't mind me saying.🥂
Thanks Matthew 🙏 Please don't make me blush 😊
One of the highlights of my trip!💜💚👌I went a Friday afternoon it was a challenge to get to St. Lazare 1st!...but was lucky enough to get almost during the last hr. before closing🙏 photos at the golden hr. were Amazing!...and almost no crowds at all!👌Lovely detail the paintings juxtaposition Alain!👍👏🥰
I'm happy you had a great experience, Ivette... Were the flowers blooming when you went?
@@paristoptips Yes! I was so Blessed!🙏...eventhough i almost give up several times at Gare de Nord...it took me forever to figure out the connection...and when i saw other video of Giverny🫣 figure out that St. Lazare was the train station to reach!...on my 2 wks stay i walk almost everywhere...and on my last full day is when finally figure how the Metro does work🫣...knowing that the direction is established by the last stop makes a huge difference...👌😉🤭...and that was because i was determined to get to my artisanal boulanger from last yr.🥖🥐...on the 19th...even brought bread back to Puerto Rico from that place🥰 most people don't realize that all boulangeries are not created equal😉👌👍
Oh yes! Some bakers are just wizards of the bread 😂
Thank you for posting this excellent video. The train ticket instructional video is much appreciated and the video of the gardens and house were lovely. I learned the value of prebooking / purchasing tickets to museums when I traveled to Italy in 2019. This saves an incredible amount of time. Merci.
I'd be glad if it could help you... Thanks 🙏
Outstanding video . One feels the inspiration
Et d'ailleurs, il vient d'où leur cochon ?
Du Tarn...
Très interessant et super qualité d'image. Top!
Merci beaucoup !
Merci pour cette decouverte de Paris hors des sentiers battus🤩
Avec plaisir 🙏
I bought the Museum Pass for myself which allows me to visit Arc De Triomphe without a reservation, my kids are under 18 so no need for museum pass. I’m trying to book tickets for Arc De Triomphe for my kids, but the website won’t allow me to just book the free children tickets alone without paying for adult ticket. Does anyone know if they will allow my kids to join me without a reservation? Or do I need to pay for an adult ticket just to get the free children’s ticket? Thanks in advance.
They do say "Paris Museum Pass subscribers can go directly to the monument, no reservations required online" which means you would have to go to the ticket booth too, to be able to access the monument. Then you'll be able to ask for your kids free tickets.
Is this possible on iPhone yet?
Not yet, but very soon, before summer, normally.
In my app it only appears to buy navigo, it does not appear for individual tickets. Any configuration I need to do?
What is your app?
Thank you for a wonderful soundtrack Alain! I grew up listening to Steely Dan and Spyro Gyra and miss those times; the world needs much more high quality smooth jazz!
It always makes me happy when viewers tell me they like my soundtracks... Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Wonderfully helpful. Merci Beaucoup!
You are welcome! Glad it was helpful...
We went last summer. Perfect lunch of chilled zucchini soup and grilled fish. The soup was so perfect I have pretty much copied it at home to great acclaim from friends. Saute some onion and the flesh of the zucchini (avoid green watery seeds) puréed with chicken stock, cream and some basil. Season to taste. A keeper.
Sounds great!
Sir, Thank you so much. You've done a great job showing the view and also explaining everything so very well👏 Thank you again, and God bless 🙏
My pleasure 🙏
Still not convinced he shot himself...
Who?
Would you recommend using Bonjour RATP or IDF Mobilités app? Or is it basically the same in terms of buying and validating tickets?
Can I also use it on the bus system as well?
Yes, you can. In some busses though, the system does not work very well. You'll have to try a few times to validate your travel.
Warned a friend about the passport photocopy necessity. L'Idiot did not listen and, while taking photos from Eiffel, someone took his backpack (left on the ground) with all his essentials ( I.D. wallet, money, credit cards, etc.) I have New Friends now!
Shit happens! And in Paris, recklessness often has disastrous consequences...
Thank you. So with this app, I don't need to buy Navigo card, right? I can just buy 1 or daily tickets from the app.
Yes, correct. Either virtual t+ tickets (up to 30) or daily, weekly or monthly passes.
This place is not good. The food was cold and stale. Waste of time.
Sometimes, people don't get there what they had expected. Sorry for you...
Beautiful neighbor .. I always wanted to visit Paris .. maybe some day
I hope you will...
Loved the video 👍
Glad you enjoyed
Great job 👏
Merci!🙏
The video is like art. Just enough narration and music for a wonderful balance to highlight the beautiful visuals of the video. The Mount Parnasse Tower, from video 1, is a place I may visit because of this video. Thank you!
Glad you liked it. You'll really have a beautiful view from the top of Montparnasse tower.
Thank you to all of your videos.! Thank you for your love of your beautiful city that is also my favorite in the world . Today is my last day in Paris ( visit #8) and I learned so much from you, it made our stay even more interesting. Keep up please your great work! ❤😊
I'm very happy you found them useful!
This is very helpful.
Thanks 🙏
Bonjour Alain! Can you do a video of Pére Lachaise Cemetery at night? 🤔🧐
No, as it always closes before night 🙂
@@paristoptips You could sneak in or go undercover 😂
Bien sûr, everything in the seizième looked wonderful, none of which I've yet done. The Marmottan-Monet museum looked particularly interesting and far more inviting than Musée de l'Orangerie to see Monet's paintings.🥂
L'Orangerie is interesting but quite small. Marmottan is definitely a better choice if you like Impressionism.
Wonderful overview of the outer areas of Paris and interesting sights to see. Thanks for posting the video and all of the other videos you have shared with us.
Thanks for liking this vid and the others
Keep this up and my next trip will have to last a month :)
It's all I wish for you! 😁
I think , maybe , I will just have to move .
This is a gem video!👌♦️✨️🎖🏆🏅🪙💎🔶️🔷️🔸️🔹️💠🇲🇫
Thanks a lot, Ivette!
Thanks to one of your videos we have already visited the Marmottan-Monet museum. This new series give us even more tips for places to explore. From now on le Musée Guimet is on the must visit list. Thank you for all your Herculean work and effort.
You will not regret it, it's a wonderful museum...
Thanks so much, especially for giving the Musee Marmottan and Berthe Morisot their due.
My pleasure 🙂
Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into making these insightful and amazing videos. I really appreciate it.
So nice of you... I'm glad you like them and appreciate the effort put in them.
Beautiful 👍
Thank you 😊
Great video, thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
Loved the videos 👍. I have been searching for nice Paris coffee shop videos to watch on the weekend but not many on UA-cam. Thank you :)
