Safer than ANY flex hose behind your dryer! No more fooling with connecting the dryer to the duct! No more lint leakage forcing you to dust constantly!

PLEASE LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE FOLKS!!! I'm trying to grow the channel however I'd much rather spread the word on the dangers of your dryer vent AND SAVE A LIFE!!! You subscribing helps get this message to more and more people!
Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

@advsLLC
The neighbors thank you for decreasing the chance of fire by 100 percent 👍🏾💯
And thank you for your kind words!
That ventline hasn't been serviced in many years! That excessively long foilflex duct is a big reason for all that lint. Heck, there's enough lint there to make 10 pairs of pants, 15 shirts and a half dozen bath towels! 😁
And blow out dryers! If you noticed, that was a brand new machine… Wonder why it was showing a code… LOL, and it’s a previous customer of mine! Honestly though, it shows I need to get better at explaining the need and danger to folks but think there’s a fine line between scaring people and guaranteeing repeat business vs just being there to help whenever it happens to cross their mind… Juggling act for sure however I DEFINITELY didn’t explain correctly last time I was there! Thx again Bob! I appreciate both you watching as well as stepping out and sharing your thoughts with your experience!
@@advsLLC😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ok so what I’m getting from this video is those metal vent slinkies are bad. So what should I get. The while plastic one.
@@dutchy213 NOOO! Go to www.almetaldryervent.com and look at my Quick Connect Periscope! It's a 2"x4" rectangular duct that's screwed to the wall and the dryer backs straight into it and receives EVERY time! Gets the machine much closer to the wall, and guarantees you'll never have to deal with connecting flex hose again!
I have seen the same thing with smooth walled pipe
The UA-cam auto captions at times calling the brushing “music” absolutely sent me 😂😂😂.
It’s not wrong, honestly. The beautiful music of not needing an insurance claim after a dryer fire.
HAHAHAHAHA! Good stuff!!!
I could almost taste that dust and fluff in my mouth it was coming out of the vent so fast once it started! Wowser!
LOL! Just a perk of the job I guess...
@@advsLLCwhat area do you work in?
I have a friend needing your help in Ventura California
@@marshasimpson3453 Oh my.... That's going to be an issue.... I'm in Charlotte, NC.... I'd love to meet ya though, LOL!
I'd suggest to homeowner to replace foil flex tube exhaust with rigid sheet metal and shorter flex to dryer.
I like your video but hope you invest on 2nd camera for 2 perspective angles
Yea, I've been trying to use two cameras in my newer videos however I'm still learning the photography side of things... I appreciate your feedback! That's the only way I'll get better and know what the viewers would like!
2:33 - Incredible mate, thank you for showing us the dangers of this buildup!
But please - wear a respirator! You are at high risk of developing "Furrier's Lung."
A type of occupational asthma once associated with cleaning rugs/furs. (When rugs were beaten.)
There exists, in most households, hundreds of tiny larvae of an insect called "carpet beetles." (Most "moth" damage is actually carpet beetle damage.) These pinhead-sized larvae have microscopic spikes all over their bodies. Each larvae sheds thousands of spikes in their 1-3 year larvae stage.
These spikes cause micro-puncture of the eyes, and lung tissue. In the lungs, they get stuck there. This is often what causes itchy, "allergy" eyes while dusting. Not just pollen!
Inhale enough of them, over time - and you get asthma for life.
Most vaccum cleaners will not "clean" the spikes away, unless they have micron filtration systems. Spikes just accumulate in homes year after year.
The larvae eat natural clothing materials, (Silk, fur, wool, cotton,) dead skin cells, dead bugs, feathers, hair roots - all what you find in lint. LINT IS THEIR HOME. Please protect yourself! Sneezing/coughing/burning eyes is a warning - not an annoyance. Take care friend!
Wow! A lot to take in there however I promise to research these topics! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain! I'll do better, LOL!
Oh wow, that was educational, thank you! 👍
@@anniestumpy9918 That's my intention and hopefully the videos continue to spread the word! I appreciate your kind words Annie!
@@advsLLC Yeah, your mind will be blown! I had no idea about carpet beetles and their threat to health... Until my mother suddenly had respiratory issues. Overnight. Only thing that changed - she bought a house.
After several years of wild goose chases finding out what may be wrong environmentally, thousands of unnecessary health tests/scans/mold tests coming up blank - boom, furriers lung.
I found out about it reading a 1918 craft journal about fur sewing. Make your own clothes - but mask, beat furs outdoors....protect yourself from furrier's lung.
Then it dawned on me - oh my God.
My health and out of my mother's improved so much after we treated for the bugs and got an allergen-filtration vaccum.
Night and day difference. We were sickly, lethargic, coughing, sneezing. All the time.
I fared better, near 100% recovery. Ma still struggles; at least she's on the road to recovery now.
@@advsLLC You removing all this lint, is actually helping greatly to improve the health of your clients by getting rid of many invisible carpet beetle spikes and the damn larvae themselves! You're a beetle slayer - and don't even know it. :)
Are the clients surprised at the volume of lint from their vents?
Nice video.
Almost always, LOL!
Claude have mercy!!!! FIRE HAZARD FIXED! Great job. They need that quick connect for sure.
Man you ain't lyin!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And they need to check out @OnPointInkTherapy for all those artistic needs!!! Thanks for watching my guy!
@dustinbest00 what all does "On Point Ink Therapy" offer? I know it's not just amazing tattoos because you've shown my some of your other art!
Shorten the inside vent
The fact that they had that flex tubing going up and over and putting that in that position in itself would trap lint that was really stupid.
Exactly and for him to not let the costumer know and to resize it, is no help.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!
@@makokoro9073 *Customer. Did you not listen, he was going to do exactly that?
You seem like you really enjoy your career! Keep the videos coming!
I very much enjoy it! Thanks for watching!!!
That’s just CRAZY
I KNOW! Definitely one of the more dangerous situations in the past 6 months! Thanks for watching!!!
This is 1st thing im doing when i visit my mom
Looks like they ran the old dryer for years with no lint filter. People often don't clean them anyway. I service appliances, and dryers are my favorite, I ALWAYS find money in them. LOL.
YESSSIR!!! Find cool things behind them as well!!! Thx for watching Jimmyday!
Wow it is a wonder that there was not a fire with all that lint.
Glad it was cleaned out before that would happen.
NICE!!!
I clean most out least once a month. But less in the winter First time I did that after we moved in. Mine was kind like yours
Why do I love these videos so much ? 😂
LOL, no clue however I'm happy you're here!
Dang… even after all that came out from the leaf blower soooooo much still came out during that final brushing.
You are bold to remove all that dust without wearing safety glasses!
I know...... I'm trying to get better, lol. I've been pleasantly surprised with the amount of comments from my viewers regarding my health and safety! It's humbling for sure and I appreciate each and every one of you!!!
@@advsLLCAND GLOVES PLEASE!!!
@@22aplilethat's the hardest one to remember, lol!
Enjoy your videos, amazing work.
May I make a suggestion? Number one wear safety glasses and mask for sure. I would wear protection over my clothes. All this for your health. Than I’d lay down tarp. Keeping all together and not all over the yard, easy to pick up when finished.
Boy I like watching!
Please wear eye protection too 😊
Such a fire hazard! 😱
This one ABSOLUTELY was a fire hazard!
That duct is the ground zero source of the coronavirus
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You may be correct! HA!
JEEZ!
How can it stay in there all this time and not had a fire… 😂
Who in the world Thought that was a good idea!?!? What a ventastrophy. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
NICE!
Be cheaper and quicker to just replace the hose. Definitely, too many kinkd in that hose to begin with..
But i understand why it does simce theres no easy way to attach a shorter hose
WOW!
it should just be mandatory regarding home designs that dryer vents directly to outside wall,,, no turns or elbows.. just a straight shot -4 feet hose at the most. i can see from my inside opening right through to exterior,,, never gets build up and if the slightest builds up i can literally swab clean with a toilet brush…. no risk of fire super easy to clean…
You might want to YELL that for the ones in the back!!! I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! Although, that would put me out of business... Oh my, LOL!!!!
No me gusta lavadora de secadera no vale polvos sucios más trabajar duros
How far do you travel? ❤ 6:26
HAHAHAHA! Not to Oklahoma.... LOL!
Why blow instead of vacuum? Vacuuming would be easier on your airways, and wouldn’t make a linty mess outside the customer’s house. (And with our fabrics now being mostly synthetic, vacuuming also keeps some microplastics out of the environment.) And if you vacuum from one end and snake from the other, lint won’t get trapped on the snake like shown early in the video.
I can dig it! Thx for the suggestions!
Mine was like that!
I do not like stackables, especially in a closet! They are hard to move and damage to the floor is possible without an Airsled.
Funny thing, I have one in the truck but my brain goes straight to figuring a solution that sometimes I skip the easy things... They definitely help in 95% of situations! You know I appreciate ya Bob!
For those who live in small condos, we have no choice. My "laundry" room/closet is 30" wide.
@@larryk731ABSOLUTELY! And let's face it, the machines are only getting larger and larger... Like fitting 20 lbs of potatoes in a 10 lb sack! It won't work!
I'm not a Saturday fan either!
if you dont mind me asking, where did you get that snake for the dryer Vent? i need one
You can get them at Lowe's.
No sir.... You can get a segmented brush kit there however, not a 33', ONE PIECE brush system.....
Wow
Lol, fluffy gold! Thanks for watching and for commenting! I really appreciate it!
He acting like this his first time, lol
Yup... I'm definitely a novice, LOL
Good morning!
got a question for you i’m in south florida and would like to start a vent cleaning company so can you share what type machine you are using?
Thanks and god bless!
Reach out to me at www.advsLLC@gmail.com and I’ll try and help however possible.
What type of machine and flex hose do you use to clean the air vent
Just a drill and a 4", rotary brush my friend! Where are you watching from?
Where did you get that long attachment with the brush for the drill
@@christopherdelon3026 It's a prototype I'm currently in process of manufacturing for sale.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😍
Where did you get the tool you are using to clean the vent
It's a prototype I'm currently working on. Thx for watching!
What? Not pulling apart the dryer to remove any lint from insid?? No cleaning the lint catcher or whatever it is called? Isn't that vent coil too long?
NOPE... In case you missed the name of my channel, it's "Almetal Dryer Vent." If a customer wants to pay more for me to take their dryer apart and clean the APPLIANCE, I'm ok with that however I focus on residential air movement... Not the apparatus that creates the air.... Hence why company isn't called Almetal Appliance Service.... Thx for watching!
He said it was a new dryer.
@@jimmyday9536 ooohhh okay, since I have seen others do it, I was wondering.
@@advsLLC ohh thank you for explaining.
This is the main reason I clean my lint traps after every load. This is usually the main cause of fires. I would have just taken the flex pipe off inside and cleaned it with a shop vac. You just waisted a lot of time.
Did You watch the full video? It would appear you didn't. You clearly have no experience with residential venting applications... No matter how often you clean the lint trap, residual lint will still gather in the duct... Also, like video shows, this vent is around 30' in length... You must have a CRAZY shop vac!
@@advsLLC I'm a resident and have cleaned mine and my family's dryers and washers. Cleaned out vent pipes and rerouted them Have also replaced parts to get them working again. I also work on cars.
@devilmecare awesome man! Keep up the good work!
@@advsLLC I'm a woman.
Hang your clothes to dry naturally, you will save electricity...
That method is definitely tried and true, LOL
WOW!
