I'd translate "kokko" into "bonfire". "Juhannuskokko" would be "midsummer pyre".

Omg! Jake sounds exactly like my boyfriend trying to pronounce anything in Finnnish! Apparently the long words surprise many foreigners, like one night my boyfriend randomly send me the word "elokuvateatteri" because he thought someone was trying to fool him by claiming that it means cinema...but it does coz as u can see in the video we're the masters of connecting words together to create a new word. :D
It's funny how every time someone does a video abput learning Finnish they start with the most difficult parts😄

In US English, if you say "Candyman" 5 times while looking in a mirror the Candyman will appear. In Finnish, if you say "Kokoo koko kokko kokoon" 3 times while looking into a camera a dog will piss on your carpet.
Stupid superstitions. Scientifically saying those particular 3 Finnish words whilst looking until camera cannot make a dog pee on ur carpet. If it so happens that you have a dog, then it is purely coincidental that at some point in the future they pee on ur carpet and ur brain makes a connection to you talking to a camera.

I'm learning Finnish now and I really don't understand why people think it is hard. The grammar is the only thing that is hard to understand but that's with every language.

+Jake and Emma For us English speaker the pronunciation is a little tricky because we normally don't pronounce every letter in a word but Finnish you do.
