Yeah nobody cares about the dust in the pipe. More concerned with actual blockages. In which case the blower works fine. FYI my entire childhood we had a dryer with the vent running inside, with pantyhose over it. It’s a lot easier to clean even by hand.
@@CorneliusCornbreadAnd even when it does become a problem it takes about two minutes to resolve. But this guy's whole business is cleaning dryer vents so obviously he's not going to endorse leaving it this way
@dryerventcleaningde because it's non issue. Blocks are what causes problems and the leafblower takes care of that. You can pay for someone to clean the dryer vent and within a couple months it will be dirty again. We aren't breathing that air, the leaf blower method costs $0. That's why we don't care.
Well yea it’s not as effective as using mechanical means like a brush, but it also helps if you seal the end of the leaf blower. You can see the gap between the blower and the pipe.
Electric blowers are not as effective for cleaning dryer vent systems. I used a powerful STILT blower and removed tons of debris compared to an electric blower. I wish I had recorded a video to show the difference. I used a gas blower outside to blow air into the home and a leaf vacuum inside to capture the incoming debris. Note: Do not use a gas blower indoors due to the risk of fumes and electrical hazards.
I get what you're saying, but most people are looking for quick and cheap ways to clear the block and save their home from a dryer fire. No one wants to pay 100+ dollars for something they can do for cheap.
Well you certainly get what you pay for lol the leaf blower won't clean your dryer vent. I don't want to pay for a doctor visit but it's going to work.
Beyond this, there is supposed to be a grate over the end ofbthe vent. If you dont openbthat up, it all just clogs in that grate and blocks up completely. Ive seen ppl replaced dryers because they didnt dry and professional vent cleaners didnt bither going on the roof to open yhe grate and wnded up blocked it up. Gues what that newb600$ dryer also didnt work.
Why is he blowing the lint back into the dryer 😢ok it just blowing into the wall if he was honest he would blow it out to the open side and not into the wall
@@dryerventcleaningde I would guess he wants an honest representation. if you restrict airflow at the back end its going to build pressure, but it wont get air flow through the pipe which is what is necessary to have a better chance of cleaning the pipe surfaces. I dont know if a leaf blower will work or not, but I feel very much that this isnt an honest representation.

Why wouldn't you be concerned about a layer of lint that is extremely sticky and builds upon itself really fast? That's weird...
@@dryerventcleaningdebecause it's not a problem until it starts to impede air flow?

@rykwon4535 you win comment of the year
Why did you keep it against the wall? Didn't even give it a chance. Air had nowhere to go!
rewatch the video. it's not against the wall....
@@dryerventcleaningde It looks clean enough for the air to flow through. No body cares about a thin layer of lint remaining.

Who care about that as long the big stuff comes out, I do it every year with my leaf blower every year works perfectly!!

Of you have a reducer at the end of pipe or more powerful blower it definitely will be cleaned
I think you need that drill w/brush attachment with all the extensions and then you blow it
"prevent the least amount"?
